So I drove to this Interstate Battery location to have my Battery replaced. When I pulled up to the Business the parking lot was about full so that gave me a good sign that this was a great place to get our battery replaced. So I walked in and started talking to the Associate about my problem and they kindly offered to look at testing my Battery and advised that if the battery was bad that they would look at getting it replaced. After waiting about 10 minutes and pulling my vehicle into the bay, they tested the battery and sure enough the battery was on its last leg. The associate there offered me a battery that had a blemish and because of that it would be lesser cost. So I decided to take that one. After a period of months the battery worked GREAT! But then 2 months ago the battery started causing my vehicle not to start. If I waited a minute I could then start my car. Well this went on for awhile and so I decided to take my Vehicle to a mechanic to have the battery tested. The diagnostic came back as the battery was showing as it having Low Voltage. So I returned back to this place and explained the situation and since the battery is under warranty I was wanting to have it replaced. The one thing that I dont like here is the Associates tell you "Well if your battery is doing good then we cant replace it for you after we test it" I mean maybe they have to say that, but a customer isn't going to come in and lie about the battery they are having problems with. WELL maybe they would, but no honest person would anyways. Especially with us having to drive almost 3 hours 1 way to look at having a battery replaced. Oh, and if you live in Sacramento, dont go to the Wherehouse because they dont do installs. They can test your battery but they want you to take the battery out and also to bring it to them. Anyways, so after having a conversation with Destin, he said because the battery wasnt showing 300 cold cranking amps that he would go ahead and replace it. Well after waiting about a half hour, my car was finally back on the road and with a new Battery. Let me tell you that since that day of having my battery replaced a week ago, I havent had any trouble with it since. The only reason why I am giving this a 4 star and not a 5 star is because I dont think Associates should be telling customers that if the battery is Healthy then they cant replace it. Because from a Customers perspective they are gonna know best with what is wrong with their vehicle if the only thing they replaced that started the problem was the battery.

They checked my charging system (which was good), checked my starter (which was good) and then took my old battery out and did a thorough check. It was ok. It had a dead cell but would probably get me by for a couple more years. They did not try and sell me anything. Needless to say I bought a new battery. Personally I don't like being stranded. If you want to wade through the crowds at Costco you might get a better price! Personally I like a fair price with great service any day!!!

Told them he had replaced the fuel injectors within the past year, lift pump within the past two years and believes it's most likely the pressure pump but does not have the scanner required to do the other diagnostics that need to be done. My boyfriend called around after dropping his truck off around 9 am. I sat like a fly on the wall listening. My BF asked about his truck the person on the phone sounded annoyed when they told him "I'm with a customer can you hold?" He came back on the phone and proceeded to tell my BF that they aren't really sure what the problem is but they think possibly 3 of the injectors failed and would have to charge around ballpark of 400$ to take them all out to test them, but it could be the pressure pump they don't know for sure. Long story short he called up Jefferson State diesel (JSD) where he had purchased the injectors to begin with. The friendly staff member answered, "Good afternoon, (introduced himself) and asked how he could help. He referred to my BF formally calling him Mr (and used his last name)." He was so professional far stretch from J and H performance. He informed my BF his injectors were under warranty and would be glad to help. My BF then called back J and H performance and explain to him that he would go ahead and pick up his truck. He asked what the charge would be. J and H performance told my boyfriend that they worked on his truck for four hours total. There was no diagnosis which is the whole point of bringing it in. They told him what he already knew. Apparently on the receipt there was only a few items that show what they had done which was hook up some scanners and they told him they worked four hours on his truck and charged $375. NO WAY When my bf told him he was very unhappy with that price considering there was no diagnosis.. the guy told him, "well what do you want us to charge you?" Then proceeded to get rude and state, "just come get your truck and don't come back here." My BF told him "oh no I don't expect anything for free. I know you did some work, I'd like to pay you for but 375$ is ridiculous!" My BF paid the full bill needless to say he won't be returning and I would not recommend them, myself personally, to anybody just based on what I had witnessed with my own eyes and ears. I experienced damage to a wheel hub on my dual axle trailer in Ashland OR. Had a shop there install brakes all around while they were repairing it. Heading back home to the Bay Area, by the time I got to Mt. Shasta another hub was heating up. I spoke to Troy, a mobile mechanic in Weed. He was booked and, lacking other options in the area, I decided to limp down to civilization (Redding) where my odds of finding help would increase. Troy referred me to All Wheel. Four hours and 65 miles later, I limped into their lot, hoping against hope for an appointment sometime in the next week. I spoke to Rizzy, an outstanding gentleman with a heart of gold. Much to my surprise, within a short time he had Brian inspecting all of my axles. As it was late in the day, we decided it would be best to finish in the morning. As others have mentioned, I was graciously offered the option to spend the night, which I gladly accepted. Throughout the process they kept me in the loop as to what they were doing to diagnose and eventually fix the problem. They found two issues that the previous shop was responsible for, and by noon the next day I was heading back home to the Bay Area. I could not have asked for better service. The level of professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend these folks for your repair and maintenance needs. Thanks Rizz!

I Called the shop and asked how much to get a muffler welded onto my Engine [estimate 45.00 + shop…read morelabor] Then when I brought my **Bicycle** into the shop to have them Weld on a YZ80 muffler onto a Header to be mounted on the 2 stroke motor. The estimate went up to $120.00 *Including shop labor*. But His welder was out sick, So they had someone else work on it. It sat at their shop for 2 weeks waiting on the welder to get better. by the time the 3rd week rolled around Monday morning I was on the phone and the gentleman on the other end of the phone said he had another mechanic that new how to weld. Would I be all right with him doing the work, I said yes. 3 days later I was told I could pick it up. The Mechanic that worked on my Ride, He's such a Idiot! The welds are blobs and balls & pitted. Worst welding I have ever seen from a Newbie Welder! I had spent 20+ hours getting that Muffler to a Mirror finish and 3 separate coats of High Temp Gloss Black Baked in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours and wet sanded after each time before the next coat. It looked like a Black Mirror I loved it! The Welder decided on his own to re-paint my Muffler to it's original flat black using HTP and charged me 2x times the price of A can of High Temp Paint. The Mechanic was using the paint to cover up his poor job of welding. On top of this I was charged 157.29 for him to weld my Muffler & Paint my Muffler. Yes I took a Bicycle to a Motorcycle Mechanic to get a Motorcycle Muffler welded onto a 2 stroke motor for me. I've got over $2,000.00 into this ride. I was shocked at what he did to my ride and the price I was charged, I'll never send anyone to them.

We had the car towed on Sunday night and brought it to Perry's after my nephew researched their website. On Monday we were there at 8am and to our surprise there was a line of people already in the office. We figured we had no chance but the fact that they were super busy was a good sign. Amy took care of us and said they were super busy but would get someone to do a quick diagnosis. Jeremy, the Manager, stopped everything he was doing and provided us with a quick diagnosis and our options. The car had not been serviced in a while And it needed a new transmission. Expensive but the fact that Jeremy took immediate care of our needs and provided options plus we felt so comfortable with the way he handled it. The rest of the staff were very friendly and super helpful. It's a bummer that our car broke down but I am thankful for repair shops like Perry's who are honest and handle their business with integrity and care for the people that get stranded in the middle of no where while traveling on vacation.
