O'sheas is not what it used to be. Back in the day it was the fun dive casino that had its own vibe. When the area was remodeled and it was absorbed into a section off of the Linq, it still maintained some of the original fun, including the beer pong tables, the dark Irish bar feel and the frozen baileys drinks. This last time we ventured in, specifically hoping for a frozen baileys and were completely taken aback by the price. $23+ for a frozen drink. Now compared to other spots on the strip, that seems to align with most but what it felt like for me was that they've lost all attempts to keep up the feeing of what they used to be - a fun, divey, cheap spot to get a break from the overpriced antics of the strip. Came here on my last trip to Vegas, and pretty much every "what to eat" guide had this drink on their itinerary, so I figured it had to be on mine. We ordered one of these from their outdoor bar on the way to In-N-Out (highly recommend pairing this drink with a double double animal style). It was mid afternoon and not busy at all, so we were promptly served. I'm going to attempt to describe this drink but really, you just need to go try it. This is more of a heads up than anything. Yesterday late afternoon I finally got over to O'Shea's on the last day of my Vegas jaunt to try one of their infamous frozen Bailey's drinks that I've been reading all about in several facebook groups. Since none of the table games were open in O'Shea's, and I wasn't sure if the cocktail waitresses in the slot machine area outside of O'Shea's would have access to the frozen Bailey's drinks, I sat at their bar and clarified with the bartender before I ordered, "If I play video poker here at the bar do I get comped drinks?" Bartender answers, "You get your first drink comped. You have to play and maintain a balance of $20 to get additional drinks." So I put in $40, ordered my frozen Bailey's drink and tipped the bartender. Seeing that it is 105 degrees in Vegas right now, the frozen drink hit the spot as would any cold beverage. It was nothing to write home about though and in my opinion, not worth the hype. And see the accompanying photo to see how small it was. I continued playing video poker and after about 10 minutes, I asked the bartender what kinds of cider they have as I was thirsty for a nice cold cider instead of a second frozen Bailey's. They don't have cider drinks at O'Shea's, an Irish pub... I found that rather surprising. So I just ordered a Blue Moon draft. The bartender clarified that it wouldn't be comped because I wasn't playing the $1.25 per hand max play. He pointed to a light on the top of the machine that would turn red when I gambled enough max play hands to "earn additional free drinks." I said, "Oh ok, thanks" and I cashed out and left. You can spend $200 playing video poker but if it's 1-4 credits per play your money doesn't "qualify" for comped drinks, but if you spend $20 or whatever the hell number they deemed "drink qualify-worthy" by playing 5 credits, you "qualify" for comped drinks... Make it make sense. I just wanted to share my experience to give the rest of you the heads up about how the comped drinks work at O'Shea's bar just in case you're planning on heading over for a frozen Bailey's and don't want to pay $21.50 for a dinky azz frozen Bailey's drink, which was the comped price for the drink on the receipt. In my opinion, you're better off buying a bottle of Bailey's at a liquor store and doctoring up a chocolate milk shake from McDonald's. At the very least you'll at least hopefully feel welcomed wherever you doctor up your Mickey D's shake. read more

I found that the Linq places all their newer video machines (poker, roulette, etc..) inside O'Sheas probably for the younger crowd. It's definitely one of the better things about the Linq IMO. We went here in a group and I gotta say that may be the best way to experience O'Sheas. It's not cheap but one of their biggest draws are their beer pong tables. None were being used when we arrived and instead of playing beer pong we did flip cup. By the end I feel like half the bar was joining in on the fun. It was a great time, and O'Sheas has a good location right off the promenade. If you have a Caesar's Rewards Players card be sure to get credit. My friends and I were staying at the LINQ and stopped in for a night cap one evening. The servers were fine, didn't think they were overly fantastic nor terrible, just a-ok. The beer selection was a bit worse than service. We played beer pong a bit so that was fun while others did some cards behind us. So visited the place at the back, and the gentleman who served us was so nice (so different than the girls who served us at ice bar).
