Silverton offers a lot of perks for players. They have pros and cons. Dining credits have been annoying for the past few months. Restaurants where dining credits can be used for takeout change all the time. Silverton restaurants including Twin Creeks, Mi Casa and Su Casa and Mermaid Bar qualify for dine in only. In the past dining credit could be used for takeout at Mi Casa and Su Casa. In March I used dining credit to eat at Twin Creeks. Today I had 2, $15 dining credits, one could be used for takeout at WuHu only, the other for takeout at WuHu or Sundance Grill. WuHu usually has a long line to order and in person is the only option. I'm a believer in offering options for using dining credit to make it easier for everyone to actually use it. Usually the credit is available for 48 to 72 hours after printing at a kiosk. Other monthly casino promotions include weekly gifts and drawings. Silverton has been pretty unique (tho not alone) in offering branded gifts. Lately I've received a Silverton branded travel mug, T shirt, tote bags and hats. I share it as often as I keep it. Their restaurant variety is impressive and includes Starbucks. My perception is that people weren't sure what to make of it and children were even rather calm (as opposed to typical enthusiasm when seing Santa). Silverton, overall, was a solid local casino where I can easily see myself coming back to. They have your typical layout with slots throughout and dining along the sides of the casino. We loved the free entertainment with the aquarium and waterfall by the entrance. It was clean! That is always important to me. I cannot speak to the rooms because we are local. Hopefully, they are equally up to that standard as well. Customer Service wise, we came across Sandy. She was extremely helpful and such a positive light. We were able to all sign up for our rewards cards and she personally walked us through each step from start to finish. Never got treated with respect but I got kicked out for just trying to go to my room to sleep and got humiliated and got ganged by the security and got kicked out of our room. The service is terrible and I spend to much money to get bad service and not even a smile from your bartenders. I remember when your bartenders were happy to see me, smiled and talked to me. This review is mainly for Chris, the night auditor front desk worker for the hotel, who is an Americanized Filipino young guy with a mustache and beard. I was staying there as a guest and was waiting in the long line to change rooms because I had found insects in my room. He started tweaking out in front of a guest and cussing an old man out saying he was going to jump over the counter and strangle him and said "f*ck you" at least 10 times. The old man did not become hostile with him at all and Chris continued to throw an angry tantrum. He also acted this way with plenty of kids standing around. I just witnessed the whole thing and then he called security because he lost his mind. I'm not sure how he's employed here and I will not be back here again after seeing that. I also heard from multiple guests that the hotel has security staff that uses master keys to enter guest rooms without permission. Very unsafe and unprofessional. The hotel manager Elaine Gutierrez is also very unprofessional and does not care about guest safety and is very rude and disrespectful to guests. read more

Positive side: Room was remodeled and clean. Checking in was easy. Be very careful when parking your car in the big open parking lot even though "they have security" my truck window was broken into last summer with an ice co freezer, jackery charging bank, and backpacking back pack. Security came over as another vehicle was broken into also and resort did nothing about it. Drove back to San Diego with a blown out window in 114 degree heat and -$2500 in items I couldn't carry in the room. Suggest valet parking if you stay here at least they will be in charge I'd assume if something happens to your vehicle. My family and I wanted to visit the Silverton Casino Aquarium to view all of the holiday decorations for the season! We also stopped inside the Bass Pro Shop since we were at the Silverton Casino! The Silverton Casino is located off of the I15 South and Blue Diamond. There is plenty of outside parking and a parking garage as well! We ended up parking in the parking garage as there was plenty of open spaces available! When we first walked into the casino, we found a team member at the Silverton Casino and asked where the Aquarium was located. We were provided directions and found the way over to the Silverton Aquarium. My family and I ended up shopping at the Bass Pro Shop for a little while until we ended up watching the 4:30 Stingray show at the Silverton Aquarium. It was very educational! The Aquarium was also decorated for Halloween. The Silverton Casino also has plenty of restaurants too! Some of those include the following Twin Creeks Mi Casa Grill Cantina Su Casa Sushi Sundance Grill WuHu Noodle Starbucks Johnny Rockets This is a beautiful hotel and casino! Perfect Day-cation. Newly renovated Swimmin Hole is the perfect getaway for locals. Monday-Thursday 21 and up locals pay $25 a person and you can sit anywhere that is not reserved. For $50 you can reserve a daybed which is located right in front of the pool. They have a great menu with food and drinks and the food is affordable. Parking is available in the parking garage for free and it's a short walk through the casino to the pool. They also have cabanas available for rent. Kids are not allowed at the pool with locals. Hotel guest are allowed to bring kids to the pool. Pool opens at 9am but the bar and food service doesn't start until 11am. Definitely check this pool out for a nice relaxing pool day. read more

It's one of the better casinos off the strip, you don't smell instant smoke when you walk in or through this casino. People are smoking but if it's not super packed inside you can't even tell. They have a big bar in the middle with lots of screens for all your sports needs. A variety of slots, tables, restaurants and food courts to chose from. We first arrived and the hostess asked if we had a reservation we said we did not ; she offered for us to sit at the bar area where it was open seating. We sat and waited for a server no one came so we decided to make a reservation. We made the reservation and we were then seated. Brielle was our server and she was very friendly.
