Durango Casino & Resort has always been on my list of places to visit ever since they opened. Their food court is a shining example of how you attract patrons with high quality food from Prince Street Pizza, the ever so popular Oyster Bar, Hawaiian Food, Sushi and Noodles. Even their restaurants such Mijo and Summer House all look wonderfully executed. The casino as a whole is well designed from the decor to the layout as it just feels really new and refined. Put Durango Casino on your must visit list as the food court alone is packed with so many good dining options that it will be hard to choose. read more

It's been a few months since I last visited Durango and oh my God, I was so sad to see what has been done to her. I understand there is a need for a second tower and more parking space but the garage sucks. For starters, the first floor is just valet. It makes it hard with my mom who uses a mobility scooter to get into elevators. Also, they put the good parking spots behind a pay wall so you have to walk quite a bit to get onto the elevators no matter what. The thing that bothered me the most is that they got rid of what made Durango so gorgeous and unique, which is the fact that it had a lot of natural light coming in through both types of the Casino's giant glass doors, now all of that is sealed off, making it look like a warehouse. Stay tuned, or at least check out a casino that was new to me. While out on the road we noticed a casino being Vegas we need to see what's happening here. Let's go in after some panning around our schedules. They have so much fun here with lots of food and drink choices . Food eateries that you have not been introducing too. They have two Vesta coffee places here. One in the front and the other in the main food court. Lots of good options for food. Yu or Me Sushi, how about that name? And a custom custard place. The heat of Vegas is coming . Let's stay cool . Are you looking to stay off the strip and for a few days they give discounts when you book extra days in a row. They offer natural lighting from the outdoors for the casino. The parking is free here and it's not clustered with all sorts of Las Vegas traffic. It's safer than the strip too. Close to all sorts of things to do and see! It's probably more locals focused and offers around two hundred rooms. This hotel still has that new smell, with fresh paint type of air. The gambling is on point . The sports book is all open ready for your bets. It's unique too comes connected to the George Restaurant and its features indoor and outdoor seating . Wow! And it's not even busy . Again they have a bar called Drink with indoor and outdoor seating too . The prices are lower than the ridiculous ones that's on the strip. Come out and see what's happening with a little slower part of Vegas . Play some table games or try your luck at something other digital game. The black jack tables are low at a ten dollar minimum. Love this local casino because it's close to our house, has the best music, good food court options, a nice pool and a small layout. This weekend we had a chance to stay in one of their rooms and enjoyed a nice, relaxing staycation. The room was big, clean and had great amenities. The pool was great, very chill and relaxing. We also had a chance to participate in their Rock Shot Bingo event on Friday night. This event is a must if anyone gets a chance to sign up and participate. The bingo event is basically a party with a dj, glow sticks, free alcohol and prizes. The cost is $35pp and you have to be on the lookout for this event. Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to getting a room again. read more

This review is for the hotel. I got an amazing deal on a suite during 2025 after Thanksgiving sale days. I made a reservation for my friend's birthday in May 2026. We did a two night staycation and didn't have to hire pet sitters. She and I live close to the Durango so we could just roll back home for pet duties. The suite is very nice and well equipped. I thought it would work out great for us to share the room as it has a guest powder room, and I brought some bedding from home so I could sleep on the couch. The couch was actually very comfortable. The issue though was noise in that part of the suite. There is a very active ice maker in the bar area and the A/C was very loud when it went on and off. You didn't hear those things in the master bedroom, however the noise was very apparent when in the front room watching TV. Other than that, the room was great. Unfortunately I have to talk about another negative. We ordered a room service breakfast one morning. It was really pretty bad! The scrambled eggs were a watery mush. The hash browns were a strange triangular brick that was hard as a hockey puck on the outside and flavorless on the inside. The toast was nothing special. There were a few bright spots...The bacon was good. The coffee was good. We added fresh OJ and that was good as well. I would stay here again. Maybe just book two standard rooms instead of the suite. I would not order room service breakfast again. The George serves breakfast which I'm sure would be much better! read more

Durango Casino & Resort is the newest casino and resort in the Las Vegas Southwest. Bright casino floor with friendly servers and bartenders, a plethora of restaurants in the 'Eat Your Heart Out' food court, nice sports book with outdoor seating to watch your favorite sports on the big screens while enjoying a beverage for happy hour. Even a speakeasy in one of the restaurants. I have been here multiple times and even enjoyed a few events in the banquet halls, our company holiday party and CPE training in the smaller rooms even catered by the resort staff. I find this casino unique in that you can see light through the north to south side of the casino. Most block out light, so you do not know what time it is. Lots of table games and the newest slot machines available. Will be back again to try other restaurants and watch a game or two on the patio. read more

Durango Resort has been a location we make time to visit when we're just arriving to Vegas or about to head home from Vegas. A great property that is considered a locals casino. This property has a lot of parking and many entrances for this casino. Durango has the Eat Your Heart Out food hall that offers solid options. There is the Oyster Bar brand here at this property and usually its not too busy. If you have never had "Oyster Bar" they are 24 hours and offer the best Pan Roasts! The food hall also has great coffee options from Vesta and a Prince Street Pizza. The gaming here offers affordable limits at the table games and video version of craps, blackjack and roulette. The sportsbook here is huge and well maintained! There's lots of seating inside and they have an outdoor area to watch sports too. Apparently, there is also at 24 hour restaurant by the sportsbook. This property is very chill and not very crowded the times we have visited. I had not stayed here before, but I like visiting the Durango during the few trips to Vegas we take each year. I like the brightness and the variety of restaurants at Durango. The slot floor has a great variety also. It's a polished casino, aesthetics wise. There are many bars with bartop gaming. Customer service is another story, at least in the High Limit slots room. I've played in here every few months since the casino opened. During my latest visit, I sat at the bar & the 2 bartenders served the few customers at the bar. I'm pretty sure they didn't serve those on the slot floor. This has been my experience most of the visits here. There was a lot of talking between the employees, both behind me and next to me at the bar. Awkward! I don't always have a drink when I'm in this room, but at least I'd expect the offer when playing on the slot floor. read more

If you ever go to the side bar at Durango next to Bel-Aire Lounge make sure you get your drinks from Kai. He's a one of a kind type of Mixologist. He creates the best cocktails hands down & is super friendly and chill. Sometimes he's in the bonus room and I feel like they they have better quality alcohols there, so it's your call where you go. There are other great bartenders there as well like David & Eddy if you get a chance to see them on their shifts. Honestly, it's a chill Bar tucked away from Oasis, which is in the center of the casino on the opposite side of the George and the sportsbook. read more

Let me begin with the hotel check in. I called hours in advance to see if early check-in is available. The front desk said no problem. We get to the hotel and the gentleman at the front desk said it's not available. They will text me when it's available. 45 minutes later no text messages. I go to the front desk and ask again and they tell me the same information again. Such poor customer service, poor communications from the employees. Two hours later we finally get a room. This is a Wednesday checkin...unbelievable! Plus there's no vip check-in unlike Redrock or Green Valley Hotel. We will never stay here again!!! Check out the photos. Durango is the newest casino in the Stations group. We frequent other Stations casinos like Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch, and Red Rock for craps every time we are in Vegas too. At some of the smaller or older casinos like the Gold Coast, the craps dealers are inexperienced and when we go there, it is always frustrating to have to not only watch out for your bets being placed correctly but also to make sure the dealers pay correctly. This is not an issue at Durango. And I don't know who the HR person is at the Durango but I need to send out a shout 'cause he/she has hired the most beautiful and bountiful waitresses in the desert. While that's a little distracting, I am still able to multitask and play my craps game. We have not stayed at any of the Station casinos but always rent a car so getting out to the Durango is not an issue. Since it is fairly new, it is clean and bright. We don't always win there but this is the case wherever you play. Check it out. read more

Durango Casino & Resort is now one of my favorite casinos in Las Vegas. Why? Because of the amazing layout of the casino! I had visited the Durango Casino & Resort on a Friday morning around 11:00 A.M. It was my first time at the casino, so I ended up parking in the parking garage. I took the elevator down and it dropped me right into the food court, which was awesome! There are a few places that I do want to try out inside the food court, but I actually was going to the Summer House for lunch instead! The floor layout at the Durango Casino & Resort is open. The Ceilings are high, which is great! It's so spacious and there is a lot of natural light in the casino. The way it was architected and designed is amazing! This casino recently opened in December of 2023! The casino floor has a wide range of slot machines, table games, and an awesome sports book that has double sided LED video wall. It also has approximately 200 seats for a immersive viewing experience! If you're looking for other amenities at the Durango Casino & Resort, there is a pool that has daybeds and cabanas. There is also a meeting and convention space at the casino too! If you're staying on site at one of the rooms, there is a fitness center, free parking, EV charging stations, and mobile check in! I do plan on coming back soon to the Durango Casino & Resort, specifically for the Food Hall. The Eat Your Heart Out Food Hall has over 11 different eateries! Some of the ones I do want to try out include the Hawaiian Ai Pono Café and Prince St. Pizza! Other restaurants include the following Mijo Modern Mexican Nicco's Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish Summer House (I had lunch here and it was such a wonderful experience!!! Thank you Alina for making my first visit a pleasurable one. She was so gracious, friendly, and professional. I'm not a big sports betting kind of guy and so hanging out at a place like this is out of the norm. The Caesar salad was decent and hit the spot. The vibe overall was great. There's also seating outside with even more large screen monitors for easy viewing. One thing I did witness is a local guy who had too much to drink and vape who not only couldn't pay his bill, but also got too friendly with a few local patrons, out of town customers (including my table), and two servers. I think the two servers had to endure at least 30 minutes of his bullshit including him getting a little too touchy with them. In my opinion, management took way too long before stepping in. These girls have a lot of stuff happening while needing to put on a smile whether they want to or not. Management, please take care of your girls better! If you want a great place to hang with your friends or special someone while watching your favorite sport, I highly recommend the sports bar area. Part of the Stations Casino (one of the largest local Las Vegas casino companies) family of casinos, Durango opened in late 2023, with 209 hotel rooms and a 83,000 square foot casino. It is located in Rhodes Ranch, about 10 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. It is named after the city in Colorado with the same name. We had a chance to stop in during our Las Vegas trip, and found it to be a good experience. There is plenty of open land around the casino, so it's pretty hard to miss. I don't remember a parking garage at Durango the last time we were here, since we always park on the vast parking lot around the casino. But this time, we gratefully parked in the shaded garage, out of the blazing Las Vegas sun. Check-in was easy with no wait on a Wednesday afternoon. We found the rooms to be modern, with a large bathroom with huge walk-in shower (no tub). The room controls are all automatic though the shades/curtains were manual. read more

The newest property off the Vegas Strip that's worth the trek. It's a beautiful resort that caters to locals and tourists that want a different type of trip when staying here. The food hall welcomes you and is one of the first things you see if you enter from the parking garage. The casino is spacious with machines and table games are spread out so you don't feel cramped. Their standard deluxe rooms are larger than most on the strip and have all the luxury amenities you'd expect and have neutral colors which are calming. The pool is just the right size for patrons to enjoy. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Perfect to dip into during the summer heat waves. Hi, We rented a daybed for 4th of July and had a lovely time until Durango let in a bunch of children at approximately 1800. We paid almost $800 to rent a day bed and have food and drinks for the day. I do not appreciate dropping that kind of money to have a preschool let in for fireworks. We could have stayed to see the fireworks but opted out for the the kindergarten and preschool class durango let in to make a buck. Up until then, it was a lovely time. Thanks a lot. read more

We've only been here a couple of times, and only to the casino and the food court, or food hall, or whatever it's called. Depending on how you enter the parking lot, the entrance to the parking garage can be a bit tricky. The signs help. But they lead you somewhere you don't expect, but they are right, so just follow them. And I highly recommend the parking garage if it's hot outside, as the elevators take you right to the food hall, which is basically the casino. Both times, we really enjoyed ourselves, although our time was limited. The casino is bright, mainly because it has windows! But it also feels a little industrial because most machines are in rows, almost like a grocery store. Being new, everything is crisp and sparkly clean. That also means a lack of old-school machines if you enjoy those. That also means most of the machines are highly volatile, making it difficult to stretch your budget. I did win during my first visit. The second visit wasn't as successful. Of course, it's all in the timing of when you leave. I did enjoy the high-limit room. The bar is very nice, and since it was slow, the bartender was also the server for the slots. It was 11 am when I was there, so I only wanted a Diet Coke, but I appreciated that it was a regular-sized glass, which you might get in a restaurant rather than what often lasts like two shots. On the way out, I noticed they had my favorite table games, High Card Flush, or I Love Suite Poker, or whatever name the casino calls it. Had I known, I probably would have played it instead of slots. It's a note for next time. The food hall was nice. Fairly standard from our perspective. A good assortment of food, so everyone will find something they like. It's not a destination food hall; it's just food for when you're at the resort. The people we interacted with in the casino were super friendly and helpful. The people at the food hall were OK. Not rude or anything, just there to do a job, and they did it well. We will go back here to play when we visit Vegas. However, we're not sure we'll ever stay here, as we usually stay either on the Strip or Downtown, where there is more variety, and this place is out of the way with not much around it, unless you want to go to IKEA, which has the best Swedish Meatballs. read more

Went again for 1 day biz trip, another great stay. Pool was a bit more cramped than imagined, it was spring break and a lot of the seats were reserved in that premium bullshit where you have to pay for being a hotel guest and swimming in your own pool. I get it got to make some Revenue but about 70% was roped off that's kind of absurd. Forgot to mention last time their variety of poker machines are out of this world and so fun to try. Since keep getting reamed at BJ I'm going to stick to these from now on they're just so much more fun to play as well with the different varieties. TAKING 1 star off because all my offers just disappeared literally overnight, and I was quoted $700...YES $700 for a weeknight room, beyond absurdly ridiculous. Beautiful resort casino in the growing SW corridor! I've had several business events here, at Bel-Aire Lounge and most recently, the Agave Ballroom. Very well- organized hotel with good signage and staff members throughout for questions. Food is yummy, with plentiful servings. Friendly and efficient service. Modern, clean, and good vibes. Highly recommend! FYI, the new parking garage outside of Bel-Aire lounge is now constructed, so I parked in front of the casino and it was a short walk to the ballrooms, which are next to Bel-Aire. read more

Good location if you want to explore the parks and hiking areas west of town and the price is better than staying on the strip. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were large. The Nespresso machine and fainting couch were a nice touch. I enjoyed the fitness room, it wasn't big but everything was new, good quality and it was empty most of the time. The pool was a disappointment as it was only open 11-5 and I had wanted to swim in the morning, but it is only a party pool with live DJs, lots of drinking, not for exercising. The casino floor and restaurants were pretty basic but there is a good selection of machines at various price points. On Tuesday Ladies night, we could hear the thumping of the music in in the lounge so wore noise cancelling ear buds to sleep. Not sure when the music ends but it was interesting that on Saturday night we didn't hear a thing. Our room was a Mountain View which was what we wanted but it was closer to the lounge so pick the other side if you are staying on a Tuesday and are a light sleeper. read more

We didn't stay at the Durango but we did come in to check it out and do a little bit of gambling. This place is absolutely gorgeous. When Stations does big, they do big. This place is decorated absolutely divinely and the layout is nice. I'm excited to see the final outcome once the other construction is finished. I really liked the bathrooms and the layout of the food court. The slot machines are a bit packed in and not the easiest to navigate, especially when dealing with people who aren't spatially aware or drunk. The only thing that I didn't like were the egress points. We parked in the lots in front of the property and had to walk quite a bit to get to an entrance that wasn't the entrance/host stand of a restaurant. Now, I'm sure I could have pulled a "who cares" and came in though one of these points but I'm not that person so I walked to an actual entrance. The sidewalk is a bit tight and we had to give way to quite a few people passing, which was odd. Maybe I'm just spoiled by GVR where there are many ways to enter and exit. I had an awesome night gambling and actually stayed much longer than I had anticipated. The slots are new and fun. The only problem I had was that I couldn't use my station app to fund my games. I don't know if it's an ongoing issue or a one of from that night but I guess I'll find out when we come back in. read more

This casino is off the strip, part of the Station Casino chain. The place is spacious and modern-looking, with plenty of fast food places to eat and sit-down restaurants. Unfortunately, the machines here are very tight. I didn't even have the opportunity to get excited about any win, however how small, cause the machine took my money in mere moments. No "you almost got the bonus" show on the slots, or you're up by $5. My $20 was there - and then it wasn't. Usually, the other Station Casinos I've been to allow me to play much longer on $20+ bucks before I decide to continue playing and lose all my money. And the worst part is, there's no Bingo! The hotel is very nice and new and the employees are professional. I have a couple complaints: -The menu prices online at the The George Restaurant do not match up with when you go to the restaurant itself. For example, the steak and eggs online price, including the STN App show they are $16. but when you go to the restaurant it's actually $5-$6 more like $21 or $22. This huge price discrepancy includes other dishes This must be intentionally done to rip people off. Update the online Menu prices on the STN App and website! -HAVE DRINKING FOUNTAINS- you're in the middle of the desert in one of the hottest places on earth in the summertime. You offer the small little water drinking bottles the size for an infant upon request at the bars. This is freaking ridiculous. and on top of it, you crank the heat in the winter time and it must be about 83° indoors just to add insult to injury. why won't you want your customers to be comfortable and nicely hydrated? -Overly zealous security. Now we all love security and to feel safe. That's unquestionable. But the security vibe is a little bit over the top and mildly obtrusive. when I'm at the hotel, I feel like I might be inside the White House or the capital. The dumbbell weights go up to 70lbs with 2 adjustable benches. There are various weight machines for legs, back, and shoulders. The cardio machines face out the window for a nice view. This casino is part of Station Casinos gaming and entertainment business. I found out that it is also part of the Red Rock Resort and Casino. You can use the same membership card at both locations. We stopped by for a quick visit and the casino is clean and the machines look pretty new. There are quite a few restaurants and a food hall here as well. We tried the Prince Street Pizza and I wrote a separate review for the pizza place. While I was there, I qualified for a free Vegas Golden Knights throw blanket. That was cool since I lost $$ there. This is a fun spot to visit and play while in Las Vegas! Until our next trip to the Ninth island! read more
