My family and I felt very judged, and honestly humiliated during one of the hardest things. Even the slightest bit of compassion would have been nice, even family that was here with me commented on how unprofessional and cold they seemed to be. I hope no one else has to feel this way. ESPECIALLY when your loved one is leaving home for the last time, just a little bit of compassion goes a long way, and we received none. Made me feel like I needed to apologize for the inconvenience. [ 385-206-8171 ] Humberto provided me with excellent customer service and proactively solved all of the concerns I was having with my new phone. 1. At another Metro store (on WA Blvd. near 2nd Street, Ogden), the customer service agent there (Alexander), was unable to install the screen protector without air-bubbles. Humberto was able to determine the screen protector was installed after the phone (case) protector was installed, and the phone protector (case), was pushing up on the screen protector -- which is what was causing the air-bubbles. The new phone I got is the Motorola Edge, with curved screen edges on both sides. Humberto took the time to reinstall the GorillaGlass (TM) screen protector, insuring there were no air-bubbles; at all. Humberto did what the other agent at the other Metro store seemed unwilling to do; customer service. 2. Humberto found a phone case (protector), which didn't push up on the screen protector as much; resolving the issue of air-bubbles that wouldn't go away. The phone case Humberto found, also had a kick-stand; which I wanted in the first place, but couldn't find at the other store. 3. At my request, Humberto also sold me a plastic screen protector; in case I have further concerns in the future with air-bubbles, etc. I wanted to do this, in case they become harder to find over time. I applaud Humberto's professionalism, and willingness to proactively identify the root cause of my concern; and provide a solution that actually worked. All in just a few minutes. I was in the store for no more than 10 minutes. I was very impressed with Humberto; professional, friendly, and has the skill set to solve problems -- not create them. I will not be going to any other Metro store in the area. I will only go to Humberto's store on 12th street. It's further away from home, but it's worth the extra drive time; to actually have my concerns addressed by someone passionate about helping their customers.

Every option was openly discussed (including all costs) and written down for us to take home to consider. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their costs were! No hidden fees or surprises either- in fact, just the opposite! He worked WITH US to brainstorm ways we could save money so we could stay within our budget. From the moment we walked in, it felt as though God gently guided us to this mortuary. The kindness, compassion, and attention to detail we received were beyond anything we could have hoped for during such an incredibly painful time. Ken Christiansen cared for our family, and especially for our mom, Debbie, with such patience, grace, and respect. The space itself was breathtaking. The artwork throughout the mortuary is truly incredible, and my mom looked like an angel as she lay before the most majestic mural. That image will stay with me forever. It brought a sense of peace in a moment when our hearts were breaking. I cannot recommend this mortuary highly enough. They made one of the hardest experiences of our lives gentler, and they cared for our mom in the most honorable, loving way imaginable. For that, we will always be grateful.

During the worst time of our lives someone recommended to us this mortuary company. In my opinion if your job is to meet people who are at their lowest and saddest time of their life, you would hope the person you meet with to have some empathy and decency to deal with families who are suffering at this time. James had neither. His sensitivity was nonexistent. While looking at the caskets he joked to my husband who had just lost his son that he should get the gold casket worth 40,000 for himself, among other insensitive comments. They printed the announcement with both burial and funeral services with the wrong times, even though he said he would be on call if we needed anything; he never answered or called back when we called to ask to fix the errors. The day of the burial they set up the tent and chairs at the wrong grave. After telling us we could come early to spend time with our son, they ware nowhere to be seen at our gravesite. My husband had to walk all the way to the other side of the cemetery, and had to tell them they were at the wrong spot. They set up as all family and friends watched. James called finally five days later to try to apologize by saying sorry that they set up at the wrong "hole." Yes, that is what he called my son's grave.
