This was amazing experience! It was so easy and honestly, I just took a nap pretty much every time. I had a sudden hearing loss in one of my ears, and in addition to the injections and steroids I wanted to also try hyperbaric. Was difficult to get into a traditional HBOT location because of my work schedule so O2 Be Well being mobile seemed perfect for me Talked to Brooks who was super willing to work around my schedule to get me in the chamber asap and started treatment the next day. I was referred to 02 Be Well through my doctor's office. From the first phone conversion to meeting Brooks I felt comfortable. The staff was super friendly and they made me so comfortable. It was felt like I was going to the spa! The space was so neat and clean and they even had a lavender eye mask and a blanket. I don't really have anything acute but know the power of oxygenation so I tried it 5 days in a row. I had 2 Mohs surgery done on my face on the same day to remove cancerous lesions. I had a 2 inch incision on my chin and a skin biopsy on the side of my nose. If you're exploring hyberbaric oxygen treatment, I highly recommend O2 Be Well! One morning I experienced sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) in one ear. I was very concerned and got in to see my MD that same day. The MD prescribed, in addition to prednisone, hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT). HBOT is relatively recently FDA approved for treating SSNHL so I began the process of researching and learning about my options. I found O2 Be Well and spoke with Brooks. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and compassion. He gave me some background on his experience treating SSNHL patients with HBOT and explained their typical process. I was amazed to learn how this works: they drive their van, which contains a hyberbaric oxygen chamber professionally installed inside, to your home or office. Over the course of a recommended 10-day course of treatment, you spend about 90 minutes each day breathing pure oxygen inside the chamber which is pressurized to 1.5ATA. It's incredibly convenient to have this treatment done at your house so you don't have to spend an hour or more a day driving to and from some hyberbaric chamber location! Over those 10 days with Brooks and Tiffany, I got to know them and learn a ton about HBOT and their experience treating different conditions, from SSNHL to surgical recovery to neuropathy. They are both wonderful folks with big hearts and very reassuring and encouraging manners. They suggested some other things I could try, such as some specific supplements, and even connected me with a another local HBOT resource to get another perspective on my treatment. I must admit I was initially hesitant about this whole thing: I'm not one of those people who buys into snake oil and rejects concepts like "clearing toxins" so I was a little on guard.
