I've tried a lot of recovery and wellness spots around Orange County and Culture OC is honestly in a league of its own. Culture OC is my first choice for where to receive hyperbaric oxygen treatments. The hyperbaric oxygen chamber at Culture OC is a solid chamber, so it can reach 2 atmospheres of pressure. This is what I wanted in order to maximize the healing effectiveness from hyperbaric oxygen treatments. I suffer from a miserable digestive disease called Ulcerative Colitis, and I was recently suffering from a flare. The hyperbaric oxygen treatments greatly improved my symptoms! I've visited other wellness centers, but few have had the variety of regenerative health products in their locations. Troy, the owner, is an absolute gem and has a true passion and interest in helping others. He is extremely knowledgeable about their offerings and thoroughly explains how each amenity works and what benefits to health it can provide you. He has the patience of a saint even with annoying eager clients (such as me) who have a never-ending number of questions for him. He ensures that there is always a relaxing and calming atmosphere with a great music playlist going. I signed up for a monthly membership, which allows full access to all current amenities as many times as you want. I've been coming ~4-5 days a week for about 6 weeks now, and I've regularly done the HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment), LightStim LED Bed, Infrared Sauna with Halo Salt therapy, and PEMF. Troy has also allowed me to try their Brain Tap device, a revolutionary device that helps with guided meditation. I've used this when using the PEMF pad. For a deeper dive into my experience: The HBOT machine here is medical grade with a hard chamber and very comfortable. Each session is ~ 90 minutes. I've found the HBOT extremely beneficial for improving some of my medical conditions. Troy provides a very cozy setting inside the machine with a comfy mattress and pillow... and even a fluffy blanket if you'd like. There is a bluetooth speaker inside, so you can listen to music, or watch tv on the tv he has above the machine. Troy introduced me to the LightStim LED Bed, which is FDA approved. It provides light energy to treat the entire body, and for me, it provides some of the deepest relaxation I've ever experienced. It helps reduce pain, increase blood circulation and delivers oxygen and nutrients to help heal. The bed is in a private room with very relaxing music playing, and the treatment is 40 minutes - 20 minutes face up and 20 minutes face down. I've noticed that it helps me sleep more deeply, rejuvenates and energizes me, and even improves my rosacea. Although Culture OC has two infrared saunas, I have only used the one that includes Halo Salt therapy at Troy's suggestion. It is up to an hour treatment, and the unit is equipped with bluetooth speakers that connect to your phone to play music, podcasts or whatever you'd like. I should note that it is in a private room that is always stocked with water and towels. Since it does get very hot in the sauna, there is a special nook encased in glass where you can keep your phone, so it doesn't overheat, which is a nice detail. Although Troy sets it up for you, there is also a control panel inside that you can use to increase/decrease the temperature or intensity of the infrared light. The Halo Salt Therapy is used in the first 20 minutes, and I've experienced improvement in my upper respiratory issues on the days I do this. There are many more treatments available now and some others will be coming soon, but I covered only the things that I've personally experienced. Culture OC is a welcome addition to Newport Beach and Orange County. Ive been coming here for a little over a month and it has already transformed my life in every positive way possible. The owner Troy is a hard working super knowledgeable gentleman who will go out of his way for his clients. All the staff members that I've met in particularly Tristan are all super professional and welcoming. I first went here to try the Oxygen Hyperbaric Chamber but during my visit Troy showed me all the other amazing services such as the Red light therapy bed, two different infrared saunas, a floating pod, a high quality PEMF mat, and my favorite now, whichis the cold plunge with breath work. I cannot say enough about this healing sanctuary. Troy, the owner, even though he had family of his own children, a wife and a family member going through surgery themselves. He still made it a point to come in extra early to ensure that I got into the oxygen chamber! His hyperbaric oxygen chamber is one of the few in the area that is a hard shell chamber which increases healing by 10 folds. I was healing from a plastic surgery on my face. My eyes had a bad reaction from the surgery and swelled shut. He walked me to my car with my family member because I couldn't see. He made sure to move other clients around so I was able to have every healing modality that I could use to increase my healing literally within hours of leaving the facility, my eye edema decreased. I found out I have decreased lymphatic flow in my face and going to his center started the process of true healing. If anyone has any questions about where they should have their treatment done don't look any further they do more than provide a service they treat you like their family. I was so fragile, anxiety ridden and scared, and they took me by the hand and walk me through every step of the way we're leaving my anxiety, educating me through the process and even checking on me weeks later!
