I am sure this place is gorgeous in mid April. We were traveling through the area so we went a bit early for spring flowers. I would love to go back at a later date. We saw a few different birds, lizards and squirrels. There's a super cute children's garden with a finger painting wall, a fairy town with a running toy train. The price was $15 per person and it seemed a bit pricey for such a small garden. Perhaps I would feel differently if there were more flowering gardens. I would love to come back again when there's more flowers and plants in bloom. There's a small gift shop and everything was fairly priced. I bought a book about birds and some magnets. The staff was very friendly and gave some good advice on where to spot birds and reptiles.

The kids loved venturing out into all of the different areas and playing. It kept them busy the whole time. Truly interactive and enjoyable. We have a 6 month old baby and she crawled around in their small play space for the smaller babies. I will say it did say to remove shoes but lots of bigger kids were just running wild through this space with their shoes on and it was a bit much so we didn't stay playing in there long for fear our little would get trampled. Nice to have an area for babies in theory, but without someone running the area it's just not being respected which again is more on the parents supervision (or lack there of). Overall a good experience and we could come back.

When arriving, we were welcomed warmly by the owners of the property. You can see right away that this is going to be a great time. There was a large outdoor movie screen and while there were some technical difficulties getting the screen set up, we were completely happy with every effort made and ultimately the movies were playing. The interior of the main building is a beautiful country/farm chic and is very well appointed. The young woman running the kitchen laid out an enormous spread that seemed never ending and included delicious subs, home made pasta salads, pizza and much more. Cold drinks were plentiful for lounging on the rocking chars at the front porch. The bar contains top shelf alcohol to rival any large liquor store. Side by sides and four wheeled vehicles were there for people to rove about the property and if you're lucky you might get a run at the bulldozer. While we didn't go to the shooting range on this occasion, we will be sure to go back and give it a go. At the end of the night one of our hosts put on a fireworks display that made us feel like we were at Epcot on a Saturday night and the crowd chanted our hosts name in wonder at each colorful display. Overall this was an amazing experience. Will definitely go again and can't wait to go back!

The quality level could easily rival that of the "big wigs" who come through Atlanta's major festivals. Furniture? Purses? Jewelry? Cookies? Dog toys? Paintings? Yup, all that and more, all handmade, just waiting for you to buy it (with a pretty sweet price to boot). Some of the shops also come out to sell, and you're lucky if it's an antique or vintage one that's out there - they cut me a few deals on spare jewelry parts to play with back at home! Oh but Athens and your painful parking, even during the day. I was a bit put off circling around to find parking and even worse for wear trying to locate food. I forgot that unless it's after 10pm, nothing in Athens is really open, and even then it's all liquor... I know for next time to bring some snacks with me.

Everyone under the age of three is free, adult have to pay to get in. Price varies, depending on what day of the week it is. You can go to their website and see the pricing. They open in the late afternoon around 5 PM. They close around 9:30 to 10 PM depending on the day. It's not shaded so be warned. it's a great place to bring young kids and even slightly older children. They have a small playground, a small area that's covered to eat. A food truck with funnel cakes and Oreos and corn dogs, but you can bring your own food and drinks. There's tons of cool, animated dinosaurs. When it starts getting dark, they light up, which is really nice but the catches in the summer the sunsets later so you gotta keep your kids up a little late. They have a little dance area. They have a train, a little go kart type thing and a bounce house. The extra stuff like the go kart and the train cost extra starting at five dollars a person so the price can add up. I ended up paying around $94 for three adult tickets and three train rides for adults on a Wednesday. The dinosaurs are animated or lit up. It's not huge and so it's a nice place to bring the kids because it's not overwhelming. It's in the parking lot at the mall of Georgia near the Belks. There is plenty of parking when we went, but it was a Wednesday, but I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends. I do think it's a touch price for what they offer but I think it's a fun event for young kids, especially. Everyone there is very nice. I'm not sure how clean the bounce houses that we did not go inside. The go-kart cart type dinosaurs were very fun to ride, but aren't the cleanest, but what is with little kids? Overall, my daughter had an amazing time and so for that, I would give it five stars. It's also really pretty at night when it lights up. I think it's an interesting experience that I would do again.

Had the baked Brie plate for eatin'. It was fantastic. Staff were busy, small delays getting things, but friendly service and we were NOT forgotten. Just a bit busy for a single person to run. What it lacked? Nothing as far as food or wine. However, it lacked the more majestic views of a mountain winery; also, they were out of sparkling water, so my wife's mocktail was unavailable. What it got right? The food, the wine, the decor (very comfy), proximity to us in the city. Only 1/2 way to the mountains for me.
