This museum has the absolute beeeeeest children's floor I've ever seen at any museum we've ever…read morebeen too! We could spend the entire day here easily. We have a two year old and we basically had to drag him out he wanted to stay there all day. There is soft play area where there's no shoes where the very little ones can crawl around and play with big pillows and soft sticks. There's a big yarn thing to climb on. There's a big water area for them to play with pipes and running water. There's a few big tables and pits with hundreds of legos, a book corner, and a big floor to ceiling interactive screen room which was amazing. There's also an outside area with rock walls and climbing areas. You can park your stroller at the start where there are bathrooms and hand washing area as well as a place to fill your water bottles. The museum itself was really nice with multiple floors of interesting topics from dinosaurs to space to an earthquake simulator. I think for those floors it's best to be 3-4 or older. Everything is still very stroller accessible!

If you are in the Dallas area visiting or local you should definitely come check out this museum…read more Great for family and date. Dinosaurs for the kids and man with culture and gems for the ladies. My favorite is definitely the gem collection- probably the most impressive gallery on display to any museum. I love how many unique pieces and how remarkable they are. The facility is modern with multiple floors dedicated to different categories from space/science, archeology, meteorology etc. For parking , street or private- both convenient.
