    My beautiful masterpiece

I had mommy/daughter day here for spring break and we had a great time. I initially spoke with Dawn, the owner, in regards to hosting a birthday party for myself but my plans changed. But we had such a great conversation that I thought I'd still come to this location and support her business. She was very informative on the paints and types of designs we could do and she took her time with us. We definitely had a great time yesterday and will certainly be back to do this again again. Attached are our fluid paintings we made. We can't wait to pick them up and hang them on our walls. My daughter also got a hat with some patch work put on it too.

    Family Fun!!!

We took our son to try the Hawaii Fluid Art experience because he saw our paintings and really wanted to try it for himself. He was nervous at first because he had never done fluid art before but the instructor made him feel comfortable and confident. He LOVED his canvas and cannot wait to pick it up. He has already asked to bring friends in the near future and we are definitely planning another family day at Hawaii Fluid Art Mansfield!

    Tumblers painting

Five stars for a great granddaughter and grandmother activity! My granddaughter did the tumbler and loved Dawn, her instructor! There are several different activities to choose from, so we can keep coming back! The gift shop items are amazing and reasonable. My granddaughter had a blast trying and finding the perfect hat and earrings, too!

How I wish there were more than five stars…read more In town visiting family from Wisconsin, Julie graciously allowed me to come into their gallery/shop Monday afternoon to look around. I have very rarely had such a good experience. She was insanely knowledgable about every item in the room, made me feel 100% welcomed, and had me not wanting to leave. I cannot wait to visit again.

When my wife…read moreand I rolled into Waxahachie late one Saturday afternoon and found nearly everything closed, we had no idea that we were walking into Webb Gallery during one of the only times all week when it isn't. The first thing you're likely to notice here is the dog. I hope you like playing with dogs, because the little black Boston terrier in this place is going to bring you toys and expect you to throw them. His little black body is going to blast and shake his way back and forth across the room the entire time you're there. He cares not for art. He cares for play. If you're at all like me, once you managed to lure the hyper little dog close enough to a wall to actually look at the art, you're going to be delighted. I've gone to contemporary art museums, trying to make myself a better person in some way, and spent the whole time trying to understand... anything... really. I read information about the artists and what they're trying to portray, and my brain makes a noise like "buh" and shuts down. Here, though, the art is simply delightful. When we went, there were sideshow posters and paintings like old tattoos. There were small pieces based on elaborate displays of bad puns and large moving displays made of toothpicks. There was cute jewelry like the silver necklace my wife bought with the pendant that just says "blah blah blah." Everything is fun and whimsical and punctuated by the excited grunts of a tiny dog dropping a Gumby toy at your feet. The owners seemed very happy to discuss any of the pieces with us, and knew all about the artists who had created the art. I think they stayed open longer just because we walked in when we did, and at no point did we seem rushed to get out. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our visit to Webb Gallery. If I ever find myself in the area on a slow weekend afternoon again, I will certainly be stopping in to see what's in their gallery next.

From now on, anytime we're visiting Sundance Square we'll definitely be stopping in. This will be a wonderful place to walk around after dining at the square. This is not your typical gallery. Tal, the owner, has a very eclectic collection of artwork, sculptures, and bronzes. When we there a Dr. Seuss exhibition was on display. It was very whimsical and comical. What an incredible treasure to have in downtown Fort Worth.

Milan Gallery celebrates artwork in a much more casual and colorful way, and that's something I really love! Owned and operated by Fort Worth locals (who have contributed several beautiful pieces on display), Milan is a smorgasbord of local, national, and international works of every medium you can think of. Paintings, sculptures, glass work, jewelry, prints, photographs... Id say it's mostly paintings, but in every style imaginable. Abstract works, photo-realistic, impressionist, classical, and more. My favorites are probably the works by Thomas Arvid (I just love wine! I also heard there is an 11 year waiting list for an original creation), Gregory Beck (his sculptures are absolutely gorgeous and so graceful. I love the human figure and his works are extremely elegant), and Ford Smith (he paints the most vibrant and whimsical landscapes). The Dr. Suess works are amazing, of course! M Milan Gallery has shows all the time, so just keep an eye on their website or facebook for upcoming exhibition information. The best part of Milan is that on most Friday and Saturday nights, there's an incredible pianist playing and Tal (the owner) is pouring wine! The staff here is so knowledgeable about the artists and make you feel like family. Tal and Kelly have been especially helpful and welcoming, which makes all the difference in a gallery experience. This is a definite Sundance Square treasure, and I plan to spend many an hour exploring Milan Gallery.

This is a small-scale art museum that showcases a few artists' work at a time. It is free of cost too, which makes this a must see. I went during the last day of Ben Willis' Candy Man exhibit and WOW was it cavity inducing. I like how they feature local creative minds, too. Organic, haha jkjk. But it's lovely seeing the variety of styles they rotate in each exhibition. The entire layout of the studio has several rooms around a tall, modern white space. It is visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The curators and owners of the space are very friendly and even offered us a refreshment while we were looking around. Of course, being an exhibition, every piece is for sale. Each artist even has an opening and closing event AKA party where you can definitely peruse the museum and potentially buy some artworks. I like the intimate dynamic as an outsider here to be able to mingle with the artist and surrounding community. You don't have to be a full-on art nerd to appreciate this quirky place! Outside, there's even a huge mural of a vortex-looking abstract ringed monstrosity done by the talented Hoxxoh which I dig so much! Go snap a photo with it before it goes away. So, parking is a tad tight here. I believe you have to fight over ~8 spots, so come here at an odd time and weekday and NOT during one of the events and you'll definitely be accommodated. Definitely come as the artists rotate! A super cool way to spend a day in the culture district while supporting the sweet Ft. Worth arts district.

I enjoyed walking around the Kaws sculpture, which faces the water outside. This review is mainly for the gift shop, which I love. It ranks high among all the museums I've been to in other, especially the museums in NYC (Whitney, MoMA, The Met). There were lots of my favorite artists represented in the shop, including Warhol, Basquiat and Haring. I ended up getting the Velvet Underground tote, a magnet and a bag of Gudetama chips, which made me laugh. It would have been easy to spend a lot more money in the shop, but I decided to take it easy (Haha). The service was really good, as I recall, and everything was reasonably priced. The people who work in this museum tend to be friendly and easygoing. Overall, 5/5. Highly recommended.

Miss Ginger Fox herself doesn't pressure you or watch you while you view her gallery which is great.
