Every time we go, we usually have Lesley and we love her! She's always so attentive and continues to check on you throughout the night. Tonight, we had a waitress that we've never seen before. She checked on us maybe 4 times while we were there and for the most part we had to get her attention. I went to speak with the manager about this and he neglected the complaint and kicked us out for not ordering anything. On top of this, we continued to order from the bar because the waitress sucked. The fire Marshall was there too because they continue to neglect capacity rules. On top of this, she gave me a tab of $117 and I paid, then she returned a receipt to show she charged my card $133 without my knowledge. The security then kicked us out. Pulled up to a parking lot in Bishop Arts District which is a good thing in that neighborhood because parking is a beast. I arrived before my group so I could not get a seat started. I waited in the car for 30min for my group to arrive. Once they did, we were seated. There staff were nice and gave us menus while we waited and we took photos in their entrance with the bush wall with angel wings. Once seated inside near the patio, we placed our order. We took note of the mandatory 18% gratuity on all groups of 5 or more at the top of the menus. Our waitress seemed new and had not tried much so she couldn't make recommendations. Our drinks came out first and the food in an appropriate time after. like I said, the drinks and food were delicious and the star of the show! The DJ played good music and definitely had us engaged. The building was up to code but gave me historic vibes were they didn't want to or can't make full renovations but it's a bar/grill and looks like a man decorated and not an interior designer. This is a restaurant/bar with a full menu and decent drink specials. I saw all the typical bar foods (fries, fried pickles, wings, burgers, etc.) PLUS main entrees. For kicks I ordered seared tilapia and orzo rice. It was decent... not terrible but also not great. The drinks are very reasonably priced and there are lots of tables if you are dining with a large party. Around 9pm it takes a turn into becoming an adults only bar scene. Had a reservation, they didn't ask probably because we didn't need one.....there weren't a lot of people here, surprising for a Friday......it took the waitress a while to take our drink order, my girlfriend ordered a Moscow mule with jalapeños that wasn't muddled so it tasted poorly until we muddled it ourselves......after the waitress finally took our food order, the food came out quickly and was actually quite delicious......when the bill came, I was SHOCKED, that on a party of 2, a 20% gratuity was added.......the menu said "gratuity of 20% will be added to tables of 5 or more parties"..........we absolutely believe she tried to sneak it in with the hopes of getting another $10 plus tip.....sketchy business practice so needless to say, despite living in Bishop Arts blocks from the restaurant, this was our first and last visit......honesty & integrity matters read more

Food's good as always. I've been coming here for years--even though I don't make it out as often anymore, this has always been one of my favorite spots. That said, the parking situation has definitely changed. It used to be open if you were dining at the restaurant, but when I pulled up today, I parked in a space that wasn't coned off (along with several other cars). When I came back out, a full valet setup had popped up. As I was backing out to leave, one of the valet drivers pulled up on me in what I assume was a customer's car and partially blocked me in. I rolled down my window, and he got out and told me I needed to get the F off this "private lot." I told him absolutely NOT and pulled right back into the space. We had a stare down before he sped off. I respect all parking rules and regulations but what was the purpose stepping out of the car like you're sizing me up? After he left, I walked around to see who was running the valet service--and of course, it's RP Valet. I'm very familiar with them and honestly, they're the worst of the worst. The first time here, the food was decent, and the staff was nice, but I have to agree with the other review .the way establishment is run has some opportunities. If you get there early enough, you can park in the spaces designated for the restaurant, but they are limited, so you may have to use street parking nearby. When I walked in, I was on the side by the bar and the restroom, and there was no one to greet me. I had to walk to the other side of the bar to ask if I sat myself or if they sat me. They advised that I could sit where I wanted. I picked a both by a TV. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes later, Leslie came by and gave us waters and menus. I was waiting for a friend, so I ordered the basic nachos that were light on black beans, but everything else was well proportioned, and I wanted a frozen drink but they did not have all the ingredients so I ended up getting a well tequila so I could enjoy their happy hour. When my friend got there we ordered our entrees. I got the salmon sandwich, it was heavy on veggies but the salmon was cooked well and decent sized. My side was fried pickles. They were pretty good but could have been seasoned more for me. My kid got mac and cheese with chicken it was also a very large portion, and my friend got fried shrimp and fries. She enjoyed her meal as well. Would I go again? Yes, probably, but it might not be my first choice. read more

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and while my server was excellent, I did not like the overall experience. We were advised to seat ourselves and literally waited 12 mins before we saw someone to place an order. While the restaurant seems to be a local favorite, they need to hire more staff. In the end, I was just okay with my order of 8 buffalo wings. In addition, I ordered a house salad, which was good. I want to go on record to say that I think the restaurant is typically operates at a much higher quality based on what I've heard, however I can only share what I experience. Before this place was a real good place to go eat and drink. Then all of a sudden the prices went way up and happy hour food and drinks were changed. Then the waitresses started to wear like almost nothing. And the ambiance is not the same anymore. Also we used to see the same people going there, but not anymore. The owner is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I've been coming here for over 5 years. I ordered my usual buffalo chicken Mac n cheese but I decided to get grilled chicken instead of buffalo. It was bland. I tried putting seasoning in it and still did not like it. I asked if it was ok to substitute wings instead if not I don't mind paying for what I ordered and wanted the wings also. The owner came to my table (of 6) and let me know that I could not order anything thing else because I may not like that as well. We came here for an after work get together. It was one of the only places in the area that is open late. The place is loud and good for a fun night out with friends. They play a variety of rap/hip hop and latin music. The food is good, just your typical bar food. I had fried pickles and the 303 Cheeseburger. Everything tasted good. Service was pretty good as well, our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the price of alcohol. I get that there is inflation but $10.50 shots ? Umm no thanks. We came here on Christmas Eve early around 3:30pm. The place was busy. They closed the kitchen at 4pm. We were lucky. We were greeted immediately and service was great ! For those who enjoy cocktails, they celebrate happy hour 11-7 and have brunch specials. I had the southwestern chicken wrap (chicken, avocado, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and a spicy sauce). . It was tasty. It came with fries. Yummy too! Husband had the bacon cheeseburger with fries . He loved his too. Despite the service being acceptable, How do spots run so poorly stay open? Three out of our four food orders were incorrect & definitely underserved portions on their apps. I would say the only time worth coming is at 6:45 during the week to order happy hour drinks, then at 7pm partial food items are discounted. Otherwise would never return. read more

We didn't have to wait long for a server, which surprised me; the place was pretty busy and in my experience, usually there's a bit of overlooking the outdoor seating area at many other places (but not always!) I first ordered a Tajin Bae; it was sweet and kinda tropical: my kinda libation! It came quickly which was also appreciated. My second drink was a Mexican Candy; also yummy but not my favorite as it was a wee bit too sour for me - but I still enjoyed it plenty! Great lunch offerings in a great location. Our server, Christie, did the best she could having a large number of tables assigned during lunch on our visit. The kitchen isn't fast moving either....therefore, if you are in a time crunch, grab lunch elsewhere. Now on to the food: admittedly lunch here is good. The lunch menu features 20+items from the usually fare of salads, wraps, sandwiches and plates too. I've come during the week and on weekends. The food arrived hot and totally delicious, 3 stars! It's been a min since I've reviewed 303 and I can honestly say they haven't really changed. Menu items have been updated and the chicken with lemon sauce is still phenomenal. It's not served with asparagus, they use broccoli instead. I also noticed that prices have increase by 2 or 3 dollar. Even with the increase they are cheaper then some of the neighboring eateries in Bishop. My only complaint would be that the appetizers are priced the same as an entree. I really wanted an small appetizer. The only thing I can think of is they are probably the size of an entree. I've been going here 3 years strong and don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

We ate here for brunch today, had never been before. There were good things and some not so good things. Good. Very nice, attentive waitress. Decent food, not fabulous. Started of with some good tiny muffins and real butter. Would have been nice to get some bread plates. Coffee came, pretty good, fresh, but a bit acidic-probably the brand, but non dairy creamer only!?? No half and half, just chemicals. Salmon frittata was good and huge. I wish I'd asked them to hold the spinach which had that iron on teeth feeling. My friend's chicken and waffles was also good, not the best I have tasted.
