The shop keeper was at the register, maybe doing some paperwork. She was occupied and very quiet. Her store was very cute and I spent a lot of time looking at the earrings. I was trying to see if there was something I couldn't live without. I believe they were sterling silver and all around $18 each. There were bars of soap for men and women, earrings, candles... the kitchen towels with the clever sayings had me cracking up. I had to get one! After looking around the shop, I got to say hello and speak with the shop keeper. She was very sweet and pleasant. I liked that I was able to do a mobile payment. It made checking out fast & easy! On the weekends or during Downtown events, parking can be nearly impossible, but there is a small parking lot around the corner. I could easily spend the day out here going inside of every shop and picking at least one place to eat. There is plenty of popular eateries to choose from... that will leave you making the difficult decision of trying to pick where to eat!

Because of Covid-19 we really researched the Murphy Cabinet bed we wanted. So we knew what we…read morewanted and also how much we were willing to pay. Another local bed store sells the same brand we were looking for but was on the high side. Then we called the Sleep Shop. They had the brand we wanted AND at right price. We concluded the purchase of our cabinet bed all by phone. We paid by credit card and were told by Devon we'd get a receipt from one of the delivery guys. Which we did. Personable SERVICE ended then! On the day of delivery (mid morning) we decided to call The Sleep Shop to see if we could get a time frame for delivery since we were not given one. I also asked if the cabinet bed needed to be put together or would it be fully assembled before delivery? Devon not only didn't know these bits of necessary information but conveyed to me in a 'very annoyed' tone of voice that he either didn't care or was too busy to check. The two delivery guys did call us 1/2 hour ahead of arrival..BUT had to be reminded by my husband to please 'mask up' but otherwise they were very nice. The Cabinet bed is perfectly beautiful! But we would not recommend The Sleep Shop because of 'after service' attitude. Sometimes it's better to pay more for BETTER service! (3 stars for the Cabinet bed NOT the service)

Currently on hold with the manager because they're refusing to honor my 90 yr old mother's warranty…read moreuntil she climbs under her sectional to take a picture of the non-working motor!! Absolutely disgusting way to treat disabled customers!!! After the manager picked up the phone and put it back on hold repeatedly, he hung up on me. I called customer service and was able to talk to the service provider myself, they were able to help! Obviously the store associates don't care about customers beyond their sales numbers. I was raised to have integrity, so I don't understand their lack of empathy. Bunch of greedy, slimeball salesmen!

We were still led to mid price ranged couches, got stopped and spoken to about the couches, and then the salesman added himself to the group and walked around with us despite me saying "we'll find you if we need to." I saw this going on with other customers, and I see it in other reviews. Selection wise, I had done online shopping and seen some of the exact same couches on Amazon for hundreds of dollars cheaper. I'd question how the store is still in business if they didn't up mark what they sell like crazy. I am a salesman myself and do quite well. I assure whatever management may read this, your approach sucks and needs to be changed. You're creeping out potential customers, I'd have been fine with a price difference if I could have gotten the couch same day and didn't deal with a creepy sales approach, I just wanted to get out of there. I'm giving two stars because the place looked pretty cool and was clean. To others who read this, check Facebook Marketplace for free furniture. I got a leather 3 seater couch and loveseat set for free in like new condition.

The store was very clean and the prices are very competitive. I would 10/10 recommend this shopping experience to everyone looking for a mattress. We had our in laws and 3 year old son with us and Kari and the staff were so patient and accommodating. We wound up getting 2 mattresses and some pillows. I didn't realize how much of a difference a good mattress makes. Our last mattress was a mid range box mattress from Costco and once we switched, our back problems went away. It's amazing. We live in Rocklin but drove to Auburn because we saw such great reviews on this location and I'm so glad we did!
