It appears Crunch Fitness customers are taking most of the spots making it difficult to find parking for those interested in the other shops and restaurants. Perhaps each shop should have some reserved spots? Also, what is the deal with the EV chargers? It seems none of them work anymore. Is is unclear if there is a plan to replace or fix them. J1772 EV charging is an important factor for where I choose to shop.

As you develop more housing, you need more commercial areas to support it. What's it all mean? You plan and build a shopping center with practical anchor stores like a Safeway and a Petco. Then you add a variety of shops and eateries. Have things a short distance from housing, and locate it on a major roadway. Bring in fresh, new businesses and restaurants. Use bright decor and fresh designs. Result....people will want to come here. Word of mouth is the best advertising. You build it, and they will come! Support Local Business!

This mall has so many jewelry stores, it's crazy! there's even a barber shop for men on first floor which was different. There's a JC Penny here and like walking around bring back old memories of stores I grew up with with Spenser, Sweet Factory store for sour patch kids candy, Hallmark, and life uniforms. I felt their food court had a strange layout as on first floor all their sweets where there and 2 main food places sushi and newly open Mexican in the mall. I know outside has the yummy BJs and Fusion Buffet. Yes, nice mall to visit and they have a Macys here with the perfume dept working the floor very hard. Perfume is quite expensive!

Encina Grande is my shopping center. I grew up going to this shopping center. I believe it was…read moreWoolworth back then that had all the penny candies. By my era I believe it was 25 cents for the lemon heads and baked beans. They even had the candy cigarettes which were fun. None of us snakes, but we wanted to look cool so we bought them and puffed out candy smoke. Back then I used to cross stitch and they sold floss for 10 cents a bundle. Now Woolworth is gone, the space had been divided up. There is the expensive bike shop that my parents got their cruisers at. Those things are so heavy and sadly they stopped riding then do they just sit in the living room. They were so expensive that they don't want to just give them away. The Mexican restaurant is a little in the pricy side, but it's good so we eat there sometimes. They have a frozen yogurt place where you can put as many toppings on as you like, but it's charged by the pound so just be careful as it adds up. We usually walk out if there spending $20. Way too much for dessert. My favorite flavor is tart and I love the fresh berries on top. I want to check the chicken place out. They have an advertisement on their window for a salad that looks so good . Chase bank is located here. I believe it's Pet Smart that's in this shopping center. They are huge and have a good variety.

So, Countrywood Shopping Center is just the quintessential suburban shopping plaza, with ample parking and shops that focus more on needs than wants. In my opinion, it houses the best Safeway, CVS and Starbucks ( omg the fountains and deck outside that location pretty much makes it the best Starbucks of all time!) As far as places to eat, the focus is on "family casual" with joints like Black Bear diner and Panera. I like this particular Jamba Juice since it has a better parking situation than the downtown location, although its nearly always super busy! Overall, decent parking and a convenient place to stop for my weekly errands.
