However, my experience with the staff, particularly Collette, was disappointing. After my exam, I worked with Collette to try on frames for my low prescription. I found a pair I liked but decided to hold off until I felt better and could return with a second opinion. Collette made a subtle remark under her breath about hoping the frames would still be there, which struck me as unnecessary. Two days later, she called to ask if I was coming back for the frames. When I explained that I was still deciding and had requested a copy of my prescription, her tone noticeably shifted. She sounded curt and dismissive, and told me getting my prescription wasn't her department, even though the front desk is only steps away. When I later called back for an update, she answered again and was just as dismissive. I didn't feel confident my request would be followed through, and asked to speak with someone else. Her response made it clear that helping me was a burden. Ultimately, I had to make a third contact and visit the office in person to get my prescription. Even then, it wasn't signed by the doctor, and no one, including Collette, acknowledged the confusion or offered an apology. I've worked in customer service and wouldn't speak to any customer the way I was spoken to. I expected more from an office with such strong reviews and designer branding. Wasted $8000.00 I had light adjustable lens implanted in…read moreboth eyes. The first light adjustment brought GREAT vision. After an examination Dr. Lam told me 'your vision is pretty good but we will fine tune it'. This was the downfall of my vision. After the second adjustment my vision was completely different. The distance and reading vision did not match as before. We did a third adjustment and the results were different again. The distance vision was good and matched. I had little intermediate vision and poor reading vision. At this point I could do a fourth adjustment but had no guarantee of improved results. I decided to do the lock in knowing that at least my distance would be good. When I told DR. Lam that the first adjustment was the best, he snapped at me and said it was do to it being a new lens. This was an expensive folly and I was the recipient of the joke
