This business engaged in deceptive and misleading practices. I received a mailer clearly stating that I had won $500 and a 60" TV. I called and spoke with their sales associate Spencer and this was confirmed via a recorded phone conversation that I still have as proof of their dishonest practices to get potential customers in their door for a sale. After driving 30 minutes to their location, I was told by Spencer and Mr. Green that I had not won those prizes. The advertisement was plainly misleading and appears to be a tactic to bring people through the door under false pretenses. This reflects a serious lack of honesty, integrity, and transparency. I bought a truck on 7/10, done a yelp review under jerrybob that you can read,1 star review on 8 1/2 hours at dealer buying truck. Happy with deal, and didn't complain while waiting. Now this morning get a call from Salesforce wanting me to take down review. I refused, it was factual and to the point. After call ,got text from salesman. Then got called from financial manager, wanting to know the problem,told her I was pretty happy and no problem with deal,it was a little higher than quoted,but they put on new brakes and tires without charging,so I was satisfied with everything. Called about a used Nissan frontier,on 7/9 , was told to be at dealer 7/10 by 9 am. Drove truck, decided to get it. Was told they would detail it. At 12 pm ,told needed brakes and tires,so tires was ordered and to be delivered in 2 hours. 2 pm,no tires,3 pm no tires, finally got maintenance supervisor at 4 pm, he had them hunt tires and put them on. Service has been a bad experience for me...I towed my car there as it's under warranty and work that needs to be done is covered. After reaching out it was told the warranty won't cover the whole cost so they had to reach out to underwriting....I understand it being a holiday weekend but I've been without my car for 4 days and they started working on it today....I have to wait until a camera comes to be replaced even though I told them twice it was doing it and I get told they cleared out the code and didn't even tell me they cleared it out they told me there was nothing wrong and they couldn't find nothing ...now when I bring it in they said the camera is bad it's been like that for 2 years now and they didn't fix it.... They sent out a mail-out lottery type ticket that clearly looked like we "won" 5,000 cash. After driving an hour in they asked me what we drove and noticed we had nice vehicles already. They then proceeded to say the number at the bottom of my ticket needed to match their board. The board had select numbers and then a note that said * all other numbers get a pair of headphones. This wouldn't of been a big deal if my wife hadn't called to verify that we won. They just said yeah you won, they could've asked the number at the bottom of the ticket and informed us we won a 6$ pair of headphones. I asked the salesman what vehicle would suit my plans. I I was told the vehicle would pull a teardrop trailer. I went to start a possible purchase. I knew exactly what I could afford on disability income. They came back with a monthly payment that was $300 more than I could afford and a dollar amount for my trade in was 3K less than I was promised. I got up and went to my car. They had my keys! No one would get them for me! Four men stood next to my car promising to make a better deal. I felt trapped. It was very hot outside! So I went in to see inside to listen. They gave me a little more for my car and and I now struggle to make the car more easy month! My wife bought a Nissan Murano last year. When we purchased it, there were several small pock marks on the hood which the salesman promised to repair the hood. The repair was to order her a bottle of paint to repair it ourselves. Two months later, the touch up paint arrived. However, the paint did not match leaving black dots all over the hood. After some communication, the sales manager agreed to repaint the hood. What was promised before and told afterward was that the entire hood was removed and repainted. The reality is that the hood never left the car. There was tape residue left behind and areas of the paint that were obviously not quite right. Here it is a year later and the pock marks are back just like before. The deal went sour because of lie upon lie. I attempted to purchase a car from these scammers. The price they quoted was over $5,000 more than MSRP and the actual window sticker published by Nissan. After going around with them for a bit (the original explanation was the extra $5k was for a "technology package" included in the sticker price), they admitted that a nearly $5,000 charge was for "Marketing Margin" and was nothing but pure profit. Rondel Wilson attempted to explain the laws of supply and demand to an economics teacher and attorney and stated every other dealer was charging $8-10k extra. When we first moved to Knoxville, we had two Nissans: a Murano and a Frontier Pickup. I've always believed it to be important to have my vehicles serviced by a certified dealer who sells and services the brands I drive. I started going to a Nissan dealership (that I choose not to name) on Kingston Pike, but after a change of owners, the service department quickly declined in service, promptness, courtesy and incentives. We switched to Oakridge Nissan and the first visit had me hooked. The service adviser who I met when I walked in the door, Darrell, was friendly, knowledgeable, concerned and courteous. Since then, each time I go in for service, I only deal with him because he is a true ambassador for the dealership. On one particular occasion, he even gave me his personal phone number so that I could follow up with him after a particular service. On two occasions, my vehicles required servicing that took most of the day. On each of those occasions, I was given a rental car to use free of charge. Oakridge Nissan also has a loyalty points program where you gain cash credits that can be used whenever you go in for service. As a result, My most recent service, I cashed in on some of those points which reduced my final bill by nearly $75. Even though this business is about an 18 mile drive from my house vs. the former dealership which is closer, it does me no good if they are not reliable and honest. The walking in and out, getting the manager to come in and try to confuse and twist the fact I am trying to get the final price of the kicks, to asking me about monthly payments I can afford. I take the car back and the shop manager has me drive a2024 Sentra. I said ok I'll drive it but this is not my car and anything I feel in this car isn't going to be the same as my car. It had different tires in size and everything. Shop manager and service manager says there is nothing they can do. They refuse to fix the issue. I call Nissan cus affairs and they are zero hep. I call Hankook and they said that the flat spotting was from improper storage or car sat still to long that the issue fell on Nissan or the dealer. ALL I WANT IS A SMOOH RIDE. We loved our leased Rogue and we were very happy with that whole lease experience but, we had the worst experience we have ever had as we sought and bought a car. They met us at our car and never gave us a chance to even think and kept us for over three hours until we were worn down and starving and exhausted. We could not be more disappointed in a place who has the potential to be an asset to their community or in us for allowing ourselves to trust that these people were interested in good faith and fair trade. The 2019 car was suppose to be paid off by Oak Ridge Nissan when I sent them the letter from gap on March 18, 2020. It is now May and I get a call from a collections company saying my car was never paid off and now it's on my credit and I'm collections. I try to go to Oak Ridge Nissan on Saturday to get this fixed and was told to come back Monday. I returned on Monday to sit in the lobby for over 45 minutes because no one was available to help me. Now I can't drive my BRAND NEW CAR for over a week because they had to order parts.. the car had 7 MILES on it when I drove it off the lot. I understand that they can't control what happened to the car, but the situation could have been handled differently. I was given a rental that wasn't even superior to the car I bought. They were horrible when it came to customer service. I was treated like I was scum (Brian).They would not replace my car, give me back my old car, void the loan or give me any incentives.. Finally, after multiple phone calls (that they did not answer or return) and 5 trips to the dealer later, I finally spoke to the GM and all he offered me was $600 for the "inconvenience" of not being able to drive my car that I just bought for over a week! I went to have my transmission checked out. The service manager told me it was fine, but I needed my brake switch replaced. I asked if it was covered under my extended warranty. He said no because it had nothing to do with the transmission. Later in the conversation, I asked him why my transmission was slipping and why I wasn't getting any power when I pressed all the way down on the accelerator. He said the brake pedal switch could be causing the transmission issues! I may not know much about cars, but I certainly know when someone is contradicting themselves. He flat out lied to me. I would never use this service department again! I also was getting a cranking noise when I turned the car( both directions). He said they tightened some lug bolts on the front axil and the problem was solved. As soon as I turned out of the parking lot, I heard the noise. They didn't fix anything. One last thing, my air conditioner is now making a new noise which was not there when I brought it in. Contacted customer service at the USA corporate office. Well, as unfortunate as it is to write this, we have decided to share our experience. First we returned to Oak Ridge Nissan for one reason - Tim Cox. We bought from him before and he is friendly, helpful and considerate. We bought again through Tim. We initially bought a Sentra, which did not work for us due to the getting in and out of the car. So Tim helped us get a Kicks. That's the good part. During the exchange of the Sentra and the Kicks, we had to go through finance again. Gary Beeler was helpful with the Sentra, however, with the Kicks we decided against the "extended warranty". Gary got red faced, irritable with us and pressured us to keep the extended warranty. He then went back to his nice self. Now for the issue: We are moving and even though the "Extended Warranty is accepted everywhere, the "maintenance/service contract we also purchased is not accepted at other dealerships. The ONLY way we can get a maintenance/service contract is to purchase an extended warranty at that particular dealership. We are looking to move out of state. Therefore, we asked for the "extended warranty" to be refunded and the maintenance/service contract, so wherever we end up, we can buy an extended warranty and service. NOTE: If we could have bought just a maintenance/service contract, we gladly would have kept the extended warranty with Oak Ridge, that is NOT an option anywhere. We called Gary Beeler who did nothing but argue with us, rude, nasty, and hung up on us TWICE. We told him we were on our way to the dealership. When we got there, he was nowhere to be found. We were met with Tim Cox, who was loud, rude and acting like he NEVER has with us before. Gary Beeler wasn't there. Tim argued with us initially until he understood why we needed to cancel. Tim then went back to his nice self with us. We asked why Gary and Tim were getting so upset, with no answers. All we can assume is they lose money by us canceling. We called to speak with the General Sales Manager to see why this issue caused such rudeness to happen. We were told the General Sales Manager was busy and would call back. WELL, a week+ we have NOT heard from the Sales Manager. We are guessing the rudeness stems from the top about warranties and that is why Tim reacted with us the way he did. Gary, not sure, he was nice as long as we agreed to purchase what he suggested, otherwise got mad. After all this, we still would buy from Tim Cox, but the treatment was uncalled for and all we want is to understand why our "need" to cancel the extended warranty and "service/maintenance resulted in being treated extremely poorly. read more

3 minutes ago I usually have had great service at Oak Ridge Nissan, but after taking my car 3 maybe it's 4 times to get my high beam sensor/camera adjusted and still not fixed. The story goes, I had the windshield replaced and after that the auto-high beam dimming wouldn't work. The first trip was for the scheduled oil change, but I had asked them to check the issue, they told me it was fine. Well, I drove at night again, and NO it was not fine. So, made another appointment, waited about an hour only to have them tell me it was fine and handed me a paper they printed off the internet on how to use the brights. Really?!?! I then contacted the windshield people, who sent a tech out the very next day rechecked and said he didn't know how it worked and didn't want to mess up the warranty or anything but wanted to totally change the windshield again, even though there was nothing wrong with the windshield. I then called Nissan, explained that and was told after the new windshield was installed call and they would fix it. Oh Yeah I forgot, they had to call their service tech 800 number place to find out if what I was telling them was true and found out I was correct in how it worked and then they were given instructions on how to fix it. So, today I dropped my car off, after they said they would take me to work and pick me up and low and behold no one was at my work place to pick me up and they called at the pick up time and said "what time did you need us to get you and oh by the way we weren't able to get to your car (they had it since 9:30am now it was 3:30pm) because the guy who was suppose to work on it didn't come it. This is a long story because I have had to go through so much crap to try to get this fixed. I feel I've been very patient and so today when I got back to drop the driver off I didn't want to go in and the young man came out holding yet more printed off instructions and who knows what else to explain to me what needed to be done, I told them I was done working with them, they treated me like I had nothing between my ears and I do have a brain! I had already called Ted Russell Nissan, talked with their service guy and have an appointment with them to fix my vehicle. I will NEVER use the service department at Oak Ridge again. My time is just as valuable as theirs and the amount of hours they had my vehicle was enough time to replace a whole engine. read more
