We used to go to kindred pediatric dentist and they were trying to give my son another cavity fixing, I came to Dr.Lee and he noticed that it was just shadow and my son did not need another cavity to be covered. Kindred pediatric unfortunately wasn't trustworthy especially since we were paying cash every visit. We visited at least 5x unfortunately I feel like kindred failed us. Dr. Lee is a safe space for my kids and my family, and my children are very excited when they go there.

Four days before my appointment, the office called trying to cancel and move me to another day. When I said that wouldn't work, they called back an hour later saying they'd "fit me in" at 7:30 a.m. I showed up 20 minutes early, ready to go -- only to be greeted by a rude, short-tempered receptionist who acted like she hated her job. After spending 20 minutes filling out paperwork, she calls me back up to the counter and tells me it'll be $650 to over $1,000 -- even though the dentist hadn't even seen me yet. When I asked why this wasn't mentioned earlier, she snapped, "You should know what your insurance covers." She hadn't even asked for my insurance card yet! Then she tossed a flyer on the counter and told me to scan it to apply for some "medical credit card." The attitude was unbelievable. I also overheard another patient frustrated about a $150 cancellation fee, even though the office had just cancelled his appointment last minute. At that point, I walked out. I wasn't about to hand over hundreds of dollars to an office that can't communicate with basic respect. Dental work is stressful enough -- you shouldn't have to deal with rude front-desk staff, hidden costs, and zero professionalism. Save yourself the headache. Find a dentist that values transparency, communication, and respect. This place clearly doesn't.

What a surprise! First, Dr. Silberman explained every step of what he intended to do and was so kind and gentle. Not one thing hurt! Not even one twinge of pain and the bridge was not damaged!! Dr. Fowler is a straight shooter, no pun intended, he walked me through the entire process, asked me if I had any questions, and or concerns, and I said, what about the pain... He assured me, "I Got You", if you feel ANY pain, just raise your left hand and we'll adjust as needed... He numbed me up and just told me to relax, because he saw me tensing up when the needles came out, HOWEVER, there was no pain during the numbing process... I raised my hand ONCE, he adjusted, I didn't have any concerns and he finished like the professional that he is... I had zero pain when I left his office, I actually went out to eat directly after I left his office... I picked up my medication and took it as prescribed and had zero pain since ... It was my first time experiencing such excruciating tooth pain and I was naturally scared and anxious because I had never had a root canal done before. When I came to MVE, they were running late as the patient before me had complications. I had another place to be right after because I needed to sing for a previously scheduled event. Luckily, the lovely Minna Chun (who is no longer at MVE) assisted me, listened to my concerns, and had me out by the dental office in time for my singing gig! During the root canal, I was surprisingly relaxed and it was quicker than I thought! I was very surprised that we were able to get a consultation appointment the very next day. The staff was very nice and friendly. Dr Silvers was going to try to do a partial root canal since my son is young, but she ended up having to do a full one because of the way his teeth are. He was having a problem with getting numbed and she had to redo it 4 times... through no fault of hers, its because his roots were so long. Each time he would flinch or say it hurt she would stop working, give it another try and wait. She was very patient and never seemed to be annoyed or anything like that. I really like that during the consultation and the actual appointment she talked to both of us. With him being a kid some Dr's and Dentists tend to speak to only me, or on the rare occasion only to him, as if I were only there to provide a ride for him! She addressed our questions and concerns and was very thorough when explaining things. She was very respectful to both of us, while being nice and humorous as well! I figured I would have to wait in the tiny waiting room while they did the procedure, but I got to go back with him.
