This is the second year I have used this business to inspect and clean our wood burning stove and chimney.last year I called them (randomly) as my previous chimney contractor could not come out until December (we had been their customer for 4 years and the lady we purchased our home from used them for many years as well) Mark made time to come out and service our wood burning stove before winter set in. He was efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, cleaned up afterwards and all around pleasant. He replaced some of the firebricks (no charge) told me to order the firebricks that go at the top of the stove and her would install for me at our next cleaning (today) and again no charge to install them for me. I don't think he is the least expensive but definitely not the most expensive, (charges less than our previous contractor) Mark's dad normally takes calls and makes the appointments (he is older and very nice to talk to) I would definitely recommend Mark and his dad, great people to do business with! Mark from Oakenshield cleaned our fireplaces today. He arrived right on time, and charge the exact quote that I received over the phone. My wife and I just purchased our house. During closing the home inspector noticed that there was a large build up of creosote. Mark from Oakenshield found a complete obstruction of our downstairs fire place.
