The wash bays do provide powerful jets of water, but don't provide spot remover, even though it's offered as a selection on the function dial. And, one of the vacuums has almost no power. It took the four minutes allotted for 75 cents to clean less than half of my vehicle's interior. Even after I removed the paper that somebody jammed in the nozzle (something this facility's owner or manager should have insured was done), there was still very little suction. I asked for the exterior & interior of my car to be cleaned, vacuumed as well as clean the rims and tires. There are blatant spots, that I pointed out on the doors (we all have kids we know they leave stickiness at times) and on the side of me center console, where I spilled a protein shake yesterday. They left it. The owner told me that if I wanted the doors and the center console wiped down, it was going to be an additional $20 because they don't wipe that they only armorall those areas. So for $40, parts of my car are still dirty but if I wanted to pay $60 it would have been done. The male owner also was speaking over me instead of allowing me to speak and finish my sentence (huge trigger point for me). I paid $60 to do a full service and detailing of the inside and outside of my car. Saying they did a bad job would be good for them. They gave me my car the same way I gave it to them would use a little oil to make it look shiny over all the dirt. When I went back to ask them to redo it again, the owner got super aggressive and defensive, and told me that I was trespassing that I needed to leave his property immediately. Then he started being racist towards my mom who does not speak English. And ultimately call the police on us for just wanting him to redo the job. I wasn't even asking for a refund. read more

Went to Oaklawn car wash where I usually go to have my car washed. The owners, people inside at the cash register, are miserable. Always have been I just dealt with it . No more ! When I was there I accidentally spilled my drink on the floor. I apologized and the guy came from behind the desk and handed me a piece of paper towel with a disgusted look on his face! I asked if I could have another piece of paper towel so I could finish wiping it up and he said, " no I need those for here." You shouldn't be working with the public. I paid $25 to have my car cleaned and my grand children could have done a better job for a lot less than that. For one thing you get there and they try to upsell you on everything. I got the super wash for $18 had to pay extra for my SUV and extra for this and extra for that and it turned out to be $25. When I walked over to my car when they were done they let had left the driver's door open and I could see that they had not vacuumed under the front seat. In front of the front seat was not clean as well. The driver's side door had not been wiped down or dusted. Where they had dusted on the dashboard they did a quickie job and left dust in the corners and had wiped dust down on to the the seat. They didn't even bother to clean out the cup holders on my console. It was just disappointing all around and I would never consider going back. read more

I don't wash my car often but was in a lot of snow recently. I usually go to this car wash cause it's close and they do a good job usually. 20 dollars is a lot to me for a car wash but it's usually worth it. This time was very different. The guy outside asked if I wanted protectant on my console and I said sure but when I went to pay realized on the slip that they charge seperately for the console (7 dollars) and the dahsboard (5 dollars) so I asked if they could take it off which they did. However I was very upset to find after I had tipped they barely whipped down the inside of my car at all. The undercarage didn't look washed properly either as there was still ice. I feel like I paid for a full service wash for no reason. Do yourself a favor and go to Miracle Car Wash they're cheaper and you actually get your money's worth. read more

I am pretty impressed with this car wash! It's a family owned business that has been in Cranston for ever since I can remember. Today (Thursday) I stopped in and it was not busy at all, I believe two other cars were ahead of me. My car was being tended to as soon as I pulled in. They took their time and were very detailed on both the inside and outside of my vehicle. I know there's usually a long line down Oaklawn Ave on the weekends and the day snow starts to melt after a snow storm. Based on other reviews I'm thinking when it gets busier, like any car wash, they have to move quick. One thing that I felt could be better were the windows as they were left a bit hazy however they removed all of my dogs wet nose marks. Also kudos to the vacuum crew, there's not a spec of fur left in my car! I will definitely return and it will be at a time similar to today. read more

We got up to the front where one car was still in front of us. I took my son out because he was SCREAMING and I needed to console him. He yells at me to pull my car up. I want to start this review off by saying that I wouldn't come back to this carwash if it was free. First of all, it is extremely overpriced. I've been to other car washes that do a way better job for half the price. The main reason I would never come back here is because of the owner. I have never in my entire life met someone as ignorant, cocky, and arrogant as this man. I'm not 100% sure if he is the owner but if he is, he should have absolutely nothing to do with the front of the house. He should not be working with customers at all. I am originally from the East Bay here in R.I. I have been here in Cranston for twenty two (22) yrs, where this has become my home. Oaklawn merchants obviously has been my norm. One of them is Oaklawn Care Wash. I have been going periodically there for twenty two (22) years since my residency here. Always been satisfied with their results. I have a Nissan Rogue 2011 that I purchased four (4) years ago with 52,000 miles. I have always kept it up with oil changes and other maintenance etc. Due to my busy work schedule, I knew that I was due for a wax to protect my car finish which was due two (2) years ago. This morning given Columbus day weekend, I have tree (3) days off and decided to call the car wash to see if I needed an appointment to get the car waxed for the winter. The lady on the phone was so polite and explained that as long as it was the exterior we could do it today. I showed up a half hour later and they took me in. As mentioned, my car is eleven (11) years old. The headlights were fogged up. I watched the individual recon my car including the headlights. I was not sure why he was buffing the headlights. I thought he made a mistake applying wax to the headlights and watching him after the buff wiping with a cloth for at least ten (10) minutes on each headlight thinking he made a mistake. OMG! I could not believe that my 2011 Rogue looked better that when even when I purchased it including the headlights. I called later at 4:15pm and spoke to the lady who took my call and had to mention how great the car looked as well as the fogged headlights. I mentioned to her my concerns about the headlights that never saw the headlights being done like that before. I never saw attention to detail like this. Obviously I thanked her and she would relate this information to this man who was her recon specialist. My car looks like out of the show room. I have been using this place for about six months and they consistantly do a great job. They always get the carpets vaccumed very well and wipe the dash and doors very well. (I am a slob) Expect to spend about $20 for an exterior wash with undercarriage clean, armor all tires and dash. The only complaint I have is they offer interior cleaning as part of the price but only vacuum and wipe off the windows the dashboard and such didn't get done. Very poor service! My car never used by anyone but me and only use of drivers seat. Car is kept up inside and out. Ask for full service package then had amor all to interior and tires....cost $50. They never vacuumed on side of seat, dirt in door foot pad, never cleaned out cup holder, never cleaned of digital meat pad, amor all to one door only. Went in to cashier twice ans she carries on a good conversation with customers but about personal life not business like and she obviously was upset with me bring to her attention the deficits. I will NEVER go to this car wash again! First off...they want to charge you 17$ to wash the inside of your car lol so 40$ for the in and out. Which is ridiculous. I JUST had my breaks done yesterday and this morning I decided to try this car wash out for the first time. My mistake. My car was running PERFECTLY fine while driving to the car wash. When my car was done my breaks were hitting the floor. I had my car towed to my mechanics and I was told that the lift they used cut break line. All set with this car wash.
