My boyfriend and I were in the area and I have wanted to check this place out as not only are they an arcade spot that serves food but also an escape room and mini golf spot! We unfortunately didn't have a lot of time but we want to come back to try out the escape room and mini golf and they have a great deal for week days for food or mini golf! The arcade games here have a mix of newer and older as well as several different genres, they had plenty of pinball machines, and other fun games! The staff that was working that day was very friendly and informative about what they offer. They were kind with us and the other customers that were present. The space looks clean and well-taken care of. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. My family of 4 just played a round of black light put-put golf and had a great time. $40 for all of us got us 50 minutes of family fun. Course is well made and enjoyable. Ambiance is fun and memorable. We didn't play arcade games or order food but it was nice to see they offer even more to do during future visits. read more

If you are in this area and looking for something to do this might be worth a stop off. It does not look like much from the outside and appears much smaller from it's previous location, but I never actually made it to that one. I'm a fan of interesting mini golf and was intrigued by the idea of 3D black light mini golf. I don't think this is something I have encountered previously and I feel like I have played a lot of mini golf lately. The location has easy parking, bathrooms and snacks which may be worth the opportunity to stretch your legs on their own. There's also a small arcade area. We almost opted to not pay the extra for the 3D glasses as they seemed like they would not lend much to the game, but quickly decided we were wrong. My partner and I tried to share a pair of glasses, he did not feel this was adequate. The 3D effects were kind of cool. The mini golf area is cramped and may not be as fun if other parties are trying to use it at the same time. If you are lucky enough to have the place for yourself it is highly enjoyable. Shankz doesn't just have pizza. It was great pizza and a great price. Way better than I anticipated. We stopped in last Friday right before a big group arrived. They let us order so it would be in before the group arrived and offered to start our order while we played gold. Received it quickly once we got done playing. Food was amazing. Desserts were fun and worth the money. Staff was awesome. Will most likely stop frequently and grab pizza's on our way through town. Wonderful place. Keep it up! read more

First time here. In an older building with like an indoor swap meet type vibe. Staff was super friendly. They offer senior and military discount. You can add on 3D glasses for a different experience. The new guy in town is not for the faint of heart nor the pizza aficionado. Like the Quesadilla Factory, the place is a mecca for kids to waste money on the machine games. The pizza was limp, though the sauce, mushrooms and onions were very good. Sadly, it was smothered in cheese, served without forks or a knife and there were no napkins on the table. I wasn't too impressed when we pulled up. But once we got inside we had a warm friendly greeting and the delicious smell of fresh cotton candy. The 3D Black Light mini golf was sooooo much fun! Outstanding folks and business! This is place is a gem! Found out that This place is in a place called Yard Birds. There is a HUGE bird outside the building. You cannot miss this thing. I was told it was the Walmart before there were nationwide Walmarts everywhere. It's now a huge indoor Goodwill. This place is an arcade, glow golf and escape room. I had never heard of an escape room before. They "lock" you in a room and you have to follow the clues to be able to get out or finish the game. Whoever came up with this concept here is a genius. We had so much fun! Youth groups, family meetings, team get togethers should all do this activity to work on fellowship and team leadership skills. Plus it's fun! Make sure you book your group in advance and schedule some time to play. They give you an hour and 4 hints each game. Apparently there isn't just one game! There is another escape room you can do that is also just as fun! Can't wait to go back to do that one. Great group of folks with excellent service. We will be back! read more

I can't imagine what the high reviews are for. By far the worst mini golf course I've ever been to, and overpriced to boot. The holes were extremely short and uninteresting, with little thought given to their layout. The darkness and black lights don't hide the fact that the course is so poor. This place is amazing, the new owners are awesome a very helpful. They are adding new things all the time. My kids 11&7 had a great time just golfing we didn't even do the inflatables or the small arcade are that they have. We will be back. read more

We have gone to black light mini golf here and it was a great experience with our kids. What I really want to RAVE about is the escape room fun! We went for my daughter's 17th birthday. She had 4 friends and my husband and I for the escape room. It was great fun for everyone and everything was put together well. It was difficult but not too difficult. We did not escape but if we would have had a few more minutes....very much worth the 20 dollars entry fee. read more

I've been here once been meaning to go back again. The mini-golf course is all glow-in-the-dark. Its fairly intermediate to play and the last hole offers a challenging hole-in-one-for-free-something. There's a large arcade with 10+games and snacks like pop or popcorn if hungry. read more

Not a fan of mini golf myself but I thank my lucky stars to have found in Chehalis this one-hour 1950's experience of a lifetime. As a professional artist, I can tell you that the retired painter/sculptor that created this masterpiece of installation art is a genius. Huge dinosaurs, sea monsters, jungle creatures lurk around each turn! You will be amazed, you will be thrilled and delighted, you will be doo-wapped, (music), and like me, you will want to return. Perfectly maintained and loved with great air conditioning. The owner is informative and charming. Seriously, do not miss. I didn't know there were 3D glasses, now I am anxious to go back! There are food, drinks, popcorn and lots of rare vintage arcade games you will never see again. Plus it's in a humongous antique mall and there's a COLOSSAL crow sculpture "Yard bird" out front.
