I needed time for my eyes to focus during my eye exam and she didn't rush me. I suffer terribly from dry eye syndrome and she gave me a full eye treatment for this (drops, gel and moist heat eye mask). Yes, it is expensive. However, the treatment works and I am thrilled with the immediate results! My eye glass prescription is perfect and I can see much better now and I love my new frames. I saw Dr. Grewal for the first time today. The full eye exam is $82. The pre-test included the…read moremachine with the balloon picture in it, and glaucoma (air puff) testing. During the eye exam, she took a history, asked me about any issues I had, and then did the "1 or 2 game" with me. She specifically mentioned assessing how my eyes work together, and did some tests with both eyes open that I hadn't had done before. I also opted for basic contact lens fitting, for an additional $55. For years, optometrists have been telling me that because I have mild astigmatism in one eye, all contact lenses are going to be blurry. (Basic lenses won't fix the astigmatism, and astigmatism lenses were too strong for me.) Dr. Grewal told me there's a "mathematical conversion" that will allow me to wear basic lenses and still have clear vision. This is the first time any optometrist has let me know this is an option. Dr. Grewal put contacts in my eyes. It took a number of tries to get the right lens in, and she kept reassuring me it wasn't my fault- which was actually really helpful. Then she taught me to remove and replace the lenses. For the next week, I'll wear contacts for longer and longer each day. Next week I'll return to report back on how these lenses feel, and she'll give me at least two different brands to trial. She says we can repeat this process until I find a contact lens brand I am most comfortable with, all for the $55 fee. Look and See is about fifty dollars cheaper than my previous optometrist down the street, and their care is way better. Dr. Grewal is knowledgeable and friendly, and I appreciate the guarantee that I'll find contacts I like. There was also no pressure to buy glasses or contacts from them (so far)! *It is important to note that these were the fees for eye exams and BASIC contact lens fitting as of January 2019, and these fees are subject to change. I was told yes and that all I had to do was submit my receipt to my insurer. I was not told that they only work within a group of insurers who fully cover their services. I had to pay a portion out of pocket. Then I was given a fuzzy diagnosis. Maybe I should get reading glasses maybe I shouldn't. My vision is just starting to get blurry. I was given a prescription without the PD so I can't order reading glasses online. I requested the PD and they told me they couldn't legally give it to me. Then when I noted it was required they give me all health information they claimed they didn't take the PD measurement. Maybe they didn't take the measurement but their first reaction was to withhold it. I would expect my eye doctor to actually care about helping me improve my vision maybe even offer to measure the pupil distance. Now I will have to take my own measurement and hope i get it right so I can order reading glasses online. I will definitely go elsewhere next time.

I actually tried to speak with her. I thought that was odd. The manager of the store relayed the message that my son could benefit from Blue Light glasses. We then went through the process of selecting those. Fast forward to this afternoon. The store manager calls, leaves a voicemail, telling me that they have made a referral and that my 15 year old knows about it. He didn't. I call back and ask what's up. I'm told that the doctor, in an abundance of caution, is concerned enough to refer my son to another level of clinic to assess the issue that he brought to their attention. The manager called because she felt the doctor behaved oddly by not speaking to me. While I'm happy for the referral, I am a bit disappointed that, between the doctor and the store manager, I was expected to hear of the doctor's concern via a teenage boy. Anyway, all of this is to say you may want to consider a different shop. In my experience optometrists elsewhere do actually speak with parents of kids about what is necessary to keep the kids healthy. This place sort of does that, though you may have to wait 24 hours and hope that the manager comes to feel a bit off about the doctor to the point of calling to let you know herself

My optometrist was friendly and very informative of what was causing my eye discomfort. She took the time to explain and showed videos to make sure I understood and offered advice on how to take care of my eyes at home. The inside of the store was clean and the other staff members were attentive and nice. I personally didn't have time to browse the shop for glasses but they do provide 30 minutes after your exam to look and try frames. Everything is operating by appointment only but it's easy to book it on their website. I plan to return in the future to try on glasses and recommend anyone to go visit too!

Unprofessional place--avoid at all costs!!!…read more I had an eye exam here, and they made a glaring error: my right eye axis was off by 20 degrees. Small differences can happen, but 20 degrees is unacceptable for a place that claims to be professional. Even then, I wasn't angry. The real nightmare started when I checked my glasses. I bought a handcrafted frame from Japan for more than $800 after tax--fragile, unique, and something I truly cherish. On the day they tried to "fix" their axis mistake, instead of handling it properly, they decided to bend my frame without my consent. Now it's distorted, misshapen, and looks awful. They brushed it off as a "small adjustment." How ridiculous! Who bends a fragile Japanese frame to fix an optical prescription error?! I'm devastated and deeply disappointed by the way they treat their customers. And yes--it was Dr. Rebecca, the same name that appears in many other one-star reviews. Also, after few rounds of communication, the clinic refused to admit their mistake, still saying their intention was good, and the issue was small. The most irresponsible clinic I've ever encountered. A complete joke.

I did not have to wait to see the doctor. Once the eye exam was complete the lovely ladies at the front helped me pick out the perfect glasses and lenses. I was able to find exactly what I needed at a very affordable price!
