They serve us a salad was so soggy and brown the chicken they served us with a fillet. It's like about two weeks old. That's what I felt like I think they were serving people garbage food. I do not recommend this place to anybody it was a bad experience over there and the owner. Frank doesn't give a shit about customer service. He cares about his own money because I was complaining it was 80° inside the place all the people were complaining. How hot was it? I go to the front desk. They told me the air conditioner doesn't work how terrible of this place people read my message before going over there spending all that kind of money it's not worth it and the Owner hung up on us. Doesn't wanna talk cause we say the truth guys not worth it don't spend the money.

I initially found the venue through a comment on a Reddit thread about Metro-Detroit venues and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. As soon as we toured the building and saw the gorgeous 1920s architecture, we knew we'd found the right place. As the building was formerly a Masonic Temple, the craftsmanship and design flourishes in the building were absolutely unmatched compared to anywhere else we looked. We did our rehearsal dinner the night before in The Pontiac Lounge, our ceremony and reception in The Crystal Ballroom, then threw an afterparty in The Speakeasy Lounge downstairs. We had a total of roughly 170 guests, but they have space for a lot more than that if you need it. It was such a fun party and our guests (and vendors!) spoke so highly of the space, the food, the staff and the atmosphere. The entire process was unbelievably smooth. Everything went flawlessly before, during and after. That's a testament to the whole team that made it happen there. From the initial tour, to tastings, to setup and teardown, everyone was so helpful and easy to work with. They execute events with unrivaled professionalism and experience, which in turn, removed a ton of stress from our planning process. A few other perks and great things worth mentioning: -There is plenty of free parking, which is a huge bonus and made the travel logistics very simple. -There are a bunch of cool spots within walking distance in Downtown Pontiac that we used for exterior photos. Lots of great architecture and murals as backdrops. -There are several other gorgeous rooms available in the building, that they could honestly accommodate your wedding in a million different ways. -The food was incredible. -The Crystal Ballroom has beautiful architectural details (insanely cool handcrafted woodwork, trim, etc.). The decor of the room is so good on its own, that we didn't have to bring in a ton of outside decorations. -Our main points of contact were the owners (and it's worth mentioning that this is a family-owned business). You can tell they really love what they do and have a passion for their events, food and historic building. -The new floors in the bar area upstairs are gorgeous. The new chandeliers and work they've done in the Speakeasy is stunning. -On that note, the Speakeasy was a great party space (my wife and I DJ'd the afterparty along with some other musician friends and it was a great way to top off the night). -We did every single thing we wanted at a price point that was right in our budget. Our wedding looked and felt like it cost much, much more than we paid. To Greg, Rob, Ryan, Lauren and the whole team: thank you so much. 10/10 every step of the way. The brothers were all so nice and present throughout the entire process, along with Lauren, always stopping at every table to make sure you have everything you need. I love that they even have the bar open during the testings. The day of my wedding went perfect. They fed everyone so fast, and everyone complimented the food. We provided our own charger plates and this facility even washed them all for us before we went to pick them up the next day. They had the few things we left in an area for us, loading everything in and out was perfect, I just loved it. They really made my wedding day so special. I recommend them to everyone. We toured numerous venues and as soon as we saw this one it was a no brainer. We booked the Crystal Ballroom and it was just so amazing. We loved it. It's also a great venue to have kids.

I went today to the Elsa and Anna (Frozen) tea party. I will admit that my daughter had fun, but it…read morewasn't worth the $65+ that I spent. That price included a ticket for my daughter and me, plus "dinner", tea, and dessert. "Dinner" for me was half a turkey sandwich with about 6 grapes. My daughter had about 8 grapes and 4 chicken nuggets. There was a desert tray on the table with cheese and crackers, a tiny rice krispie treat, a few marshmallows and gummy bears. Desert was a tiny teaspoon of vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. Because it's a tea party, the girls got pink lemonade in a tea cup and moms got hot tea. Elsa and Anna did a great job! They could sing very well, and were super nice to the kids. They did the best to keep them engaged and participating. The tea party was marketed to be for 2 hours, from 5pm to 7pm. I was quite surprised to to hear the announcement at 6:24 (i checked) that the party was over. Not even an hour and a half of the promised time?? That's quite a disappointment. The short tea party time, with the "dinner " that should have been advertised as hors d'oeuvres was very disappointing. If I'd paid about half the price I wouldn't complain, but over $65 for what I got was way way too much. I'd not recommend this to anyone unless the price is slashed.

The party started with all the girls getting their hair done with a tiara and fairy dust . The girls were then sent to the large closet to pick out their gown they wanted to wear to the ballroom. My husband overheard that they have over 400 dresses! The girls were then announces into the "ballroom" and seated at the beautifully set table. The girls did some fun dances, twirled around, had a mini etiquette lesson, drank their lemonade " tea " and refreshments, and then had a fashion show with their dresses! The party ended with opening of the presents and some more dancing. Before the party ended, my daughter ran up to me and said she wanted a birthday party there. This is the perfect party for a girl who wants an intimate setting with just her friends. I wish there was one closer to my house. I will keep checking their website, they said they have an Easter bunny brunch and some summer camps. It is the perfect place for a mommy-daughter outing. I loved seeing how happy my daughter was!
