I'm reaching out to share my concerns about some of the rules at this banquet hall that made planning my event more difficult than expected. I was surprised to learn that we weren't allowed to bring our own desserts, chairs, chair covers, table covers or even our own forks. I also found it frustrating that only silver forks were offered, with no option for gold, and we couldn't even bring our own or rent from another company. On top of that, being forced to go through your hall for everything (instead of choosing our own vendors) made things more expensive and limited our choices. It didn't feel very flexible or customer-friendly. I hope you'll consider being more flexible with these policies in the future. Allowing people to bring in a few of their own items or work with outside vendors would really help make events more personal and affordable. read more

Re run - from my past reviews. This time no prime rib- boo, lol. Once again- a charity casino night. All the dealers were really funny. Dj, didn't realize that before and during dinner- music doesn't need to be as lous as at the end of the evening. Salad, steak and potatoes were good. This place is fantastic! We've had an event here each year for numerous years and each time they've been great. Last night in particular they went above and beyond! Without blinking an eye, they helped me out immensely and it melted away the stress immediately. Big props to Chandler and Lisa for bring rockstars, these two ladies were the absolute best to work with. The food was great as usual and I'm very pleased with the overall turnout. read more

Below average establishment, Been here for few times on family a d different occasions. The interiors are worn out, beat-up and in need for serious renovations to lift the place up! The food is probably the weakest link here, the quality is very bad, it gets worse every time, This would probably be the last time i'd go there, Parking space is good, no valet, coat check is available, the place has a spacious lobby for pictures.. So all in all good place but needs a ton of work! read more

Came by here for an event, and overall had a really great experience! The building wasn't particularly eye catching from the outside, but the main event room was very nice. The coat check service was prompt, and they served a variety of appetizers including bruschetta and chicken skewers. The room was nicely set up, and there was enough space for everyone to move around without feeling too cramped. read more

Okay first let me start by saying I had my prom here back in 2001...NOTHING has changed in this place since then! It was exactly how i remembered it 16 years ago! It definitely is a typical banquet hall. Needs updating. I came here for a LIons Club charity dinner and the food was pretty good, but again, it was typical banquet food. The service wasn't that great. It seemed like we had high schoolers clearing our table (nothing wrong with that..except that they were standing by the trays having a loud conversation that wasn't appropriate and seemed very immature). The outside of this place looks like a castle, which is kinda cool, the inside though...definitely NOT upscale or castle like in any way!!!!! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We had to cancel our wedding due to Covid-19 and did not want to put our families and friends at risk. We did not want to reschedule with a different date later on because I didn't know how long covid would last. Lisa and the other manager were so horrible to us. Lisa ignored my phone calls and emails.They are completely heartless and careless. They only cared about our money. I was so heartbroken having to cancel my wedding but I'm so glad that I won't be having my wedding reception here anymore. Please do not support their business as I was treated so poorly here. I hope that no one has to go through what we went through with this place. I'm just glad we cancelled and don't have to spend our important day at the San Marino club. I had my wedding here and it turned out AMAZING!!!! The sad thing is, majority of that was due to factors outside of San Marino. Throughout the planning process, communicating and getting answers from San Marino was nothing but a headache. I've never been married before and I've never had to plan a wedding... so there were lots of questions I didn't even know I should be asking. San Marino offered no direction, no support, nothing. It took complaining and crying during a meeting with Ron to get some reassurance. Following that, it was very evident that they did not like working with me or my family. A comment was even made during an unwarranted lecture that "even if we didn't want to work with you, we have to bc we have a contract in place". Honestly, it wasn't until around 2 weeks before the wedding that I felt like things were starting to go well with San Marino.. which was great. But for an out of state bride, or any bride in general, feeling more welcomed/supported is needed way more than just 2 weeks before. The day of went great tho, Brian really gave his all and reassured us that things would go smoothly! He communicated great and I could really tell he was doing everything he could to make sure that things were taken care of. I wish he was like this during the whole process instead of just on the big day. The banquet staff was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing!!! The place looked beautiful too on the day of, but that could vary drastically depending on the weddings decor. I definitely had my ups and downs with this place. If you have a wedding planner, then working with San Marino may go way smoother for you. But if you're planning on your own, you may be in for a stressful ride read more

So bored - had a DJ . The hall was beautiful. But, there were a sea of blue-haired men there on the hunt. It felt like a high school dance where the women were on one side waiting to be asked by the men to dance. OMG - not fun at all. It cost about $15 dollars cover, then you purchase tickets for drinks. CHEESY big time. Will definitely not go back to a singles dance - ugh! read more

My sister had her wedding reception here. Nice enough place. Very Italian. Notice on the "Founding Members" plaque all the names end in I. When we were taking pictures near the entrance and the normal crowd was mucking about I thought to myself "This looks like a Soprano family reunion." Big hair, tight dresses, tan tan tan! The decor is pretty solid. The food, although my only experience was with an event buffet style so maybe not the best judge, was passable but nothing worth slapping your mother over. The staff was nice, friendly, smiling and joked back with you. Id go back again, and probably have an event there too. read more

Food was horrible, service rude & terrible. We were there 4 a work holiday party with 200-250 people there. Waitress took away our water glasses without asking. Then comes back & says they need the glasses 4 a wedding in the next room & will get us different glasses. Well the 5 glasses brought back were all used! One even had lipstick on it!! I would never spend a dime to rent this place. At least the building is very nice. read more

Ron is amazing. I love this hall and highly recommend them. I was going to have my wedding there in 2016 unfortunately due to unfortunat complicated issues.... I had to cancel. He was so understanding. I appreciate him and San Marino Club so much and highly recommend them for any event. read more

Everything at this hall was wonderful. The food was great and the manager Brian was awesome and was sure to help us with absolutely anything we needed. Lisa, however, was difficult to work with from the time we booked to the time of the wedding. She was very rude and disrespectful. My husband and I went up to the bridal party suites to change our 4 month olds diaper and clothes and she followed us up there to yell at us. We were not only apart of the bridal party but we had all of our belongings up there since we arrived at the hall at 4pm. All the groomsmen had their coats, changes of clothes, and phones charging up in the rooms and after being there for 5 hours she presumed to tell them all they weren't allowed up there. Had she spoken to us like adults in a respectful manner they would have gotten their things and stayed down stairs. This was our only complaint to what was mostly a wonderful night. read more
