We hurried to put 2 bucks in, so we could start the shampoo part. It was only after we put about $2.50 in we realized the shampoo head was busted anyway, so we had like 5-6 minutes (estimates) or vacuum time that we didn't need. In fact, there were several cars at the car wash when I arrived, so it did not appear completely dead. I got a jump from a hero and was able to get over to Tuffy. They fit me in with no appointment - and quickly! They were informative and quick. I left happy with a new battery and confident that my alternator and starter were fine. I was able to make my gig a couple of hours away and get back home. Fast forward to Sunday morning with a dead car in my driveway. Come to find out that the tech didn't clean off the corrosion on the leads from the previously bad battery and they didn't tighten down the negative either! Upon taking it in, it was a routine check in/drop off procedure. They got back to me the same day, but here's where they won me over. My repair was fully covered under Jeep warranty, so taking it to the dealer would cost $0. Al, who advised me of my options said I could just go get it fixed free at the dealer (which he communicated to them before I went). The point is that these guys could have easily gone the "shady auto shop" route and charged me for something the warranty covered, but instead these guys were honest. John's ended up having to re-do the job that the other shop screwed up.
