For a once-in-a-lifetime event stay away- I trusted them to deliver what we agreed on. They give you blah blah blah when you're there and when you pick it up it's not what you ordered! I had a full consultation for my daughter's Communion and carefully selected a soft pink-and-white palette with the designer. We specifically discussed the flowers I wanted, the overall vibe, and the flowers I absolutely did NOT want. I made it crystal clear: NO hydrangeas. Mostly roses!! When I arrived at the venue, not a single flower we selected was there. A completely different tablescape- I couldn't believe it. Instead, I was given a bunch of yellow and gold flowers - basically whatever was left sitting in their HOT refrigerator. The arrangement completely clashed with the entire tablescape and decor I had planned around the pink-and-white aesthetic. And yes -- despite specifically requesting no hydrangeas -- they were included too. The corsage look like it was a throwback from the 1980s. They charged $100 for that too. Steve provided a really incredible level of service at a very fair price and was quick to respond to us whenever we needed his advice and input over the course of a project that took about six months, start to finish. Steve was incredibly attentive when we first met with him, asking great questions to figure out the type of design we were interested in, our preferences for materials, and the functionality we wanted for our completed outdoor spaces. He had excellent suggestions to ensure not only that the patio areas all matched the style and materials of our home but also that the new landscaping complemented the existing plantings elsewhere on our property. After our first meeting, we fine-tuned our plans through sessions where we reviewed meticulously prepared plans that gave us a wonderful sense of what the finished product would look like, while also giving us insights into the logistical challenges our property presented (which he ultimately factored in seamlessly). Once construction commenced, Steve visited the site regularly and provided vigilant oversight for the job and great on-the-fly suggestions for small tweaks as the project unfolded. The high level of service continued when we moved to the landscaping phase: Steve was once again at our property regularly to oversee planting; he had great alternative recommendations when our landscaper had difficulty finding a few items; and he ensured that we received all of the appropriate shrubs, trees and flowers (which we would have had a very hard time keeping track of ourselves). Steve was also very careful to incorporate as many of our existing plants as possible in his design plan, which reduced the landscaping costs and allowed us to keep a number of beautiful, well-established plants. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Steve on this project. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of his field and does a superior job of explaining all of the details to the homeowner. I could not recommend him more highly.
