I was very cold because I was left 5 times, one time for 6 mins, during my massage 120 min massage, with exposed wet feet. One of the other massage techs came over and apologized as I was laying there waiting for the girl to keep coming back. He put a towel over me and a leg support under me. Very nice guy. So my combo massage was bout 95 mins vs 120 due to starting late and she kept leaving. When I booked I mentioned I had a 20% off. When it was time to check out they had me standing there late for work for 12 mins while they called around to see if they felt like taking the 20%? It gets worse. After I had been there 2 1/2 hours now due to my massage starting late and then them wanting to hold me there until the owner could get there which was unbeknownst to me, the owner flew up in her car and attempted to bully me out of accepting the promo that I told them I had before even booking. I told her it was not going to happen. That they were going to take a non-expired coupon that they have produced at some point, while claiming they've never made a coupon? But still couldn't explain how I actually did have a coupon that they have made at some point! None of this should be the experience of a first time customer, my time is just as valuable as their's. Jonathan injured my arm. On August 1st 2024, I got a message…read moreat Movement Restoration from Jonathan, a therapist I had never worked with before. As soon as the massage was over, my right arm was numb, heavy, painful and I couldn't move it. I immediately notified Jonathan of this. When I informed the owner, Trish, she kept telling me it was a normal body response and that I didn't need to go to the doctor. The day after the massage, I showed another therapist at the facility, Denise, and the front desk girl the lack of movement in my arm. They both told me that was NOT normal and that I should see a doctor right away. Denise said the owner, Trish, was telling me it was normal because she didn't want to be liable. I had imaging done and went to an orthopedic surgeon on August 6th. He diagnosed me with a rotator cuff impingement tendinitis, axillary neuropraxia and sensory palsy to axillary nerve due to an overhead stretch, manipulation and axillary manual massage. Jonathan overstretched my arm while pressing into my nerves which caused the injury. After going to the Dr. and receiving a diagnosis, I went back to Movement Restoration and gave the owner, Trish, a note from the doctor explaining the injury and the maneuver that caused it. She still tried to convince me it was normal. I asked if she would be submitting an insurance claim and she let me know she would not be submitting a claim as well as would not be taking responsibility for injuring my arm. My arm has now been painful and numb to sensation since August 1st, 2024 because of this. I have been on pain medicine and have been going to physical therapy to help with the pain and to heal the nerve. I had been going to Movement Restoration for years so it's very disappointing to be treated like this.
