S and s powder

Very clean and professional, they can do any kind of nail, no problem. I've gotten gel nails, acrylic nails, acrylic fills, and s and s powder. The pedicure bowls are always clean and everything is sterilized.

Looked at reviews on yelp and serene looked like a good place to go, from the minute I called I knew it was going to be a great experience The front desk answered right away and easily booked me for that afternoon, I walked in and was instantly greeted with water, my chair all set up, and anything else I needed. the staff was so inventive and really made me feel pampered. Kim was great she did my mani and pedi and I'm very happy with the result, she listened to what I wanted and really put in time and effort to make them look good I think I found my new nail spot!

Hard gel manicure

I've been coming to this salon for some time and I have to say I always enjoy myself overall. Today I went in for a hard gel manicure (which I've never done before) and they were able to see me right away. I love the quality of my nails and was told they won't damage my nails over time which was really reassuring. I will continue to keep coming back

I have been to countless nail salons only to leave unsatisfied by the wait time even after I made an appointment or the lack of overall service Serene Nail Bar was a total exception. They go above and beyond on giving you a good customer experience This is my second time here with my best friend and I'm so happy to have come back. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Vicky did my nails this time. She was wonderful and did a beautiful job. I showed her an inspo pic and she executed the work so well. We got seated right away and had our nails done in a timely fashion. On top of that they turned out so cute!! Couldn't ask for more! If you're looking for a new nail salon to check out I highly recommend making an appointment and seeing the good results for yourself

Well...I've passed this strip mall a million times and never knew this little spa was even here! It wasn't until my friend recommended it for facials that I realized a spa even existed here. The front desk staff were great in accommodating our last minute couples facial request for the next day. I thought it was a long shot they'd be able to get us both in but they worked their magic somehow. Although we were in two separate rooms we were both able to get facials at the same time. My esthetician was great, gentle, and thorough. My husband said his wasn't as gentle and she did a procedure with an electric tool for his extractions that was pretty painful. He didn't like how intense that experience was and he has slight hyperpigmentation afterwards on area by his nose as a result of it. Hopefully that will go away on its own soon! I will say, overall, his skin did look well hydrated and luscious afterwards. Mine felt and looked great as well. They have a little waiting room that's decorated pretty cute. While checking out, I just so happen to ask about the skincare ornaments on their mini Christmas tree which led the front desk assistant to offer us a skin care sample each (umm yes please ‍). So far, I love the aloe moisturizer as it's super hydrating and I may have to return to purchase it. I would definitely return for another facial, although I'm not so sure I will ever be able to convince my husband to again!

Cute nail shop! Would go back. In the heart of old town so very easy to get in :) Lots of very nice people working here!

I call to ask if they had availability at 6 PM the font desk said of course come on in. I come in they ask me to pick out a color. A lady takes me back and start doing my nails. She was having a FULL conversation with another lady working talking in a different language very loud! She also kept picking up her phone and texting, she even took a phone call and put it on speaker. Not once asked me how my day is our encounter with me anyway. When removing my existing nail dip she didn't have me go wash my hands or try to clean then herself. The existing glue/nail dip was stuck to the bottom of my fingertips, and at the end of the appointment, she didn't even clean it up. She started to really rush towards the end to the point my nails weren't even dry as she was putting the top coat on. She clearly just wanted to leave. I showed the lady at check out and asked for an alcohol wipe to get the glue off the bottom of my fingertips. She had to scrub to get the residue off my hands, and kept apologizing. At this point I was really annoyed and ready to leave because I started pointing out flaws with my nails but the lady wasn't going to do anything. Needless to say I left and will not be returning. If the state board were to come around and see how they handle hygiene and cleanliness of their clients, they would be shut down.

I have to say that I did my research to find somewhere to get my nails and toes done before Christmas as well as enjoy a relaxing massage. We were staying in Phoenix because my boyfriend was working there for 3 months. This place had amazing reviews so I made an appt with their online service. I then received calls and texts asking me to change my appt around to accommodate another customer. Not a big deal except when I showed for my appts the shop was not open and everyone was over 20mins late. I stood outside in the cold for over 30mins waiting because I was asked to be 15mins early for my services and had to take an Uber as I do not live here. The dip nails were so thick and didn't even last a full week without cracking, chipping and starting to fall off. The lady that gave me the manicure though was super sweet and a good conversationalist. I will say that is probably the only reason I didn't pay too much attention prior to leaving. The pedicure was good, polish lasted longer than I expected based off how terrible the manicure was. The only reason I left 2 stars is because I had the MOST WONDERFUL massage. If you want a great massage, I would encourage you to try this spa, for anything else, steer clear!!

Amazing every time!! The ladies and front desk always deliver! Love they took me right away with no appt.

Broken nail day one
Alexandria V.

My 90$ nails shouldn't be snapping and breaking not even 24 hours after I got them done... I asked for a full set to be redone.. the lady acted too busy well that's MY TIME AND MONEY TOO... and just retouched the two that had broken already and now today the other snaps off.. I asked for my whole set to be redone because they were poorly placed on my hand... I could see them breaking at the base... with the naked eye... I was extremely nice to you guys and would have tipped more if my hand hadn't been cut... I even told the managers daughter I wanted to leave a nice review but my patience only goes so far for someone to not even look me in the eye the entire appointment was disrespectful too. Cute aesthetic pleasing but wouldn't recommend to a friend unfortunately. I'm not a Karen. But my press ons stay on as good as this. Pros; massage chair; cute salon; nice family; champagne; customer service; no wait Cons; Nails Flimsy, Price was $$$ which is typical for a nail salon of this caliber but when your nails don't last it's irritating.

Awesome nail bar!! Just here visiting AZ for the weekend and needed a pedi/mani. Initially booked for a pedi... Vicky did an excellent job. The nail polish they used was good quality.. the foot massage i got was amazing, the lotion they used had a honey smell which was heavenly. Vicky took her time and did exceptional... one of my best pedi, thus far. Very classy spot, reasonable price... excellent service from beginning to end. Kudos to the front desk staff, i didn't get their names but they were pleasant and friendly. Will def be back whenever i'm in the area

I asked him to cut my cuticles down more and he said "those are cuticles, that's skin".

Bad quality service and lazy providers. Reached out with my concerns to give them an opportunity to address them and was met with "nothing we can do" essentially. There are 100 better places in Scottsdale, save yourself the disappointment here!

Ana R.

I did a walk in to serenity society nail bar for a acrylic -gel nail fill with 1 missing nail. My total came out to $63 which I thought was a bit on the more expensive end for a fill. The facilities were very clean and they were quick to get a nail artist to begin on my nails. Overall it was a great experience! I did also notice that they had a variety of other services available such as massages and even services aimed at men which I thought was a nice touch.

How much for a massage?

Depends on the type of massage and the duration of the massage. I typically go for a 90 min massage, which can vary $139-$169 based on the style. Including add-ons like CBD oil will increase the price. The lowest one I've seen was $69 for a 50 min.…

Overall a good massage but I had to ask her twice to decrease the pressure and she also didn't put an eye mask on me when I flipped onto my back, which was awkward. It was also freezing in the room and although she said she put it on warm, it never warmed up. I was ok on the warm table, but when I got up afterwards, it was still as freezing as when I got in. They recently did a renovation and the women's shower area is really nice with big individual frosted glass showers with a dry area in front of the shower so that your things don't get wet. Prior to our massages, we enjoyed the co-ed pool area which is for spa guests only, 18+. This was a relaxing area with several water features with different pressures that you could stand under. They also had two small pools to the left which was a cold plunge and a hot plunge (no jets). The views of the mountains were so relaxing and the waiter Daniel was highly available for you to order food and drinks if wanted. Then I went to the women's only area to shower. They offer the most amazing smelling salt scrub (complementary) that makes your skin so soft. Don't forget to grab a bowl! The attendants in the women's area were so helpful. In this area was also a steam room, sauna and an area to dump a bucket of cold water on yourself. They also had 3 heated beds that you can lay on for 10 minutes before your treatment. After the massage, you go in a co-ed sanctuary and lay on a bed with a weighted blanket with noise canceling headphones for 25 minutes. This bed also vibrates to the sounds you choose. One side of my headphones wasn't working unfortunately. After, this led into a co-ed lounge. The hot water maker was already put away (at 5:06pm when they close at 6pm) so I couldn't make myself a cup of tea afterwards - especially when I still felt freezing, which was really disappointing. I expected more for $295 - better snacks and tea available until closing time. I don't think that is a lot to ask for. With so many spas in the area, if ever back in Scottsdale, we don't plan to return.

This used to be our go-to spa -- until today. We had two…read morepedicures and a spa day which has been our tradition every yr , we come here for spa days and treatments on our birthdays... So today we booked it as part of a birthday and Mother's Day weekend celebration. When our technician called out, staff member Madison called us at 9:02 AM and offered to upgrade my pedicure into a massage at no extra charge since our technician called in sick. I told her my husband won't go to the pedicure alone and asked how much do we need to pay for him if we also upgrade his service into a massage? Madison proceeded to place me on hold and came back and said don't worry about the upgrade for Mr. Fish and I got immediately excited and so happy and thanked her , told her will be there by 10 AM.. Upon arrival, we were handed a bill for $635 a Kimberly checked us in. I said I spoke to a Madison and she was next to her and confirmed to Kimberly at the front that our price was $240 total based on our earlier conversation She even told me Kimberly that we are getting upgraded to 2 Artisan massages. We went ahead with our massages trusting it was resolved. We had the best time and enjoyed as normal and ended up leaving around 4PM. At checkout, my husband went downstairs and Madison is now presenting him with the $635 bill!!! Of course like anyone in his position he would be shocked! Like what?!!!! He felt like he was having an out of body experience!! Madison's explanation, and I quote " I misspoke"claimed she misspoke and gave my husband the $635 bill telling my husband that her manager Jed told her while we were getting our massages that what she was told by her manager Jed that they can longer provide what was promised to me on the phone and at checkout. This was going while I was still upstairs, and saw my husband upset. I asked what's going on and he said don't worry about it I will handle this, he said it's your birthday and I am not letting them spoil your day . When confronted, Madison denied ever offering the upgrade in front of her manager when my husband said that's what she said. My husband did not even want me in this conversation because it was birthday/Mother's Day weekend and he did not want to spoil my day.. . What was meant to be a special weekend turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We loved the massages but left feeling disappointed by Madison. I have to say Madison has been so pleasant and super friendly every time we were there, to get this treatment from her, this really hurt me especially on my day and so unexpected. The manager Jed in my opinion did not handle this right. He should have asked Kimberly listened to the call that was made. I don't know but this was handled very poorly in my opinion. Madison had so many chances to make this right but chose not to. What was offered in good faith was taken back without accountability. We hope management reviews the 9:02 AM call recording, because that will tell the whole story or even speak to Kimberly that Madison corrected when we checked in. This is making me feel like I can't trust this company. Moving forward I want to record conversations or make sure I have proof or something because their word is not to be trusted. This leaves my amazing birthday/Mother's Day weekend ending in a bad note because of this.

I really wanted to do the Hammam ritual here so I saved up for a long time. I enjoyed it and felt…read moregreat when it was done but I feel like it wasn't thoughtfully crafted and probably only worth about half of what they charged. The first part is to go into what they call a private warming Hammam room, but the warming room is actually not private and is open to everyone using the sauna. There is a private treatment room, and I think this is really what you are paying a small fortune for--to lie down on a 200-year-old authentic Cherrywood Hammam table for an exfoliation scrub. The table itself is beautiful but not very comfortable--it's high up, so hard to get onto, and--like all wood tables--is very hard. Next you are supposed to go through a self-guided journey through the steam, sauna, whirlpool, warming room again, and cold deluge. They have a recommended circuit but there is no way to actually follow the times on it because you only have 25 minutes (and it took me 5 to get my swimsuit back on). I think I was expecting to be able to spend this time focusing on the experience, but it felt more like I was rushing through the steps in time while hanging out in the spa with everyone else, trying to run through all of the steps in time. Finally, the website says this ends with a massage with CBD or arnica oil. This is in a separate room and on a regular and more comfortable table. Mine was just a regular massage, no oils, though I got to choose between lavender and eucalyptus scents. They do have fun add-ons, like shea butter or cupping or hot stones, but those don't add additional time, so you're paying extra to have a massage take less time so they can add on the other thing you paid for. But if you go during your birthday month you get a free add-on. Anyway, my massage therapist was really good but not $580 good.(I don't know if anyone could be!) There are a lot of spas hat are supposed to be for intentional purposes--like a place to put a rock selected for its qualities, or you can put your hand on an enormous crystal imported from Brazil. But they kind of rush you through this part and it doesn't really seem to be designed with care. For example, there is a fountain outside to put the rock that you see before you even receive a rock. It's not clear that you're supposed to pick it up on the way out. There is no clock in the room where you wait for your appointment. The hooks to hang your robe or towel are and there aren't enough hooks for the number of people. Etc. Overall I think $580 is way overpriced for what is offered, which is basically a scrub and massage and the same spa amenities as everyone else. I was also disappointed by the snack selection--they just had trail mix and dried mangos. I guess I am spoiled because I've been to Aji Spa, which has the most amazing selection of snacks and you can get a wrap and massage for roughly half the price. And it's really somewhere you want to hang out at all day. The food menu on the website is also out of date--I'd decided what I wanted to order ahead of time but it wasn't available. So overall I felt like this ritual didn't have the attention and care I would expect for something this expensive. I am glad I treated myself to this experience but would not do it again.

On upside I got to try every activity here lol and it wasn't too crowded (and they give you bathrobes and lockers and stuff), but on other hand it did seem expensive bordering on pretentious to me a bit.
