The Gyro was delicious! I got their pickled onions on the side as I wasn't sure how strong they'd be. They were actually very good and an excellent compliment to the gyro itself. The Gyro was served with Potato Wedges. These I could have done without, they differed in size so the cook was drastically different depending on which one you got. The small ones were almost over done and the large ones weren't cooked enough. The Sandwich was definitely the highlight of my meal. This place is so cool, Such a beautiful building with amazing outdoor seating. My other complaint is the price. $20+ for a sandwich (after tax) is outrageous. I am very happy to have tried it, It was delicious. I most likely won't go back for that sandwich though. Too many options around at a fraction of the price. This place definitely deserves to be tried by everyone. They are one of the best spots in all of Rockford.

We came on a Wednesday so I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and got $2 off. Between the rest of our family, we ordered the brat Mac n cheese (unique and delicious), wings (70 cents on Wednesdays), the Detour burger (my favorite of the bunch) and the Cobb salad. The salads were my least favorite (which I guess is not surprising). The service is good and it was not crowded which opened up the staff to make us feel very cared for. The biggest plus about this place is the value. Most of the menu options are under $10 (and that's not even with the daily special discounts applied) and worth every penny. She did get a little curt once, but I think it was because she was being bombarded with requests and questions. We only had one drink each before leaving. It was loud, the bathroom was kind of dirty and smelly and I just didn't like the cramped atmosphere.
