But , I am so glad we did. Ed did both mine and hers. He was great at drawing up the picture. It took us like 3 times to get it exactly what we wanted. I went into Custom Ink & Steel to get my nose pierced and was completely surprised by the atmosphere in this shop, the staff was so welcoming and willing to help. I have now received 2 tattoos from Evan Oslund he does AMAZING work, he is also very friendly and talks to you the whole time, which is a big plus in my opinion. Most recently I got my eyebrow repierced after not having it for awhile. Austin is the piercer I always use, but overall the shop it amazing. I like when you enter a tattoo or piercing shop and you feel as if you are in a space with people passionate about piercings and tattoos, plus I am fond of the industrial decor of the shop. Although their prices have gone up slightly over the years, I think the quality and atmosphere does make it worth it compared to other shops in the area. I even trust them to help me with emergencies, they were able to see me same day when I had an embedded philtrium piercing, they have saved me more than once!

It wasn't the best outline, but it wasn't a "pile of shit" like he described it.. He said he would touch up the white spots no problem. Bragged about his abilities the whole time, just for me to end up with a rose tattoo with skin showing through and marks from the needle he used. If my outline was such a pile of shit, that's whatever, but he's responsible for coloring it in... Anyways, contacted him for a touch up and tried to be polite about it, while he insulted, and belittled me. Then told me to calm down. I got the tattoo by him because a friend referred me, and I've honestly never been treated so poorly by an artist. I hate to call someone out like this but name calling and blocking a client that wants a revision, really got under my skin. If you go there you'll regret it.
