The Oasis has been a go-to spot for us for several years, from pre-gaming Apache football games on Friday nights to celebrating our son's 21st birthday. Service tends to be inconsistent and really depends on who's working. When it's busy, especially if you're not a regular, the level of attention can drop quite a bit. The cleanliness, particularly in the restrooms, has also been hit or miss. The bathrooms often feel poorly maintained, and there's buildup on the urinals that's hard to overlook. It's one of those situations where you try not to touch much when you're in there. At this point, we mostly come back for the memories and to grab a photo when we're in the area, since we don't live nearby anymore. OASIS BAR AND GRILL, located in Sanger Ca. I ordered the ground beef nachos half order. The food was delivered hot, the nachos were accompanied with three different sauces, sour cream, green sauce and pico de gayo. The service is great and take into consideration this is quick bar food. Very friendly local bar. My first time here was a few Mondays ago , arrived shortly after their opening time of noon (it was a holiday Monday ;)! Good sized bar to sit at and also a lot of tables. Looks like they might have had a pool table before covid times. This place has a western/local vibe and even though I was there with a Sanger native , it seemed like it would be a cool place to have a drink even if you've never been to Sanger before, everyone seemed very friendly/welcoming and the bartender was great. They actually have food too! A small menu of diner type/grill items, I had their ground beef tacos---delicious! Would definitely go back anytime. Update, Sandy from oasis called me to sincerely apologize for yelling at my designated driver. She explained that she thought my driver was a patron from the business next door who constantly takes up her limited parking lot. I used to love to go play pool at this place, but they can not get a basic margarita right. We had dinner at the brick house around the corner and their margaritas were bomb! We decided to go play some pool and hubby had his modelo and I ordered a margarita with Patron and it tasted like tequila and water. Enjoyed this place for many years . But the owner became grouchy and started belittling customers today. Well you only do that once to me and never again. I will never go back if Sandy still owns the bar. All I did was ask her if she tried unplugging and plugging the jukebox to maybe get it working and she greatly disrespected me. I do not reccomend this place as long as the owner is in her current state of mind. And its been steadily going downhill anyway. Much better places out there to spend time and money at. read more

Went here the other night, as my friends claimed it was premier night spot in Sanger. (I think this is unfair though, because it may be the only night spot in Sanger) As a bar it gets the job done, good amount of beers, 15 or so, on tap, hard alcohol aplenty, tons of seating and a pool table. Crowd seemed to be cool overall, two security guards in case things got out of hand, but didnt see any BS or gangstaism while there. As a grill, it was meh. I got the oasis platter which consisted of fried zucchini, fried cheese, chicken strips and a bunch of other fried stuff. not bad, but not great. I was kinda drunk so it tasted good, although i am sure that if i went there for a sober meal only, i would be disappointed. read more

Ahhhh, the O. Do they still have tacos on Fridays? I'm not sure. They used to be really good. I like to come here with friends for a beer if I'm in town. There is a jukebox to play music. There is also a pool table. They sometimes have live music as well. read more

We stopped in here for a drink after checking out the Blossom Trail and the Sanger Car Show. You never know what you're getting into when you walk into a small town bar, but this place was a nice surprise. The place was pretty full but the bartender was on top of it and we got drinks quickly. They had racing on the TV's and the locals all were very friendly. Had a good time at this little place. We didn't eat, but we saw a steady stream of tacos coming out of the kitchen. If I ever get back here, I'm definitely trying some. read more

A great local bar with friendly bartenders and pretty good food. I tried the Oasis platter which was pretty good as far as samplers go. If you're looking to grind on the dance floor and bring home some strange then this isn't the spot for you. Very poor customer service bartender too busy talking tells us to wait till he's done talking needs to be trained with better customer service walked out of there took our money elsewhere I would definitely think twice about going back there again. This place is no good, the bartenders waaaaay over charge for drinks, first time the two of us had total on the tab 4 or 5 shots and 4 or 5 beers/drinks nothing high end either ( me and my friend both have worked the industry so we have a good idea of the price of things ) the tab comes to about 80$ We questioned it and it as a waste of breath. Went back ( against better judgment ) a different bartender serves between 3 of us 6 shots and a couple beers and a couple mixed drinks and it cost a little over 100$, pretty sure he put the shots of top shelf tequila he was shooting on our tab also, but we never saw a breakdown of our bill ( admittedly my fault) so I would NEVER recommend this place and will NEVER go back. read more

Iv been to this bar a couple times with my boyfriend and on my friends 21 birthday. The bartender is awesome she makes the best shots ever!! She made my friend a row of rainbow shots it was the coolest things iv ever seen! Iv never been here on a weekend iv heard it gets really crowded and I don't like big crowds. read more

Love coming down for a cold beer and a fun time with friends. Im a local Sanger resident and oasis always been the "to-go-spot" for my buddy's and I. I would highly recommend coming here the atmosphere is very welcoming and the beer taste great like always. The only thing that I hate is that the cops are always on the other side of the street (car dealer ship) to be exact waiting to bust people. So, be aware when you leave the bar because most likely the cops will follow you around. read more
