Unfortunately this is not a review for their restaurant. It was not open. I attended a concert at this location and was very pleased at the set up from parking to food vendors. The acoustics were awesome and the service from entry to bar to food truck to merch was excellent. The only issue is the bathrooms. There wasn't enough for this particular event. I am coming back to sample their culinary menu. Highly recommend for concert venue. read more

No egos here, example ordered a drink at the bar and was great but not what I was wanting, asked my waiter who offered a list of drinks to satisfy to taste. This staff knows its drinks and menu. My wife wanted a cheeseburger and it was perfect. Myself tossed between the nachos and the lobster roll. Ended up with the Lobster Roll - good choice. read more

My partner and I chose this restaurant on our way down from Sequoia National Park, to celebrate our brand new engagement. We loved the Yelp photos of the food and the cool outdoor dining patio. When we arrived, it was pretty busy and with no host check in area, kind of difficult to tell where to get a table. After about 5 minutes, someone came to us to help us get seated. We opted for outside, it was cold that night but they have heaters around the tables. Also, worth noting the indoor seating area is small and dining outdoor gives you more elbow room (we had a stroller). The waiter came to take our drink order and although the staff was busy, he had a great attitude and was very kind. We were starving and luckily the wait for the food wasn't long at all. The plates came out looking delicious and everything tasted so good. When paying our check, we did notice once we got to the car that we paid the wrong tables bill. The difference was like $10 or so. My fiancé went back in to get it corrected and they were quick to void and recharge the right bill. Note: The restrooms were pretty messy and could use some TLC. I had to struggle with the doorknob for a few minutes as the door was stuck closed in the women's restroom side when I was trying to exit. Overall, cool spot with great food! read more

This place was pretty interesting. It had a total snack shack vibe but the food was actually pretty good. I started out with a salad and had the knife and fork burger and it was excellent. This place could use a total make over and it could be a really upscale place. The service was good and the location was awesome. Lots of room to grow and I hope that they do just that! So, after an afternoon of fishing with my grandson and hubby, we decided to stop here and have some lunch. The entrance is at the backside of the building facing the river. There's a nice outdoor patio and grass area facing the rivers. It was so nice, quiet, and peaceful outdoors. As we enter the restaurant, we were greeted by one of the servers she was very polite and friendly. We got to sit wherever we wanted. Our server was quick and very attentive. I ordered the blue cheese burger with sauté mushrooms and onions and to my surprise it had bacon yumm!!! The fries were great, too. There was plenty of parking when we were there. G they don't had enough for half the tables and they were full. When we ordered they did not have what we wanted, as they were changing from lunch to dinner menu. They did not charge for the beers as we left. Second time my wife's beer was HOT and they do not have a large selection of beer. I wanted one they did not have, them I ordered another they did did not have. I had to drink a bottle Modelo. Ordered a hamburger which was pretty good. We will NEVER GO BAKE. We were really looking forward to the Dylan Scott venue. We are always happy to support a local business, and having these outdoor concerts are nice to have in our home town. However, last night's venue was a huge disappointment. The lines were horrendous, as other reviews stated it took over 45 minutes to get drinks - if they had any. They ran out of 90% of the drinks listed, the ones they had were cool to warm. Not worth a 45 minute wait. Other major issues: - They were horribly understaffed, - Drink prices were not posted and varied - Pony kegs at an event this size - ran out of course - Water was not available at the bars (one staff member told a customer to go to the F@#&?#! spigot and get it himself) and only sold at food - Limited crowd control - People cutting in front of lines and bartenders served them despite customer complaints - Some staff were extremely rude (like in point above) - Advertised as a family event but clothing was scarce, people vaping, and the event smelled like a cannabis free for all - Dylan Scott was great, but started at 10:00 pm performing for only 45 minutes - Limited information regarding the venue's schedule of events (started at 6:00 but no entertainment for 2 1/2 hours) - No trash cans - Ran out of toilet paper This was our 3rd concert this summer, after this venue we are very skeptical to support this business in the future. The management is poor and they need to learn how to run venues properly. We had high hopes for this restaurant since we are Reedley lifers. read more

LONG STORY SHORT....... DO NOT GO HERE!!! We went on a Saturday, there was 2 other tables occupied at the time, we 6 adults and 3 kids in our party with 3 separate tickets. The service started off ok but once the water and food order was taken. The service changed for the worse, we were never asked if we needed refills on water or sodas however the table next to us was asked 4 separate times how everything was. All of our food came out in stages after approximately 40 minutes since ordering, My wife and I had fish and chips. Fish was approximately 5 inches long with only about an inch containing over cooked fish. Also, if you decide to come here anyway make sure to ask about the charges for stuff like ketchup. Yup that's a dollar extra. Then when looking at the ticket, there was a large party gratuity charge even though we all paid separately. I am not usually one that posts reviews on places that are trying to make a go of it. But come on. Please do better read more

5 stars for drinks, 4 stars for food. I was literally shocked that I can now get cocktails as well made as the Wakehouse is doing in Reedley. I have had the smoked rosemary old fashioned, and another bourbon based drink (can't remember the name, it's on the "secret" menu) and both were fantastic. I'm a cocktail snob and I like my drinks very bourbon forward and not super sweet. The old fashioned was made the right way. Honestly, the menu has really improved and there are some great concepts in there, but execution could just be a tad better on some things. Overall though, this has become my new favorite local dinner spot. read more

We love the Wakehouse, it's been about a year since we first started going and we are happy that they have been open throughout covid. I wrote the start of this review a few years ago - interesting enough it was saved in my drafts. Juanita and Tyler are by far our favorites and service is great. We came again 7/4 and the 'security' working is a total idiot. Acts like a police officer and Infringes the most ridiculous rules I've ever seen a regular ass restaurant have. He hassled my stepmom for trying to take an iced tea with her when we left... He even smell it to make sure it was an alcohol. Your restaurant served it! Ask the server don't make us feel like we're breaking some law well spending money at your establishment. We had a reservations or 6pm- they called us and told us we better get there early because they closed at 7pm. Such SHITTY ass service. Everyone in my group was uncomfortable. We were there last year during the 4th holiday weekend and covid and things were MUCH better. This place is a waste. read more

After seeing a few recent bad reviews for this eating establishment, I still went ahead and gave it a shot! I have been told I'm a risk taker anyway. Any who, upon arriving I noticed that there was a live band playing and weekend crowds were quickly approaching, so we got a table by the window to look at the beautiful river behind us (which was flooded by the way). We ordered our drinks and they came in a speedy amount of time. We ordered our dinners and our dinner salad. The salad came out within 5 minutes and our dinner about 5 minutes after that. There was a little mix up on our plates but we fixed it and thoroughly enjoyed our steaks.
