We started with a wedge salad, which we shared. While the dressing could've used a touch more flavor (perhaps a bit of salt), it was still a refreshing start to the meal. I ordered the clam chowder as my entrée, and it did not disappoint -- creamy, flavorful, and elevated even more by their delicious homemade hot sauce, which paired perfectly with the chowder. My husband had the chicken breast, which was tender, juicy, and very well-prepared. One standout touch was the bread and dipping oil -- truly one-of-a-kind and a great complement to the meal. We appreciated the excellent service, quality of the food, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting this establishment again in the near future.

The flavor of the coffee came through and it wasn't too sweet. The ambiance and decor of the shop was nice. There was plenty of seating, and a nice amount of sun came though the windows. The customer service was good, baristas were nice. There is free street parking in the front and a free city lot across the street. They charge extra for oatmilk and for decaf (I've never had an extra charge for decaf before). Maybe it's because it takes a bit more effort to prepare decaf? Other than that, it was a good experience and the coffee was good, I'll be back!

Honey fried chicken had a crunchy batter with sweet honey flavor. Chicken was tender and juicy. Red Caboose Cafe is one of my fav places to get this style chicken. Tater tots had a crispy exterior and decious potato flavor. Beef barley soup had a delicious flavor from the beef, barley, carrot, and seasonings. I have not seen this soup anywhere else. Roll was soft and had a tasty buttery flavor. Hospitality was excellent and everybody was treated like a regular. I met the owner Teresa Claborn and she was very gracious with her time talking about the trains and nearby National Parks. I look forward to visiting again to watch the trains run, trying more menu items, and enjoying the fine hospitality.
