Honestly, when I looked at the prices, there was only about a $2 difference, so we decided to get the full portion because you get a lot more food for just a little extra. We sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited for our food. The bartender was super friendly and made it a fun place to be! Our food also came out pretty quickly, which was a plus. Both the calamari and chicken nachos were really good! The chicken nachos were probably my favorite. The chicken had a lot of flavor, and I liked that they came with salsa as well. Everything was really tasty and made for the perfect appetizers while having drinks. Honestly, Livingstones is one of those places we like to stop by when we're in the Tower District, even if we're just there to have a drink and hang out. A lot of people have told us that we need to come back and try their dinner menu. I haven't had dinner here yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about their food, and after trying their calamari and chicken nachos, I can see why people recommend it. Overall, this is a great place to get drinks, hang out with friends, or enjoy some appetizers. If you don't want to sit at the bar area, they also have a separate area where you can sit down and enjoy a nice dinner with friends or even go on a date. Instead it was some slop from a can or a warmer filled with hot liquid broth. It was like cafeteria food or the heated up veggies one might get during a hospital stay. Completely unacceptable quality if you want to maintain the allure of a fancy restraunt serving 40+ dollar cuts of meat. Rice was mediocre, mashed potatoes were decent but again probably a cost cutting side. So all in all, the food wasn't something to brag about. The interior has some nice paintings of bare chested ladies. As a champion for women, it seemed a little extreme that in my sight i could see 6 titties, but as a man, excluding my champion for women title, I thought it was great. However, being with my mom and my woman made this dichotomy even more perplexing. The strangest part of all of this was when I went in the men's restroom there wasn't another topless woman painting. Instead it was some old dude. Wth? That's when I relaized it was like the rest of the experience here - unique, a bit outdated, and all over the place. Still enjoyable, but also pretty sad and confusing.

This place feels like more of meeting place for a quick drink with friends before heading out to your main drinking or eating spot. The custom espresso martini tasted mostly like coffee water, and the Pink Kitten was not creamy as advertised. - Food: The food lacked flavor; the chicken sandwich was bland and the sweet potato fries were soggy. - Service: The employee working in the food truck was unfriendly and needs to improve his customer service skills. Overall, it was a lackluster experience and I am in no rush to return immediately, however I am open to giving Moses McQueens another try in the future.
