Live music everyday...weekdays pretty chill...weekends vinyl music 5-7, live music 7-9, and DJ 9-until. Top tip: you can pick your vinyl records from their collection and hand them to the bar at 5...they play them until 7, and the live music begins. Daily lunch from 11-2, and happy hour from 3-6. Service is incredibly friendly. All staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are very good! Sushi is very good, and don't shy away from the specials... Decor is beautiful and comfortable...look for hidden details...like the ping pong table. Booths are more intimate and private, and decorated with vinyl records. This is a cool comfortable place...always playing great music...it's a place you don't really want to leave, but will definitely come back regularly.

This was our second time going to Oasis but for Brunch this time! We were seated outside in the courtyard which was quiet and had their take on fried chicken and waffles and smoked salmon crepe! Ofc we had to get mimosas and Marisol roll!

    Every roll was incredible

Everything was so delicious! We sat at the bar which was easy and convenient. The drink options were some of the best in the DMV. Each cocktail was crafted perfectly. The chefs nigiri deluxe had a great spread of 10 different fresh pieces of fish. All of the rolls were also fresh and amazing. Great spot will definitely return. Slightly pricey but for the quality it's worth it.

Second time here and both visits were great. Delicious and interesting cocktails, nice selection of Japanese whisky, and excellent sushi (though a bit pricey). Fun vibe, especially sitting the bar where service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

The food at Oasis Listening Bar was genuinely excellent. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well executed, and the ambiance is beautiful. It's a really unique spot in DC and the music driven atmosphere makes it feel special. Unfortunately, the end of the experience was uncomfortable. When I paid the $120 bill I didn't include a tip on the card. The staff member questioned it at the register and I said I would leave cash. When I realized I didn't have the right amount of cash, I left without tipping. As we were leaving, the staff member approached my friends outside and said that I hadn't tipped, which required me to come back inside and handle the situation. That felt awkward and unnecessarily confrontational. I still think the food and atmosphere are great, but the way the tipping situation was handled made the end of the evening uncomfortable. I hope the restaurant can address that, because otherwise it's a really enjoyable place.

Love this venue. Nice date-night vibes. Owner has some interesting design choices and we enjoy it. No live band when we went but had some soft jazz playing in the background. Servers were pleasant and sushi was good, not expectional. We enjoyed what we had and i recommend this place to anyone based on the vibes and drinks alone.

This is some of the freshest sushi I've had in Arlington. They have a variety of sushi and sashimi options. Large selection of Japanese Whiskeys. The cocktail menu was themed to songs, which was a great touch! It's on the pricier side, but worth it for the ambiance and music. Regular rolls average around $12 and specialty rolls averaging around $28 per roll. Cocktails are about $18-32. The front of the restaurant has a large, beautiful bar. In the back room are booths nested into cubbies surrounded by vinyl records. We had an incredible live music performance during dinner on a Monday night. Oasis The Listening Bar probably has at least 1,000 vinyls in its collection. Our waiter was present, but did not hover. There were a few times I felt like I was searching for him.

The ambiance is so nice! I went on a Monday night for dinner so there wasn't any live music, but the decor is very cool very vibey great for date night. I had the paradise roll very flavorful would definitely get it again! The chirashi bowl was phenomenal. The new style hamachi was not as good as I expected, but worth trying once if you really enjoy hamachi. I think the food is maybe a touch expensive; you can get similar dishes for a marginally more affordable price outside Arlington. HOWEVER THE REAL STAR OF THIS DINNER WAS THE DESSERT: EARL GREY CREME BRULEE!! I have never been so blown away by a restaurant dessert. Honestly, I would go back just for the dessert!

Oasis is an Arlington gem! I met up with a college friend on Saturday evening. We figured Oasis was owned by the same people who run Sisters Thai because of the same marquee over the bar. The restaurant consists mainly of bar and small table seats. Unlike other reviews, our server was attentive all night. We both ordered the City Hunter (twice, lol). The spiciness of the jalapeño-infused tequila mixed with the guava puree was mind-blowing. We both agreed our second drinks tasted even better. The shrimp tempura rolls were filling, and the teriyaki salmon with mixed vegetables and rice was so delicious. The highlight of the night was by far the Basque cheesecake. We couldn't stop gazing at how it was presented, from how it was shaped with the indentations on the sides, the burn marks along the top, and the blueberries on top with sauce underneath. I would come back for the cheesecake alone, but everything about Oasis was a 10/10, especially the jazz music and vinyl collection.

This place was sooo cool inside and i loved the live music plus regular music so much it was a great vibe in there. I failed to make a reservation so my friend and i had to sit at the bar but id definitely go again and request a seat by the live band. The food and drinks are pretty expensive and weren't all that amazing in my opinion. The drinks were definitely cute and sushi was refreshing but i wouldn't plan to have a full dinner here just drinks and apps.

I've been to this place twice and I can say that they have some of the freshest sashimi in the area. All the fish is clearly very fresh and cleanly prepared and the flavors are great. The ultimate winner for me is their chirashi which I got both times I went. The variety of sashimi is really good and there is an abundant amount of food. The service is excellent- I asked for the salmon in the chirashi to be replaced with a white fish and they had no problem doing this. They are also very attentive to each table without being overwhelming. The interior of the space is adorable! Perfect for a date night or just to eat alone with good vibes. My only thing is that the prices are a bit on the higher end, but worth it given the positives. Such a great addition to Clarendon!

The service here greatly decreases my score. The sushi itself is great! Albeit pricey, but worth it. I came in with a reservation and was lead back and forth from the front of the restaurant to the back until they finally gave us a booth to sit in. Our waitress spoke to us once and I never saw her again after this until the check came. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, another waitress noticed our impatience and took our orders. Our entire dinner took almost two hours--majority of which was waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence. While I liked the sushi, I don't know if I can handle the miscommunication and lack of preparation from the staff. I'd rather have cheap sushi with more attentive people.

Came here during the weekend. The restaurant is split into two sections, bar in front and a seating area in the back. We ordered a few dishes, all which tasted great and up to par with competitors in the area. Lastly there were no issues with service and it was easy to flag down a waiter. I look forward to coming back to try more of their other drinks

Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. The bartender told me the place doesn't come alive until about 9pm, so that's when it's crowded and probably off the chain.

I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

Could not ask for a better parking situation. Ordering was almost seamless. We got there at 1 o'clock, middle of the day on 4/18, plenty of empty tables. We went up to the bartender to take our order, and then gave them our table number and they delivered it. The QR code on the table only shows you the menu. It is not used for ordering, which was odd these days. Chill and super awesome bartender with the mother of all hickeys. Good pours. No Skrewball :-( I had the special, two hot dogs with tater tots. When it said double, I wasn't sure if that meant double the tater tots, but that meant actually two hot dogs. Really good. I also had the other special, the two pancakes. I meant to get the sausage, but they gave me the bacon instead. It was great. Well worth it. I thought that was the better value of the meals. They got a lot of board and card games. Very laid-back atmosphere, 90s and early 2000s pop on the music, comfortable seating, and good food. The prices were reasonable. This is one area that I think we are just going to have to deal with for quite some time. The give-and-take of prices,. Smothered tater tots, pancakes, two hotdogs with some tater tots, and three drinks came out to ~$55. NOT. BAD. Was it worth it? If this had been just a normal restaurant, I would've said no. It would've been more worth it if it had been about $40. But... nobody made us pay to use the board games, or the card games, and we sat there for three hours and had a really good time. So based on that, the fact they provide a venue for playing these games and hanging out for a few hours makes it all worth it. Really strange thing was that there was this balding guy with a beard that randomly showed up as a waiter. We had been dealing with a bartender, so this guy, kind of rude came on to us and we weren't sure what to do with him. He kind of blocked me from paying the bartender. Rude. Not a hangout spot every day, but certainly once a week, maybe once a month or more, definitely a place to meet up if you got a group. I was really surprised by the diversity of the people that were there. A lot of chess players, a whole table of middle-aged women, lots of different people playing games. I would give them five stars, but not quite perfect. The rude guy at the end was so odd. Otherwise, great location, great parking, the food was good, good value, and fun.

At first, you'll see what looks like just a pizza shop -- but if you head in and either use the side door or walk through and climb a set of stairs, you'll find the speakeasy upstairs. Very cool vibe: dark, cozy, and date-night ready. Drinks: 4/5 I ordered their take on an Old Fashioned, and it was definitely the highlight of the night but sweeter than I would have liked. They served it over a stamped solid block of ice (a small detail I ). My friend was abstaining from alcohol that night and asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail. To our surprise, they didn't just hand her a lemonade like most places -- they actually made her a crafted virgin drink, which she loved. Food: 3/5 We ordered fries and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The fries turned out to be waffle fries (not mentioned on the menu) and were overly crispy, so not really our favorite. The pizza was fine -- clearly sourced from the shop downstairs -- but it leaned oily and didn't really wow us. Service: 5/5 Pretty standard -- nothing over the top, but not neglectful either. Drinks came out reasonably fast, food followed, and we were checked on enough without it feeling pushy. Vibes: 4/5 The speakeasy itself is definitely the selling point. Dark, intimate, and stylish -- you feel like you've found a little hidden spot. All in all, the cocktails are the reason to come, especially if you're into whiskey. The food was forgettable, but it's convenient that you can order pizza upstairs. We spent about $30-40 for drinks and snacks, which isn't shocking for Old Town. Would I go back? Maybe if I was already in the area, but for a dedicated whiskey night, I'd probably head somewhere else.
