Store always has new product going out daily as well as monthly half off sales but attitude of staff / cashier can be rude / nice nasty

This place was good about 15 years ago the people were friendly and the deals was great,now they just got junk

My wife looked online and the biggest thrift store in the area. In my opinion it's like Snoopy's doghouse (from the Peanuts comics and movies); it's way bigger inside than it appears to be. I am very satisfied with this thrift shop overall. They have great variety, clean items, and reasonable prices. They offer discount days (Mondays-20 percent off for seniors, 1/2 off sales, etc.) One thing I've noticed is how some customers try to bully the staff! They want to haggle over prices, scold them, or otherwise demean them. The professional staff are courteous and know the rules. People who don't want to follow them become disgruntled. I noticed a woman who was tossing items out of a cart was asked politely not to go through them as they weren't priced yet. She loudly berated the clerk, then the manager, and stomped off. Then I see this same horridly behaving customer had the audacity to post an ugly yelp review from her own perspective (=not what I saw or heard at all! So I was about to donate my things to this small business but decided not to I like to support small businesses but when you are rude to people on the phone and don't have the courtesy to speak respectfully on the phone I'm not about to give you the time. This thrift store is an absolute gem! I always find name brand items and really cool stuff for extremely cheap. The staff has always been really nice. I love going on the first Saturday of the month everything is half off so you end up getting nice stuff for like $1-$2 each! Definitely recommend if you love getting good deals. read more

This little thrift store is really the oasis in Beaumont. What a find, is what I always say when I drop-in. I've gotten so many toys for my kids including super hero house that cost a fortune and got em for less than $5... I got a whole collection and they were loved and now being loved by my friends kids. I have found amazing art work, just take time to stop by here and there and find your treasure. I have found beautiful lamps that are magazine expensive, great quality.... I have found little nicknacks that made me smile and I haven't seen anywhere else. This is a family owned store, usually two beautiful sisters at the front with the kindest hearts and smiles. They are very deserving of their community (Beaumont) to stop by and pay a visit. This thrift store is big and has so much offers and specials and the lady's there are always so good to the kiddos. Bad customer service. I showed up 5 minutes before closing. I told the sales associate standing at the door, "I know you close in 5min but I know exactly what I'm grabbing." Was searching for treasures today. I found this awesome thrift store. Pretty well organized you will find things that you are searching for I was really amazed. All the women's tops are $2.98. I found two really cute tops and a Disney plush for $1.91. Lots of great finds! They do charge $1 for the credit/debit machine so I would suggest coming with cash. read more

This is the absolute worst thrift store I've ever visited, and I am am avid thrifter. The place is a mess, and carries so much junk. If that weren't enough, the customer service-by owner Kim, is TOXIC. She doesn't know anything about customer courtesy and is RUDE. She will charge your debit card $1.00 without verbally letting you know. When I objected to this, she blamed me saying I chose to use my card, and I didn't read her tiny sign. It's not the money that bothered me, it's the principal. She takes your money without letting you know-in my opinion, that's stealing! She lost her temper with me too. She started calling me disgusting, and looked like she was going to get violent. I was very upset, and will never visit this slop shop again. I would give it a zero. Ok, I'm wondering why theres no reviews, but yet I can tell someone's reviewed it? Ok well Let Me Get Crackin!!! My daughter - The Vintage Thrift Shop queen told me about this place, she told me 2 years ago (I know it was a while back) and its one of those hidden needle in a haystacks! Its not small, it looks like you have to go in there and dig, but let me tell you, its worth it!!! We went there recently & scored on a bunch of sweaters, and if they don't have prices & only have the colored "pokies", they are $2.50 a piece (under 3 bucks basically), I scored on a couple sweaters, she got a ton of them, and could not believe how cute they were!!! They also have Furniture, Books, some electronics, knick knacks and up in the front is like their boutique stuff, they also have shoes, but the good ones usually go fast.... Theres something for everyone here, but you have to be a person who likes the treasure hunt, or this is place not for you, I also like that it goes to a very good cause (cancer). So bottomline this is one of those places I love to go to & take a peek cuz I always end up finding something worthy & its among my list of thrift stores I have mapped out, from Redlands, Yucaipa, Calimesa, Beaumont & Banning (that cute one w/the little old sweet ladies on Ramsey, I see them after I come here to Oasis :)..... read more

I have been going here since I was a child, and though its not the cleanest place their prices are typically great so I'm down to dig through the random stuff to find something sweet. Today I haggled like I usually do and the owner started yelling at me, claiming not only do they not change prices (which is fair--their choice) but that they have never allowed haggling (a lie--I have haggled here for years with no problem, especially for items slightly broken, stained, missing buttons, etc). It was very unprofessional of them to blow up at me. Hopefully it was just a fluke day but I won't be returning for a while--there are lot of thrift shops in the area. read more

I'm new to this area and was looking for a good place for thrift shopping and drop off donations. This is not the place. They never accept donations. They have a bunch of stuff on the floor by the front entrance. (which trash on the floor, attracts rats) Upon walking in it's so dark in this place. Must be cause they are trying to cover up the dust. I saw this place as a shop of just trash. They were trying to sell a 2 step ladder for $10, the ladder didn't have have the first step attached anymore. Why even bother to sell it, trash it. The furniture is a over priced. Couches that they have are so dirty. Makes me think they pick them up from the streets and try to sell them. Avoid this place. I don't know how they are still open! read more

Super organized they have everything you need for your household. I would definitely shop here again. There is a lot of furniture. An amazing selection of bed frames, lots of kitchen items, clothes are fairly organized, large selection of lamps, selection of electronics many still in the box, huge selection of linens. The owner called my mother and her 80 year old friend stupid just because they asked about the senior discount multiple times! The owner threw the things and told them she wouldn't sell to them!! This is an older dirtier store but semi organized i shop there about every other week while waiting on my grandson from school his brother is two and accompanies my shopping today he was having a hard day i guess he was tired he is two and he was crying a female store employee approached me to let me know that my grandson "screaming" made two customers complain and leave the store. instead of being compassionate human beings and saying anything i can help with ? they asked me to leave the store which i was already trying to do. how sad how ugly how inhumane i hope u r proud of yourself. god bless you and help you. you need it read more

So....my elderly mother has been coming here for a couple years now. Not only to BUY but to DONATE! We donate everything here....when they're accepting (which is hardly ever). There were a few bad customer service encounters that made my mother uncomfortable but she still managed to get over it and still shop/donate there. Recently, my mother and husband went to pick up furniture, which we picked up four days after we purchased it cause we needed to wait for a truck to pick up. During the purchase, the lady was super sweet and saying to just pick up when we can and to keep them posted and how people sometimes take months to pick up their crap! We got a truck and went to pick up and the lady treated my mother so terrible. Yelling at her and the other workers cause the worker offered her tape and she ran in to go get it. lol this happened in front of my husband as well. Never again will we ever step back in that store! I'm sorry my mother shopping and spending hundreds of dollars in your crusty store almost every single week was such an inconvenience for you ladies! You don't have to worry about that ever again! :) oh and 2 small tip for your business...1.) get rid of all the junk that been sitting there for months and can't sell....so you don't have to keep rejecting donations. 2.) stop gossiping about each other where your customers can hear :D peace! read more

This has been my go to thrift store for at least 10 years. I grew up in the area but live in New York City now and never miss a chance to stop by when I'm back in town. Yes, you have to be someone who really likes treasure hunting and it can be a little warm in the summer months but I have found some awesome clothing over the years. The manager or whoever she is has the ABSOLUTE worst attitude ever. I have been there a couple of times, she is usually hard to ignore. Today I was in the store when I overheard noise towards the front of the store. She was frustrated about helping a customer because she was so " busy " and when the customer asked her about something related to what she was helping her with........she decided to start talking nasty. By nasty language, I mean using " fucking " to describe her frustration. Don't let me forget how she stated that she wasn't mad at the customer as if she could be. Oasis is the thrift shop that aims to help the community l, this is why their prices are so cheap and affordable ! They don't try to get rich off their community their here to help :) ! I asked if an employee who had helped me before was working and cashier Kim told other worker it was none of my business when she thought I was out of earshot. They were In front of me ready to check out and i overheard one say she only had $20 to spend (in Spanish).. once she got to the the register the DISGRACE OF AN OWNER was ringing her items up when the elderly lady asked how much was it so far and she responded with saying "$13" the lady asked if she could have the senior discount and she said it was already applied to where the lady added more items and asked again how much was it so far and this is when this hateful human started screaming at her and saying "are u stupid or are u playing stupid?!" To where i told the ladies to leave there things and not buy anything from this MONSTER and one said to me "but i really want these" and thats when the owner snatched the things and told them she would not be selling them anything!! Went in to make a donation and was treated very rudely. I carried the bags in and no one said anything. As I was putting down the last item a woman walked over and asked "what's that?" i told her it was a donation and she sharply said "we are NOT taking donations. We have a sign posted, I know people do not want to read it but we have a sign." I had not seen a sign and asked where it was posted. She then stated again sharply, on the gate." Not having come in through the parking lot I did not know where the gate she was talking about was located. When she told me I went to look and it was indeed posted on the gate in the back of the store with a car parked in front of it. I informed the woman that I was trying to help and did not need to be yelled at to which she responded​ I was the only one yelling. I left the bags and walked out. I am a cancer patient and believe in this cause but do not wish to be treated with disrespect so I will NOT be going back to this place. read more

So I got a refrigerator here half off. It was a great deal. They delivered locally for a low rate. Unfortunately the refrigerator did not work. The light turned on and it sounded like it was running but it never got cold. The next day I went in and the owner (I'm assuming) was very kind to me. She provided me with an even better refrigerator, delivery included, at no charge. She stated she wanted to "right the wrong." I appreciated her kindness as well as the kindness of every staff member I came in contact with including the men that delivered. Wish I would have remembered their names to thank them personally. I honestly thought an item might have been tagged wrong and because I asked about it I was yelled at and told to get out.
