Over the past 10 years it has been difficult to find a stylist who can cut and color my thick, long hair . I've been spoiled by Las Vegas premiere stylists who really look for color and cuts that compliment you. Let's face it when you have thick long hair it's expensive to have it done so I've been bummed paying the high cost for mediocre work since moving back to Cali! On a leap of faith and desperation I called oasis for an appt with whoever was available with my hectic schedule and they placed me with Estella. And I could not have gotten a better artist. She's sweet, quiet, and attentive to her work. She gave me the dimension in color that I've been seeking for the past 10 years. It's been a few months and some follow up appointments for touch ups ( I gray quickly) but I cannot recommend her enough. I've finally found my girl!!! read more

Hi I'm Laura and I happen to have had an appointment with Stella at 9am on Tuesday, keep in mind is my first time and my 2 daughters were going to get a hair cut as well. So we walk in with my other 2 baby boys we are waiting for a while until someone comes and ask me what I needed so I say I have an appointment at 9am so she is like yes with Stela great by then Stela is walking in with her approx 3/4 year old son so I have a 2 year old and I tell him oh look you can play you have a friend mean while the receptionist is asking a lady on my left what she is waiting on and she happens to say Stela ‍ okay at the time I'm taking my 2 year old son towards the boy and the boy is coughing like crazy then wipes his bugerly nose yuck how can you bring your son to work when he is sick?????? Also since they double booked Stela they were trying to have me come back another day I called another place and they took me right away and this place was a lot more cleaner, friendly and also fast as soon as I walked in receptionist took care of me. Don't come here , I was contemplating putting up this review but it's been a month since my haircut and I'm still so upset about it. I came in with long beautiful hair I just wanted some layers but to keep the length and no more than an inch trim I explained 3 times . Now my hair is really short, about 3-4 inch difference, which took me forever to grow . Some of the layers are choppy as well. He gave me the French girl bob vibe I was looking for and I really appreciated the education on what products and tools I should be using and that he took plenty of time to make sure all the layers were even and everything was fine tuned. Natalie is my go to for all of my hair needs! She's been cutting my hair for 7 years now. Last September I decided I needed a little change bc I was tired of my red. She went in and did a balayage on my hair and I was in love!!! I went back last week for a root touch up and a haircut, I left it up to her bc she knows best and may I say she did amazing! I visited Oasis salon with very damaged hair. It was dry with a lot of split ends. Taren was my stylist and she went above and beyond expectations. I wanted to go as light as possible without causing damage to my hair. My hair was a dark red and red is the hardest color to get out. Taren did a color correction and trimmed my hair in layers so I could keep a lot of my length and still get the healthy hair i desired. My hair came out looking and feeling better than i ever could have expected. Not to mention she was down to earth and made me feel comfortable. I had such a great experience at Oasis! I had reached out on yelp, looking for someone with experience in thick, wavy/curly hair and perms. Oasis had reached out to me regarding my request and scheduled a consultation. Coilin made me very comfortable throughout my consultation and walked me through everything she planned to do for me. I didn't feel pressured at all by her to schedule an appointment, but I fell in love with her warmth, I didn't hesitate! She was very sweet in keeping me updated through texts and confirming my appointment. The day of my appointment I didn't have to wait at all! She was ready for me immediately! I was in the salon for a good 4 hrs, just like she estimated, and she was spot on about the cost after everything was done! My results are absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be more happy! I feel I have to update this review, due to their lack or rather misguided costumer service. I had called Oasis to schedule a hair cut with "Danny" whom I was lucky enough to find after numerous disappointing cuts with several other stylists and shops. Oasis staff informed me that Danny had left, I asked if they could put me in touch with him, and was told that they could not and would not. A hair cut/stylist is somewhat personal, and when Oasis refused to assist me in getting in touch with my stylist I was very disappointed. The costumer should always come first. I have no ill feelings towards Oasis staff, as all of the staff/stylists had always been welcoming and friendly. I am directing this negative feedback at management, whom refused to assist me with my request. FYI, I found Danny, he is now styling at "Jeremy Christopher's" in Victorville 760 952 2277. As mentioned my issue is with the management of Oasis, as they should always put the costumer first. I had an appointment and literally when I got there about 3 people came out without a mask and there was a couple of people inside without one as well. They have no precautions for other people's health here. You never know who might have COVID and for them to not care to protect themselves and other people is selfish. They claim to follow Covid guidelines yet no one was wearing a mask. As soon as you walk in the store it had a horrible smell I had to step out because I got nauseous. I went to Taren and she did an amazing job on my hair. It was previously bleached and covered up with a dark brown out of desperation lol but I asked Taren if she could get any kind of carmel tones in my hair. She was straight up and told me she could and I absolutley love it ! I had to cut the length quite a bit but i knew that going into it because of the damage I did. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I was able to get an appointment right away with a stylist who seemed to be somewhat new to haircutting, Susan. When I arrived at the salon at my appointment time I had a mimimal wait- a HUGE plus in my book!! Though, if I had to wait longer I wouldn't have minded chillin in their plush couches and reading the ample supply of magazines! Susan was sweet and allowed me to tell her exactly what I wanted. She really seemed to listen to me rather than give me that attitude I get often from stylist that they want to just do what they want. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with a nice new 'do. I took off one star just because it didn't seem that my hair was totally 'finished' ... I like the cut but next time I think I need to talk to her a little more to get exactly what I want. read more

I came in at my appointment time and Maria was my hair stylist. I went in just for a cut but ended up getting color as well. So glad I did because she is amazing at her job!
