Andhra 2 America - Street Style Chicken Noodles

I drive past this food truck all the time, and every time I go by there is a large crowd huddled in…read morethe parking lot of this Indo-Chinese inspired food truck. I certainly did not regret my decision to join the masses, the food here was solid and definitely affordable. Andhra 2 America tends to focus on street food rather than curries that you would find at the many other Indian spots in the area. If you are in the mood for a good dosa, this is the place to be! I had the Madhurai Malli Dosa, which had the potato filling but also coriander paste. It came with 3 different sauces, all of which were delicious. The dosa itself was fantastic, it was soft and flakey and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly, it had plenty of spice to it! I would say the dosas are the highlight of Andhra 2 America. When you spend some time hanging out by the truck, you will see families with plates of dosas, it seems to be their specialty! However, this isn't the only thing they sell. Their chicken manchuria is like a super awesome sauced nugget. It has some heat, but lots of other savory and bold flavors to it. The veggie noodles are a good option for something with less sting to it. I would say it teeters on the verge of being bland, but gives your meal some variety. The double egg and chicken fried rice is a step in the Chinese direction of food, with Indian flavors with Chinese techniques. A solid option for sure. If you are like me and are intimidated to navigate into this spot, fear not! The only entrance is along Davis Drive Rd. But once you are in, you are going to be treated to some pretty great food. Don't forget to warm up your palate with their complimentary Chai, it is part of the experience!

We tried the street-style chicken noodles and chili chicken. The chili chicken was spicy and delicious. The noodles had good flavor but were a bit too oily for my taste. Since it's a food truck parked near a church, there isn't a seating area--so it's mostly takeout or you can eat in your car. Overall, a good spot if you're craving Indo-Chinese or Indian street-style food and want something quick.

Today was my first visit and I knew it would be something special. The owners, brother's Nick and Bryce, have mastered the flavors of the iconic cuisine of the Lone Star State. The brisket is incredible, and when you add a sausage link, it takes it to another level. My side of Jalapeño Cream Corn tasted like it came from my grandmother's kitchen...creamy, comforting, and with just the right amount of heat. The setting adds its own magic. Located in Cary, the drive takes you through the city, but as soon as you turn onto Good Hope Church Rd and turn into Phillips Farms of Cary, you're transported straight to the country - rolling pastures, open space, and a relaxed atmosphere. The scenery alone sets the tone, but then the music kicks in. Texas' own Stevie Ray Vaughn, followed by classic country tunes. Between the landscape, the music, and the smell of barbecue in the air, I felt like I was back home like a warm Texas memory. The staff is fantastic...kind, helpful and they clearly take pride in what they do. They serve from a large food truck, but the set up feels like your at a favorite outdoor restaurant. You dine outdoors at picnic tables under a pavilion, giving the whole experience, a cozy downhome feel. And here's one of the best parts: they are opening a second brick-and-mortar location in downtown Durham in November 2026!! It's no surprise they have earned a spot in the Michelin Guide as a barbecue favorite...they are, without a doubt, Dampf Good!!!
