An acquaintance shared his Great Harvest experience and how much he enjoyed the sandwiches. I popped in this afternoon after my midday appointment. I really enjoyed the Baja turkey sandwich on Dakota bread. This was very flavorful and every ingredient was so fresh and the sandwich is prepared and presented very nicely. My concern was the bread getting wet but it wasn't at all. I would have to agree with this being "the best sandwich on earth" as mentioned on Good Harvest website cafe menu. Baja Turkey is made with turkey breast with chipotle honey lime yogurt sauce, shaved cabbage, pickled red onions, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. I didn't get avocado and added bacon and WOW! What a sandwich this was. Every bite was bursting with excitement. Don't walk, run over there to get yours. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to try Breakfast. Great Harvest is close proximity to areas I frequent and had never really noticed Great Harvest in all these years. I'm glad I have experienced what they have to offer. The service was pleasant. The staff were helpful. They offer all types of fresh baked goods and were also offering samples. I passed on the baked sweet goodies but I bet they're just as delicious. It's a small cafe style space and it somewhat reminds me of LaFarm. read more

Came here to grab lunch recently and had a good time. First, parking was simple, as Great Harvest Bread is part of a strip mall and there were plenty of spots. While we were standing in line, one of the staff members asked us if we wanted to try some of the fresh bread, and of course we said yes :) we picked the Parmesan-y one and it was very tasty! For our actual lunch, I snagged the Italian on white bread, while my wife got the Green Goddess turkey sandwich on honey wheat. The food was prepared quickly and the staff member who delivered it was super nice! My sandwich was pretty tasty, with a solid olive tapenade, but I kind of wish I had picked a different bread since the white ended up being nice and soft but also a little boring :) Hey, they recommended that I pick that one! Also, each sandwich came with a pickle, which my wife described as being a bit too salty - I'm not a huge fan of pickles so I passed mine over to my wife. Overall, my experience was very solid. I'm not sure I would drive out of my way to come here, but if I was in the area, I'd definitely come back. read more

I am new to the area and I am really glad I found this place. It's turned out to be one of my favorites in the triangle. They have simple whole food sandwiches and desserts. Service is excellent and I can usually eat there since it quiet. My favorite is their carrot cake bar. read more

Great Harvest has fresh and amazing bread, delicious scones and some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I used to order catering and their sandwich platters are truly loaded with ingredients and flavor. My favorite bread is the Dakota bread and they will slice it for you . The scones are also some of my favorites and not too sweet. They offer indoor seating and you can order breakfast sandwiches or lunch sandwiches in addition to coffee drinks. I have visited GHB in several states, but never in my new home region. I met up with a friend, and I ordered the sesame chicken grain bowl salad. It has chunks of grilled chicken breast, peanuts, cashews, carrots, sesame seeds, toasted wheat, quinoa, on mixed greens & cabbage with miso vinaigrette. It was a huge portion, and it was super fresh, plenty of crunch throughout. The staff was super friendly. They even gave me a shortbread cookie sample. I also asked them to refill my iced tea and they did it for free and with no problem. read more

I received a $5 birthday coupon in my email as I subscribe to their e-newsletter. I thought I'd buy a sweet treat or a loaf of bread, but decided to try one of their sandwiches instead. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which is egg, choice of cheese (I choose cheddar) and either bacon or ham (I got ham) on choice of bread and has a garlic herb spread on it. I really didn't know what to expect and it was delicious! I'd definitely get it again. I browsed a little while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It was around 9ish and the place was hopping. I used the hand sanitizer by the front door and I don't know if they sell it or buy it locally, but it smelled wonderful! We stopped here to see what they offered and were surprised at the different fresh breads they had. It was late in the day, so some of their bread was sold out, so obviously a popular place! I ended up with the cinnamon bread, just could not resist. Oh my, it was so good, so fresh and with a nice amount of cinnamon. The young lady that was at the register told me it was good to make french toast with. I would have never thought of that, but I tried it, and wow, she was so right. French toast never tasted so good. I would buy it again just for that!!! My grandson loves cinnamon rolls, so he really enjoyed this bread toasted with butter. Really impressed. Stopped by for lunch before a job interview. The food came out fast and was extremely good. I had the Spicy Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese. It was full of flavor. 10/10. I have never walked into a place and encountered more genuinely friendly people than at Great Harvest Bread! My friends have raved about this place for quite awhile, but this was my first visit. When I arrived, my friend who walked there from her house was sitting outside drinking a bottle of water. She said when she went in to buy her water, they wouldn't let her pay. They told her it was on the house! When I said Yes to a sample of their cinnamon monkey bread, I was given a huge piece! Oh my, it was delicious. So disappointed in the pepperoni roll. Prior to the new owners the pepperoni roll was our go to. Now we need to find another place. I think you should just call it a roll since there is hardly any pepperoni or cheese in it. Unlike what the description: "We fill it with aged pepperoni, Mozzarella cheese, and a touch of garlic butter and seasonings. Everything that I've purchased from Great Harvest has been wonderful. My favorite's are the iced sugar cookies, Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon bread. We enjoy the goods so much we ordered cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning and Virginia rolls for dinner. You can't go wrong with anything from here. The pancake mix makes delicious pancakes for weekend mornings. I also love that it is a healthier option with all of the whole grains and whole wheat. read more

A neighbor picked up orders from this place for a bunch of us. I got the farmhouse bread and cinnamon rolls. They were both amazing. Bread was soft and tasted great. Baked same day. Cinnamon rolls were large in size. Tons of cinnamon in them. Which I love. Prices were reasonable since its being baked fresh you are gonna pay more than a store which is normal and so worth it. First time visiting their new location. It's bigger and nicer than the old location. There are a few tables inside. They have sandwiches now. They are always super friendly and have loads of samples. I tried the "scone of the day" which was a cinnamon chip with cream cheese. It was exactly what I was looking for ! I got 2 of those for breakfast tomorrow. Can't wait to eat one !! Delicious bread and excellent customer service. After passing Great Harvest numerous times, I stopped in to check out their breads. They do run out of certain flavors so if you have a specific item you want, go early or order it in advance. It was my first visit and I arrived around 5 pm so they were out of one of the breads I wanted to try. This was no issue since they had several other breads and desserts to choose from. The employee working the counter was so helpful in explaining to me the ingredients and the other items/deals they offer. They also have samples available so that you can try certain products before buying them. I decided on their high protein low carb country crunch ($6.84) and extreme cinnamon ($7.60). Both we really enjoyed. The high protein low carb bread was pre-sliced, flavorful, and filling. The extreme cinnamon is like a bread cinnamon roll and is not sliced (otherwise it would probably unravel and lose cinnamon). Both breads were fresh and tasty. We plan to return soon to try some of their other items! read more

We ordered our lunch and the staff was extremely friendly. Our food came out very quickly; maybe three minutes after ordering. My Harvest Veggie sandwich was heavenly and, by the time I finished it, I wanted a second one. My friend's Baja Turkey looked delicious too. Before leaving, we decided to get a loaf of the pumpkin chocolate chip bread that we had tried a sample of before lunch.
