We visited Howard Amon Park a few times as it's located along the Columbia River Trail with many different amenities here for multiple activities. There are many playgrounds, a small wading area for kids, water fountains, bathrooms, dog poop bags, benches, BBQ grills, and the best part - swimming docks. On those sunny days, Howard Amon Park is a great place to hang out in and cool down with a swim in the Columbia River. Howard Amon Park is located in the downtown area of Richland, walking distance to many businesses and lodging options.
