Came in after seeing such high reviews and I was in the area. Parking is tight if you try to park up front I saw additional parking down the hill. Was immediately greeted and sat. Server was just not good that's why I took a star. She wasn't very attentive and everything took so long to be able to do anything. The drinks were well made! The Oaxaca dip was good outside of something tasted very charred. The elote in a bowl was not very flavorful. It was very soupy I could have done more tajin. Tacos were good.

This is my second time here, and I enjoy my visit each time. Finding parking was easy. The food is always delicious. I got elote and quesobirria and it was so good! The elote is a must try. We decided to get the Oaxaca sunset pitcher to share. Between the three of us, we had about 3 glasses in total. It was delicious. If you like passion fruit, I would try this drink. Our waitress was very attentive and our orders came timely. I love the music they play as well. Nice to have in the background and not too loud. Absolutely recommend this place.

some of the best i've had so far in georgia

The small restaurant greet you as soon as you walk through the door, they are very polite and have a lot of hospitality. The food is amazing as down to the steak tacos. The flavor is amazing today I had the rare enchiladas and wow the flavor is great. This is my new favorite Mexican spot

Update: Things have gone downhill when it comes to service. They don't care as muchbas they used to and the servers will just walk by you and not make eye contact so they don't have to help you.

I have been coming to Oaxaca for a few years, and I have never been disappointed. The food is always so flavorful and the drinks are always just as good. It's a casual restaurant and the vibes are fairly authentic. It's not the biggest restaurant, but there is still plenty of seating if that makes sense. This particular time, I went around brunch, and they do have a brunch menu. You can also order from the regular menu as well if you don't want to eat from the brunch one. I got the chilaquiles and a pastor taco for my meal. Both were very good. The chilaquiles was a huge portion, and I was honestly able to eat only about half of it. The pastor taco was so good. It was definitely a little dry, but they have sauces that you can dip and/or drizzle. I washed it all down with a spicy pineapple margarita, which was very refreshing. Overall, Oaxaca is a great place to go for brunch, lunch, or dinner. The service is great and the prices are pretty moderate. They have a huge menu, so you are bound to find something you like. And if you're not too sure, ask your server. They do a great job at answering questions you may have as well as offering recommendations.

I visited Oaxaca last night and my experience was a 10/10. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered the Texas fajitas, and I normally order a small side of queso with mine. The portions were large, so I ate majority of the steak and about half of the shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly! The fajitas came with a large amount of sautéed bell peppers and onions, which I appreciate. We also ordered a pitcher of one of the margaritas and it was delicious. I will absolutely be back!

I recently discovered this gem of a New Mexican taco spot that our friends invited us to , and it's already become one of my new favorite places! The food was absolutely delicious and didn't hold back it was a huge portion, which is always a win in my book. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared. To top it off, they made my husband's birthday extra special with a sweet treat for him and his friends who were also celebrating birthdays. It was such a nice gesture that added a personal touch to the experience. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll definitely be back!!

Absolutely love this place. It's a slightly intimate space with lovely authentic decor. If you are a tequila lover, the drink menu is TOP TIER. There is an extensive mezcal and tequila tasting menu. My husband and I had the Oaxaca Sunset (the PERFECT cocktail) and Mezcalita for drinks. For appetizers we had the queso and the salads and chips they provide for everyone, which were both very tasty. Tacos ordered: fried shrimp (they default to grilled but were so kind to offer to accommodate the request for fried), suadero, chorizo, grilled chicken, barbacoa and shrimp ala Diablo. NONE of the tacos disappointed. We cannot wait to come back. The customer service was amazing as everyone was super nice and patient. Also very convenient parking as it is a part of a small plaza.

This was my first time here and I must say I love the atmosphere here. All the staffs were really friendly and music was great. The restaurant is in a very tight plaza off of old norcross road and parking can be a little crazy. I came her on a Tuesday night and parking was bad. I guess everyone wanted tacos for Taco Tuesday!! The food was very good. First thing I saw that caught my eyes on the menu was the corn on the cob!! It was amazing, the corn was so soft and sweet. I been in Georgia for 16 years and this was the first place that I found that serves corn on the cob of course it does not compare to California corns. The drinks here was so delicious! Our serve was a great help recommending drinks. I'm not a fan of really sweet drinks and she was able to help me choose one. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Found this little gem in Lawrenceville while looking for a Mexican restaurant. We were intrigued by the photos and decided to try it out. We put our name on the list and waited in our car (30min wait). PARKING is limited because it's shared with some other businesses and restaurants. We were lucky to find one but we saw people driving around and waiting for a spot. We got our table and checked the menu. The waitress was nice and we asked for recommendations. She recommended the SIZZLING MOLCAJETE (their signature dish - $20.99) that is basically a bowl of green tomatillo sauce with meat around it. It was amazing! We ordered it with steak and shrimp and the steak was melting in my mouth. The sauce was amazing! Everything was full of flavor. The dish also comes with white rice, beans with cheese and chorizo. The tortillas tasted like store bought ones and I don't like those. The chips and salsa were free and they were also pretty good. We also ordered queso but it was just average. The restaurant ambience is nice. Definitely coming back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lawrenceville!!! This time I got the shrimp and chicken taco on a flour tortilla. The meat was seasoned well on both and it comes with onions and cilantro on the top. They were ok , they would be better with sour cream and cheese but that was extra. The rating was based off of the tacos . The street corn was good but this was my first time eating street corn. The service and ambiance was good like usual.

10/10 ambience!! I tried the seasonal huitlacoche mushroom quesadilla and its safe to say I was not a fan of them but we got tacos and they were killer!! The chips and salsa were really delicious and refreshing. Everything was super fresh and tasted delicious! I would definitely recommend if you're in the area looking for yummy mexican food! They give decent portions for a good price and service was friendly. I saw a sign that said they had bottomless horchatas (unfortunately while I was leaving) and will have to come back to try some!

Its a yes for me, this was my second visit for lunch and they did not disappoint! It took a minute to get my ticket but for the most part I was happy with the food and the service! The place is kinda small but adorable. The prices were typical Mexican restaurant prices but the drinks a delicious. Parking maybe a problem, but I think they have more parking around back. This was my second Taco Tuesday date, but it will not be my last!

Not at TLH, but PERIOD. It was that good. (I'll have to think about it a bit, but it's definitely in the top 5.) My single complaint: it wasn't hot. It was warm, but not hot. Didn't make it any less wonderful, but I would have liked it a little warmer. The meat was perfectly cooked and lean. The green sauce was extremely tasty. The rice was nice and buttery. The green beans with onions might actually have been the best thing on the plate, or maybe I was just in the mood for sautéed green beans. For my appetizer, I picked esquite, which is basically Mexican street corn (elote) cut off the cob. It came "separated," meaning that they didn't mix it together; I got a HEAP of corn, some mayo, some crumbled cheese, and chili powder, and mixed it to my own favorite ratio. I didn't get a picture because I was too busy eating it. Server was very attentive and I didn't have to wait at all for anything.

I ordered about 5 tacos for a corporate lunch about 20 minutes from our office. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience this time. The food we received was burnt and overcooked, as seen in the pictures below. One order of tacos was actually a quesadilla instead. When we proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them they insisted that we drive 20 minutes back with the burnt food and the receipt in order to receive compensation, however due to the distance from us that was impossible for us to do and they could not provide us any other alternatives. The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

I had no idea who owned it before walking in (though I later read it's run by a mother and daughters team), but as soon as I stepped inside, I could feel the care and pride that's clearly been poured into this space. The interior is clean, colorful, and welcoming--everything from the decor to the spotless bathrooms signals that cleanliness and presentation matter here. I stopped in around 1 PM on a weekday and found a calm, relaxed atmosphere with three other tables of customers. There was one server on duty who managed the space well--attentive without being intrusive. She brought out complimentary blue tortilla chips and salsa. While the chips weren't fresh-made, they were decent--especially considering they're free. For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with corn tortillas. The vegetables were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both the rice and beans had great flavor. The only real downside? The portion of refried beans was tiny--maybe two tablespoons at most. When I asked about it, the server mentioned it was due to "portion control," though that reasoning felt a bit unclear. She also said that their refried beans and black beans are vegetarian (which is unusual - most restaurants the refried beans are not). All in all, despite the just-okay chips and the skimpy bean portion, Lolita's delivered where it matters: flavor, cleanliness, and service. With a few small tweaks, it could easily be a 20 out of 10. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, definitely go give them your support. Local gems like this deserve to stick around.
