I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and it did not disappoint! My food was recommended by my server Alejandro. I just made sure to ask for extra pickled onions because they are delicious. My husband had a beef burrito with cheese dip, rice, and beans. Alejandro did bring three sauces for us to try with different levels of heat, but I opted not to try any of them after I tried one and I didn't like the taste. I was good with just the salsa that came with the chips. I ordered a flan to go and I would give that a six out of 10. I don't ever have to have that again. The bathrooms were clean and really smelled nice. Whatever air freshener they are using in the women's bathroom is a 10 out of 10. Parking here is free and is first come first serve. There is a lower parking area available if the top level is full. The parking lot is shared with other restaurants and businesses in the same complex. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and a cold beer. Just had my nails done at the salon next door and needed some drying time ! This place is beautiful, clean, and colorful! Heavy on the tequila choices for sure! I had a Baja fish taco and a side of rice with queso on it. Both were delicious. Came in after seeing such high reviews and I was in the area. Parking is tight if you try to park up front I saw additional parking down the hill. Was immediately greeted and sat. Server was just not good that's why I took a star. She wasn't very attentive and everything took so long to be able to do anything. The drinks were well made! This is my second time here, and I enjoy my visit each time. Finding parking was easy. The food is always delicious. I got elote and quesobirria and it was so good! The elote is a must try. We decided to get the Oaxaca sunset pitcher to share. Between the three of us, we had about 3 glasses in total. It was delicious. If you like passion fruit, I would try this drink. I have been coming to Oaxaca for a few years, and I have never been disappointed. The food is always so flavorful and the drinks are always just as good. It's a casual restaurant and the vibes are fairly authentic. It's not the biggest restaurant, but there is still plenty of seating if that makes sense. This particular time, I went around brunch, and they do have a brunch menu. You can also order from the regular menu as well if you don't want to eat from the brunch one. I got the chilaquiles and a pastor taco for my meal. Both were very good. The chilaquiles was a huge portion, and I was honestly able to eat only about half of it. The pastor taco was so good. It was definitely a little dry, but they have sauces that you can dip and/or drizzle. I washed it all down with a spicy pineapple margarita, which was very refreshing. Overall, Oaxaca is a great place to go for brunch, lunch, or dinner. The service is great and the prices are pretty moderate. They have a huge menu, so you are bound to find something you like. And if you're not too sure, ask your server. They do a great job at answering questions you may have as well as offering recommendations. read more

I visited Oaxaca last night and my experience was a 10/10. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered the Texas fajitas, and I normally order a small side of queso with mine. The portions were large, so I ate majority of the steak and about half of the shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly! The fajitas came with a large amount of sautéed bell peppers and onions, which I appreciate. We also ordered a pitcher of one of the margaritas and it was delicious. Absolutely love this place. It's a slightly intimate space with lovely authentic decor. If you are a tequila lover, the drink menu is TOP TIER. There is an extensive mezcal and tequila tasting menu. My husband and I had the Oaxaca Sunset (the PERFECT cocktail) and Mezcalita for drinks. For appetizers we had the queso and the salads and chips they provide for everyone, which were both very tasty. Tacos ordered: fried shrimp (they default to grilled but were so kind to offer to accommodate the request for fried), suadero, chorizo, grilled chicken, barbacoa and shrimp ala Diablo. This was my first time here and I must say I love the atmosphere here. All the staffs were really friendly and music was great. The restaurant is in a very tight plaza off of old norcross road and parking can be a little crazy. I came her on a Tuesday night and parking was bad. I guess everyone wanted tacos for Taco Tuesday!! The food was very good. First thing I saw that caught my eyes on the menu was the corn on the cob!! It was amazing, the corn was so soft and sweet. I been in Georgia for 16 years and this was the first place that I found that serves corn on the cob of course it does not compare to California corns. The drinks here was so delicious! Found this little gem in Lawrenceville while looking for a Mexican restaurant. We were intrigued by the photos and decided to try it out. We put our name on the list and waited in our car (30min wait). PARKING is limited because it's shared with some other businesses and restaurants. We were lucky to find one but we saw people driving around and waiting for a spot. We got our table and checked the menu. The waitress was nice and we asked for recommendations. She recommended the SIZZLING MOLCAJETE (their signature dish - $20.99) that is basically a bowl of green tomatillo sauce with meat around it. It was amazing! We ordered it with steak and shrimp and the steak was melting in my mouth. The sauce was amazing! Everything was full of flavor. The dish also comes with white rice, beans with cheese and chorizo. The tortillas tasted like store bought ones and I don't like those. The chips and salsa were free and they were also pretty good. We also ordered queso but it was just average. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lawrenceville!!! This time I got the shrimp and chicken taco on a flour tortilla. The meat was seasoned well on both and it comes with onions and cilantro on the top. They were ok , they would be better with sour cream and cheese but that was extra. So I can't say much as I didn't order food but I did pick up and pay for an office lunch order. I was running late and trying to get the food to the office so I didn't bother checking the bill before I left a tip. I did have two nice ladies who helped my with all my bags to the car, but when I walked in no one helped me for a few minutes. When I got back to the office I looked at my receipt and was shocked and disappointed. They charged a large party/auto gratuity fee of 18% ($39.99) AND a 10% ($22.22) take out charge onto my receipt. Add on my $10 extra tip and that's STUPID!!!! I will NEVER order from here again, and I will ALSO make sure to tell all of my offices about this so they are aware. Shame on this place for not letting people know up front that they will be charging 28% gratuity AND a take out charge. My bill came out to $307.73. Never again. read more

One of the best fish tacos I've ever had! The Baja Fish Taco here is amazing! It is full of flavor and the fish is very tender. We also tried the Barbacoa, Al Pastor, and Chorizo tacos, but they weren't anywhere close to as good as the Baja Fish Taco. The other three tacos were slightly dry and the Al Pastor was way too tough for my taste: this is why my rating is a 4 and not a 5. Ordering take-out was very easy, I was able to order and pay over the phone. The staff was very nice, and the inside of the restaurant was cute. I've been here a few times but my daughter and I went for a Valentine's Day lunch today. As always the music is spot on- Don Omar and Bad Bunny always have me smiling. I got The Pink Wave, a Valentine's Day drink with watermelon and I asked for a tajin rim- it was sweet and the tajin really added a nice sour note. I also had a Spicy Pineapple margarita and as when I had it before, it was delicious. For lunch I got 2 tripa tacos( with corn tortillas- love that they were pink for the day!). I forgot to ask for it extra crispy but they were still fantastic- my 16 month old daughter loved them too! The salsa that came with was a excellent touch of heat. We also shared the Carne Asada- the meat was well cooked and still juicy, the rice was good as well as the beans. Our server( who I forgot her name but she had hearts on her nails-so cute btw) was fantastic! She interacted well with my daughter and even gave her a few stickers before we left. Came here for drinks on a Saturday night while visiting family in the area. There was a 20 minute wait, but we were able to put our phone number down and explore nearby.
