I order today because it's a Wednesday and it's my day off and I was trying to have a good food and everyone was talking about Mariscos La Riviera Nayarit and I order in Oscar A name because he has a donor dash account and he said that it was good app but they send it on a plastic plate instead of a aluminum which I ha be worked at Monroe Mexican restaurant and that's where we send them because of a dripping of the mariscos... and they send it on a platic plate I pay $63.11 for a nosotros or nothing on the shirmp. Came here for dinner for my best friend's birthday. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you come here with Spanish speaking friends as all the staff only speak Spanish. To start, no chips and salsa here. We were each given a fish tostada. It was delicious! For my meal I had bacon wrapped shrimp. It was so delicious! There was also cheese stuffed inside. You can't go wrong with bacon, shrimp and cheese. It came with fries, salad, rice and bread. The rice was cold and a bit bland. My friend had red snapper that was topped with shrimp. These were the BEST tacos I've ever had. And I've been to several places in Mexico. Any of the negative reviews are from people who think Taco bell is Mexican food. Very friendly staff. True, they don't speak alot of english but that makes it even better and more authentic. No trouble understanding what I was ordering. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for here. I came here with my mom for her birthday! It was crowded, but the atmosphere and live music made the experience fun! The restaurant staff were very accommodating even though we didn't speak Spanish. I ordered a giant seafood platter for 4 for my mom and I. I also ordered a pina colada for myself. My mom got their special coconut drink. Both of them were delicious. Although I have passed Mariscos La Riviera Nayarit seafood restaurant hundreds of time this was our first time going there to eat. I am not a fan of seafood so I was hoping they had non-seafood items and they did. While my my wife got the seafood combo with crab legs, shrimp, and squid, I opted for the Chicken Fajita dish. I loved how the chicken fajita was prepared and the food was a large amount so I took half home to have for my lunch tomorrow. It's very rare to find a restaurant full of seafood but this is one of them when arriving they give you a fish tostada which in my opinion it's one of the best ones. Then we each order our dishes my husband loves the fresh oysters with a beer and I ordered a seafood tostada,Then we proceed to order a mix of ceviche and some grilled shrimp , food is very good Great seasoning and overall seafood taste fresh. The only thing I would consider is that the serving sizes are very big. I also ordered the coconut colada to my opinion it was one of the best coconut colada I've had mixed with a little bit of cirock it definitely made perfect drink . I'm Back on my Seafood tip! But this time it's Mexican Seafood Ever had it?? Me neither. For the last few years Ive drove by this place not realizing what it was. It's literally an insurance building and on the bottom is a restaurant! I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and there were only a few people inside eating. The restaurant has a nice look on the inside and there was live music playing softly in the corner. As soon as I was seating a young lady came and brought what was called "Marley fish" tostadas to the table. This was a nice change because I expected chips and salsa. Then it was time to check out the drink menu so I ordered a frozen mango margarita. It came out with a straw wrapped in something I would describe as a spicy fruit roll up lol it was delish! My drink was also different, it was kind of on the creamy side but it was still good. The menus are in Spanish so our friendly waiter helped me figure out what I wanted. I ordered the Red Snapper Rivera which is a fried red spanner with onions and shrimp on top mixed with a spicy sauce. I was sooo good. We also ordered crab legs. I was impressed to see that you get 5 big clusters for $40 and It was a lot of food.
