Dr. Beitle is amazing . After being with my OBGYN 1998 up until he retired in 2021. I had gotten…read morepregnant with my 4 child and was super nervous about finding another great OB I went to meet him and instantly liked him he was very sweet I didn't just feel like another patient. Especially when I got Covid when I was 7 months and was in the hospital he would come check in on me and was always so sweet. He made me feel safe as it was going to be my 4th caesarean the day of my baby's birth I was so nervous and scared. He joked with me gave me a pep talk and was really my rock until my husband came in the room . Till this day I'm happy I chose him

Chose this Dr. Because of the glowing reviews. Unfortunately that's not the service I received…read more The reason I searched for a gynecologist, was because I had two serious UTIs and had two rounds of antibiotics a month apart. A developed what I thought was a yeast infection, my symptoms were a very sore rash, like a diaper rash on my vulva, and swollen painful lymph nodes in my groin. I took 3 day monistat and while the swelling in my lymph nodes went down, the rash persisted. I had no smell and no discharge. Just the rash. I tried plain yogurt on a tampon. Probiotics. Cut sugar grains and alcohol from my diet. Zinc oxide. Saltwater sitz baths. Nothing worked beyond temporary relief. I started developing unsightly varicose veins on my vulva as well as Angiokeratoma of Fordyce, which are flat black spots of pigmentation on the vulva. Obviously this was very concerning. I also developed "lightening crotch" which is when the pelvic floor randomly spasms and it feels like a sharp stabbing pain in the vagina/anus area. The staff when I scheduled an appointment were very nice and sympathetic. And the receptionist didn't bat an eye when I said I was a trans man. They were also lovely when I showed up for the appointment. However the wait times to see the Dr. were extremely long, I had scheduled the appointment with an hour and 15 minutes to get back to work. I wasn't seen for about 45 minutes past my appointment time, which made me pretty anxious, and worried about getting back to work. The Dr. Seemed to be in a mad rush. The exam was over so fast my head was spinning. He just said something about me looking "good" and prescribed me a single pill dose of antifungal medication as well as a topical steroid cream Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate. I completely forgot all my questions I was going to ask about the new bulgy viens, black spots and pelvic floor spasms. As well as my concerns about the swollen lymph nodes because of how fast he was going and how worried I was about being late getting back to work. It's been a couple weeks. I never heard back with the results of the tests. And my rash is as bad as ever. I think the cream is making it even worse. I'm so raw it hurts to sit and I'm not sure what to do. It's been over a month that I've had this. I can't have sex. I'm very upset as anyone would be and feeling very dejected if even the gynecologist can't give me answers. To top it off, he seemed pretty ignorant about trans people and asked me unnecessary questions in my opinion about my transition. I just brushed it off, but like, you're a Doctor. I can't be the first trans patient he's ever had. Let's focus on the reason why I'm in office, not my trans status.

I got called to go back and there was no wait time (typically you're sitting and waiting for the doctor) when Dr. Clifford walked in she was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I have had two very negative experiences here. I gave them a second chance-and I will never go here…read moreagain. My first appointment was to put in an IUD. It was a nightmare!! The installation device malfunctioned and the strings got stuck in the device. The Nurse Practitioner then had to take the IUD back out. Yup. All in one session-i had to get one put in (extremely painful) and then taken right back out (also extremely painful). I almost passed out. Then she kept telling me how rare this is-as if that's going to make me feel any better! I couldn't get up, because of the pain, and she had zero empathy. She was pressuring me to get up and leave after lying down for only 5 minutes. IT WAS AWFUL!!! My second visit was with a different doctor, and I was hoping it would be better. Sadly, this doctor was also terrible. He was rude and made me uncomfortable. I was there to talk to him about getting my tubes tied because I know I don't want kids, and I don't want anymore IUDs, nor any hormonal birth control. He didn't even introduce himself. He walked in and started with a snarky question-"so how many children do you have?" And seemed pleased with himself. WTF? I said none. I explained the nightmares I have had with IUDs, multiple serious risk factors for giving birth, plus my age (in my 40's), and being sick of negative side effects hormonal birth control. Getting tubes tied seems the best option to me. I also know my body can't handle having children. He told me that women who haven't had kids are likely to regret getting their tubes tied. And he wasn't telling me I couldn't do it-but that he didn't recommend it. Ugh. And then told me just to use a calendar and to plan to not have sex during my most fertile time of month. WTF??? That's your answer?? He was acting like it wouldn't be a big deal if I had a kid. ITS MY BODY AND MY LIFE BRO!!! This guy had a weird attitude with me, and was judgey about me wanting to get my tubes tied without having had children already?? I would not recommend this practice!

There was ample waiting room area, and masks were optional. The care quality was perfect. I use the lifespan portal, and I got my results in a half hour so I could view them before waiting to talk to the dr. I have been contemplating finding a new OBGYN practice since my traumatic birth experience but since the practitioner who was at fault left the practice, I held off. I guess it was not just that practitioner that was the problem. Both the MA/nurse and doctor I saw today were unprofessional and unhelpful with terrible bedside manner. The MA/nurse for some reason thought I was there for a birth control consult; when I said uh no I'm here for a fertility consult she LAUGHED and said "oh I guess the opposite then haha". NOT funny AT ALL to a woman who recently had a miscarriage and is dealing with secondary infertility issues. The Dr refused to order bloodwork or give me a referral and I had to basically beg for an ultrasound. I hate this place. As soon as I can find another practice I will NEVER step foot in here again.
