I have no complaints. In fact, I have had three ONGYN in the past five years , leaving them mainly because of their negative attitudes, and unprofessional ways. Do far, by far this doctor outranks them all. His bedside manners, his ( easily understood explanations), his professionalism, his compassion and his regard for the patient being nervousness during visits ... these are traits that mean the most to me. I've heard personally only positive feedback from many of his current patients for nearly a year before going to see him. They all said he is the best OBGYN in Springfield, and until I see red flags for myself I intend to stick with this place. I'm grateful that someone like Dr. Osterholt still exists. He's a very busy doctor, and so any little wait to get in is well worth it. As for the rest of the staff... couldn't ask for a better crew of people. Seems to me he picked the best. . read more

I would give them 5 stars but Jackie makes me dread walking into the office. I wish they'd remove her from the front! I LOVE Dr. Osterholt and Jenny, the NP. Dr. Osterholt delivered my daughter at 40 weeks and 6 days, my son at 39 weeks and 3 days and was THE BEST. Prompt, on time, kind, caring and so supportive! Jenny is so helpful and truly listens to your concerns. She takes the time to sit down and actually use her ears to listen, as does Dr. Osterholt. I love this office and hopefully Dr. Osterholt delivers the rest of the children I have. Their OB/GYN care is simply THE BEST in the area. read more

I am very unhappy with my experience here. First of all, I hate that they had me schedule 3 separate appointments all regarding the same thing. I have a full time job.. it is very difficult to find the time to keep up with that many appointments for something so basic. Second, I did not like my gynecologist, Dr. Jennifer Rust. She gave a nice first impression as she is very nice but she is terrible at being empathetic and compassionate. I went to her for a chronic condition I suffer and she officially sort of.. diagnosed me. She never upright said "you have this" it was more of a like "it seems you have symptoms of this.. so here is a bunch of medication to take". I felt like she had no sympathy or even cared about what I was dealing with. Thirdly, I had FMLA paperwork that clearly says a physician must fill out and she had me give it to the rude front desk lady that sits on the left hand side. She didn't even know what to do with it so I left feeling very unconfident that they were going to help me at all. But they were happy to take my $20 to apply even though "it may get denied because I am a new client". Ok? But I was just "diagnosed" with something.. I have every good reason to have FMLA... What does the length of time have anything to do with my approval? I will be going somewhere else needless to say. read more

I have to say, I was (and still am) very upset with my first appointment here. There was a list of rules a mile long that they wanted patients to sign, no big deal, right? It just stated that you were not to be late, or you would be asked to leave after a certain amount of times this happens. I sat in a room for almost two hours waiting for an exam! And then they want me to pay more than my deductible up front to switch out my bc device. I'm firing them and going elsewhere. read more
