There aren't a lot of places out here that have this much ambiance. It truly feels like the designers put a lot of thought into how the place should look and feel. I love how there are different rooms to filter in and out of, each with its own vibe. The bar is large and definitely the focal point of the main room. Plenty of seating. I love the fireplace in the room behind the bar! Adds an element of warmth to a bar, which I haven't seen much. The lighting is perfect, not too dark but not too bright. I like the variety of fabrics, textures, and fixtures that appear in the pub. It transports you somewhere else. I've been to pubs in London and all over the UK, so I can't say it takes you there (which is ironic), but Parliament does have a transformative quality. The prices are a bit high, but they know how to make a cocktail! Best gimlet I've had in Omaha hands down. The guy I was with wasn't sure which beer to order, so they provided him with a taster. Unexpected, and definitely sold the beer. I would say, though, that even when it's not super busy it can be hard to get a drink. The bartenders always look very busy and it is hard to get their attention. I would suggest staffing up a little on weekend nights.

And I love that they allow you to bring in outside food. The drinks are well-crafted (it's even fun to watch them being made). We originally were supposed to meet at the Farnam location but I ended up in legacy by accident. Glad I found out about the second location. They recently opened in November. Plenty of parking very aesthetically pleasing from the outside even the bathroom was adorable. The bartender Faith was amazing and she even let me try samples of different cocktails. They don't have food it is strictly a drink spot but I will definitely recommend this place for a girls not out. Wanted to mention the drinks are pricey but I went on a Sunday and they have all day happy hour on Sundays.
