They were simple, clean, and beautiful with minimal editing (kind of a "photojournalist" style). The space is in a tricky, oddball location (the "yellow submarine" building downtown, you know the one!) but the interior is bright, minimalist, and pleasing on the eyes. The refreshments on hand were also pretty great. Would love to come here for a photo show again...would love to have some of my own work on these walls...someday.

Recently, she produced a performance called of relation, and it took place at Out North, which is a first for me at this venue. I know Out North used to be in another place that is now Cyrano's, but this spot seems fitting. The main floor is a large open room with photographs, of what I'm assuming are this month's art show, and the performance took place in 3 rooms upstairs from here. Overall, it was a good show and a good time. I would like to come here again, and maybe even see the other businesses this sidewalk mall houses. It's old and has other oddball merchants, like an Ombudsman, that seem as interesting as this venue. Would check out again.

Size 10/0 are what I am posting about because that was one of the main reasons for shopping this day. I didn't even want to know with other beads I purchased, so I stopped measuring and sorting. Also, I am aware of different styles/types of beads weighing different amounts. However, it is not the case with these particular size 10/0 beads purchased. The owner is completely awful and is not kind at all (unless you're a man. Our last experience shopping kind of made that clear). Rude, and acts like she doesn't even want you there! Even if you're dropping a few hundred on her inventory. Shopped at this place twice. Each time spending over $290+ each time. Spend your money elsewhere for decent human service and beads. The store is fully stocked with everything from cameras and lenses to tripods, memory cards, bags, and more. Whether you are just a beginner or a pro, they have you covered. They also have a good selection of reasonably priced used camera equipment. The staff really knows their stuff, and you can tell they actually care about helping customers find what they need. The downtown location is convenient, but be aware, parking can be a little tricky during tourist season. Stewart Photo is my go to place for all my camera rental needs!
