The nurse practitioner I saw for my annual exam was great--I felt very comfortable talking about my health with her. It's also clear as you look around the office that they are very dedicated to inclusivity (from things they have posted to handouts) which also made me more comfortable. I would highly recommend this office!

I set up an appointment at 8:45am on 4/22 called at this location, someone answered they had us set for 4/25. We even received a call back from them on Monday the day before the appointment to see if they would take the insurance. When we arrived at the place they had us waiting here for more than 5 hours. And for some reason they magically didn't have an appointment set by us. Crazy how nobody spoke up to say they we didn't have an appointment set. We sat here like a bunch of dummies waiting for what. We finally asked again and they told us no you don't have an appointment. So honestly there are getting one star for not speaking up. Do the job your here for or just quit simple as that !!!!!!

I expect some of that but she never gave me the chance to explain that I walk to her office for appointments (which is why I was probably a little sweatier than the average patient) and take yoga before she started her lecture on incorporating walking and a little fitness into my life. She just assumed I didn't. But what's the point of having a doctor who doesn't listen anyway? I switched to Planned Parenthood and never looked back. They listen, understand, and never judge. Besides, her waiting room is some sort of unfortunate art and jewelry shop...I think it's tacky. You might like her if you have a judgy mom who doesn't trust you and want to be reminded of that. I don't have that kind of mom, so it seems very strange to have someone talk down to me like that.

Do you realize the nurse, Denise, is so rude, that I hope someone realizes her inabilities enough not to continue her employment until a massive shift takes place? Her rudeness will make you think you are watching a comedic scene of the most unprofessional employee, in history. If you try to reason with the nurse, Denise, it is as if you are talking to someone hanging out in an alley.

Update: This man…read moredoes not care one bit about his patients, I was newly pregnant when I came to him, I didn't know that obs are supposed to offer genetic testing and advise about certain things they see at the ultrasound. At my last visit with him I was already 12/13 weeks pregnant and he told us everything in the ultrasound was great!! We were all very new to this but were so very excited!....By the time I found another practice (Dr. Buxo was not going to renew his ob license) and got the 20 week ultrasound We were told that the fetus had a severe genetic anomaly, so severe that he was incompatible with life, and it was clearly present in the ultrasound and then confirmed with a genetic test, the whole experience was extremely difficult for us. When were compared all the ultrasound pictures, you could definitely see something wrong in the one that buxo took. Long story short, this man shouldn't be allowed to practice anymore, he clearly has no respect for his job, nor for his patients, he just wanted to charge for his services and leave us to find out later, with another provider. His cruelty is just too much, I am embarrassed I had given him 5 stars when I went, if only I had known what type of person he was. I would never ever step foot in his practice again. PS when I switched providers and they asked me who tended to me last and I said Buxo, they replied ... "That guy does not like women, he treats them badly"

The office is warm and inviting, not like a normal gyno office at all! I love how they spend more time with me and were able to get to know me. Feels good to be a person and not just a number. I had a little scare with my mucus plug coming a bit early and they reassured me that everything was okay and i was able to call a midwife and had an answer in about 5 mins as to what to do and if need be call back! they really care about their patients !
