This is an organic, slow food restaurant with vegetarian and vegan options (and meat/seafood as well) inside the Triana Market. Very friendly and helpful service.
It's easy to find meat in Seville, but we were really feeling like vegetables and more than the usual spinach + garbanzos that most tapas places have. The restauranteur was working very hard to translate Spanish ingredients into French for the couple ahead of us in line, using her phone to googletranslate, so I think those with specific dietary needs might do well here (as they also have vegetarian and vegan options.)
We chose a vegetable torta with broccoli and potato, among other veg. it was pretty good. We also got a bean soup with greens that was fantastic and fried vegetable balls with rice that were very good. Agua del grifo --gets you a pitcher of tap water (no charge, and the water is good in Seville). We took a slice of mushroom tarte home for the next day's breakfast.
Menu also features Spanish tortilla (the kind made with slices of potato), pizza, meat stews, hummus, assorted salads.
Bathroom grade: D- for now but the main bathrooms were under construction as I write this so hopefully this will be fixed by the time anyone else visits. read more
