She was very gentle and patient with my newborn and 3 year old during the shoot. Tania is an absolutely amazing photographer. I saw her Instagram a few years ago - she was offering fall mini sessions at the time. I booked a mini session for my family, and in a 15 minute span of time Tania somehow got an incredible number of great photos - even with my 1 year old at the time being camera shy. Since then we have done an additional mini session, maternity photos, and newborn photos with her. She is patient, friendly, and makes you feel at ease. Tania did amazing. From the gecko, she was easy to schedule a tentative date and work with. She was so flexible with obviously newborns who are cranky or hungry. She lets you pick out your photo background blankets, props and headbands. She tries very hard to fit/squeeze as many options for pictures in. I would highly recommend booking a newborn sesh with Tania! I was a little unsure about booking because of the cost but for the photos we got, it was definitely worth the price. Highly recommended! We booked Tania a couple weeks back for a mini newborn session. Communication for booking was very easy and prompt. We also received a detailed email with instructions on how to get our baby ready to have a great session which was very helpful! Tania's studio was warm and comfortable for our baby. Tania really is magic. I contacted her a few weeks before I was due and luckily she had some available dates during the busy holiday season. I ended up delivering a few days early and she was able to squeeze me in before our scheduled date so that we could keep the baby at that golden hour age (young enough that all the baby does is sleep and is super pliable). Tania's studio is super warm and she keeps her hands very warm with gloves and mittens which makes baby very comfortable. She emailed me ahead of time to let me know how warm the room was going to be so that I could dress appropriately. Even though I nursed the baby before we go to the studio, she was fussy and needed to eat and her diaper needed changing. Tania was extremely patient and busied herself with set up while we tended to our fussy baby. We had a few accidents during the shoot (number 2 all over Tania's wonderful linens) and she was so gracious as a photographer. We received our pictures before the two weeks that Tania told us it would take and are so happy with the results. We opted for the newborn mini-session and it really is such a great deal for the amount of talent, effort and patience Tania puts into her work and photography. We recently booked a mini newborn session with Tania for our 12 day old baby girl. Tania was very responsive to all of our questions via email from the get go! One of our concerns was the safety of our newborn due to covid, however Tania has got this covered and is attentive to prioritizing saftey as she uses a mask and is taking many more precautions (too many for me to list). BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS!!! I'm very picky about style of photos that I want. When I came across OC Baby Photos, I knew I had to get my baby's newborn photos from there. I emailed for availability and Tania got back to me the very next day. Tania suggested a week after my tentative due date. I decided to go with the mini newborn session since I didn't think I would be photo ready after the baby is born (and I'm glad I did!). All the contract and initial payments are done over the email/online. Very easy! Tania sent me some instructions for a successful photo shoot and her studio location in Brea. When we arrived, we fed the baby and Tania took care of the rest. There were a lot of props like baskets, vintage containers, pillows, headbands, bonnets, blankets, silk plants, etc etc etc. The challenging part was to choose which prop I wanted! There are just that many! Tania gave us some suggestions so that made it little bit easier. Tania was very good with the baby, too! She knew exactly what to do when the little one was about to wake up! The session went smoothly! After the photo shoot, she sent out the proof gallery within two weeks (we got ours little bit earlier). The photos came out just the way I wanted them. After I sent my final selection she sent out the final gallery within two day! I'm so satisfied with the photos and I'm so glad I went with OC Baby Photos! Overall, Tania was very pleasant to work with. She's very flexible and very understanding. My baby peed during the session and I was so embarrassed but Tania was totally understanding. Tania has 3 kids of her own so she knows! Her husband does wedding photography as well, if you know someone who needs a photographer for their wedding. Tip: 1. Look at Tania's work before hand before the baby is born since you will be busy with the newborn when the baby is born. See what kind of props and poses you want. She was so nice and able to fit us in to her schedule so we could get the pictures done in the first two weeks aaa suggested. Parents and families look no further! Tania does amazing photos and a great price. Most reviews do not talk about price nor does the photographers website. We paid $500 for the package deal for maternity photos and newborn photos, which includes digital copies and birth announcements. We had no idea where to do photos, so Tania suggested a local park and it was perfect! She took great photos of my 8 month pregnant wife, 5 year old daughter, and I. We spent about an hour or so around the park at sunset and the photos blew us away. She quickly returns emails and extremely helpful through the whole process. Since we do not normally get photos taken of us we lacked ideas and she quickly knew great poses and spots to do photos. Our baby girl came about a week early and we moved the newborn session up a week with short notice. We went to her house where she set up a quaint and warm studio. She took family photos of my wife, newborn, and myself. Even after my baby girl urinated on my as I held her she was calm and helpful about moving forward. Then she started taking pictures of different poses of our baby by herself with props she had and ones we brought. She incorporated all of our props into photos and handled our baby girl with so much passion. We were amazed how kind and calm she was with the baby and the patience needed to get the right shots. Our daughter urinated again on her blanket and she changed it and continued on. She had plenty of props and picture ideas. Overall, very pleased with the price and the pictures we received.
