Nana is the best & this review is long overdue. She handled our twin newborns great at her home studio. Preferred to go to her as she had a good selection of props/scenes to choose from & provided all the newborn accessories and an outfit for me also. She remembered all the shots I wanted of the newborns & family & was able to get one of the dogs looking & smiling at the camera also. I appreciated her being prepared also with one "dragon" theme photo I had mentioned to her. When there was an issue with the twins names being on the wrong side of the photo I appreciated her being able to quickly come up with a solution and using her editing skills. There were also multiple edits/details that my husband & I wanted adjusted & Nana was very communicative via text to get these details right. She is an editing pro. Although expensive, I purchased an acrylic cover photo album from her and absolutely love it! High quality & hope to keep it in the family forever. Nana is a great photographer. She took care of my two boys newborn's pictures in 2020 and 2023 and has done holiday pictures for us as well. She is so good at handling newborns and she is so efficient. When you have a ten days old baby, you want to be quick and go home. Nana is amazing! This is an overdue review, but Nana took my son's newborn pictures and we are so happy with them! The hard part is picking and choosing which pictures to keep because all of them were great. Nana is super patient and gentle when she works with your baby. When my son got fussy, she was understanding and gave us time to soothe and feed him. Her session fee is reasonable, but it can get pricey when you start adding digital images to your package. We chose Nana for our newborn photography shoot, and she is amazing! First of all, let me start by saying that her response time and communication is excellent. She always responds quickly and answers all questions and concerns. Because of covid, she is booking fewer clients each week, so that she can clean and sanitize in between clients, so be sure to schedule in advance for photoshoots. I didn't get photos done with my first born because the photos are typically expensive.... and have been looking jealously whenever my friends would post their newborn photos. Overall my wife Cindy, baby girl A, and I had a wonderful newborn photography session with Nana Newborn Photography (NNP)! I consider myself an amateur photography hobbyist and felt that NNP's style of light and composition easily meshed with our liking after reviewing her portfolio and a quick introductory zoom meeting. She took the initiative to ensure a successful session providing us with instructions + reminders for prepping/feeding our newborn prior to the session. We yelped many newborn photographers and her rates outcompeted most photographers, but we opted to go with NNP based style alone. We had our newborn photos with Nana on 01.19.2020. My babygirl was 9 days old. I was nervous because I wasn't sure if my daughter would be asleep the entire shoot or will she be awake crying. However, my daughter was great, she slept through it. Except for one moment when she woke up crying and I fed her. Then Nana held her to sleep.
