I had such a great experience here. The ultrasound was a breeze and Jordan was nice and made it feel very welcoming and not awkward at all. She answered all my questions and gave me great advice. I have been trying to get a mammogram and ultrasound for over 10 years with insurance and they have always been denied even though my mom had breast cancer at around 34. I didn't even leave the parking lot before texting my friends about this place. Mammograms are notoriously uncomfortable and have a limited area they can see and they expose you to radiation. Ultrasound allows you to see all the lymph nodes into the arm pit and upper chest. Not just what you can smash between 2 plates. I'm never getting a mammogram again. Ultrasound is better in every way. I didn't wait at all either!! During the ultrasound I also got lots of good information on how to have even better breast health and preventative care using natural methods. Highly recommend!!! read more

On July 10, 2024, I visited OC Breast Wellness which was referred to me by a client. I had been experiencing pain in my left breast and later in the week I was going to be getting my scheduled mammogram. When I walked in the office, I was greeted by a very nice young lady. I gave her my name and she told me that Jordan would be with me in just a few minutes, a young lady came out of the office and introduced herself as Jordan, the technician that would be assisting me. as I entered the room, she was explaining to me what procedure I was going to have and talk to me about my history. As she was examining my breast, she was explaining What she was doing and what if anything she was looking for. I have been told over the years when given a mammogram that my rest are dense with no explanation of what that meant. Jordan thoroughly explained what that meant and assured me that it's not uncommon or abnormal to have dense breast. As she was doing the ultrasound, she was explaining what she saw and showing me pictures at the same time. The good news is that my exam was good and the pain I was experiencing could be muscular, as there is muscle behind the breast and I could have strained my muscle. The information shared byJordan was more than I've ever received related to my breast and the importance of breast wellness care. She is knowledgeable and very professional! Overall, this was the best experience I have ever had when doing a yearly exam. I went to my scheduled mammogram on July 12th. I was told once again my breast were dense and that my report was good. I would have never believed what they were saying if I had not had the ultrasound prior to going to my regular yearly mammogram appointment. From this point on if I have any issues with my breast and for my yearly checkup, I will be getting a mammogram at OC Breast Wellness. I have been coming to OC Breast wellness since they opened in 2012 for my breast health care. I come annually for a breast ultrasound and no longer get mammograms due to the harmful radiation ( I of course would get a mammogram if it was recommended based on concerns from findings of my breast ultrasound at OCBW). I love OC Breast Wellness and Jordan! I had a mammogram done with suspicious findings in my left breast. I had an ultrasound done (check their website- great info regarding how this ultrasound is more sensitive than the other kinds done at most hospitals) and am glad to report that I have no findings. Yeah- the 3D Mammogram that was recommended would have exposed me to unnecessary radiation. I simply have dense breasts! As most women do! Ladies! Do THIS ultrasound with Jordan prior to doing Mammograms and exposing you yo harmful radiation. Do your homework and due diligence. One mammogram is equivalent to at least 20 chest xrays! You will also be pleasantly greeted, have a warm soft bed during the procedure and warm ultrasound gel! I think you will be just as happy with the education and information you receive. read more
