We had an amazing experience with Dr. Broad and her entire team. Throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum, we always felt cared for, supported, and in the best hands. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made a difference during such an important moment in our lives. We are very grateful and highly recommend them!

It's been almost a year and I always think about how great my delivery experience was with Dr Broad! I'm so happy I went to her for my pregnancy (more babies to come) Every check up was attentive and we did all the scans and blood checks necessary to make sure everything was normal. My baby was breached so we had a planned C-section. The whole process went incredibly smooth and quick. Dr. Broad is very caring and she tries to help as many patients as she can. I appreciate her so much!!

I have never encountered a Doctor and Nurse Midwife as caring as Dr Broad and Nurse Donna. They are patient, never rush you, and give you their undivided attention when in the room with you. After a traumatic birth experience with my first child, I was looking for a doctor who would understand my fears and Dr. Broad gave me exactly what I was looking for. Once in a while, there is going to be longer wait times at an office with a single OBGYN who gets pulled out to deliver babies. Babies come when they want and sometimes that puts Dr. Broad behind with her office patients. That is completely normal and justified and doesn't happen at every appointment. Just remember that you'll want that same care from Dr. Broad when it's you laying on the delivery bed! She's Super Woman! Nurse Donna is also incredible and I always looked forward to my appointments with her as well. She's extremely knowledgeable, never rushes you out, and her and Dr. Broad both give you alternative and natural options before throwing 1000 medications at you like every other doctor does. Dr. Broad made my c section as calming and enjoyable as possible. She told me "We're having a birthday party, let's play some music!" I will never forget my experience here and will be back if I decide to have another baby. Thank you Dr Broad and Nurse Donna!

I spent 9 months with Dr. Anderson and left with no progress and a recommendation to consider donor…read moreeggs. I'm writing this so no one in a similar situation wastes the same precious time I did. Background: I came to him at 36 with severe DOR -- AMH of 0.03 and FSH consistently above 15. His approach was to wait until my FSH naturally fell to 15 or below before starting IVF. For someone in perimenopause, that's very unlikely. He also refuses to use estrogen priming to help lower FSH, citing egg quality concerns -- a position that, per multiple other specialists I've since spoken to, is not backed by current evidence. The biggest driver of egg quality is age, not estrogen priming. After nearly a year of waiting, disappointing appointments, and being told donor eggs might be my only option, I found Dr. Wayne Lin at FCOC (Amazing doctor!!). He immediately came up with a game plan, starting with estrogen priming. I told him what Dr. A said and Lin assured me the biggest driver of egg quality is age, not estrogen priming. Lin put me on estrogen to bring my FSH down and started IVF right away. He gave me a realistic 30% chance of a normal embryo at my age. His facts were exact. Out of 3 eggs retrieved, only 1 was normal. She is now my healthy, bouncing, 14-month-old daughter. I later found out that Dr. Anderson is widely considered one of the most conservative fertility doctors in Orange County, and that some of his data points and methods appear to be outdated. His bedside manners are also a 5/10. At one appointment, as he walked in for yet another day 3 ultrasound and commented, "Boy, you're persistent". I was surprised, but I was willing to put up with him because I thought he was the best. However, I later found that Lin is a much more skilled doctor with unbeatable bedside manners. As for the office itself, it runs efficiently -- you're rarely waiting more than 10 minutes, and the finance department is genuinely skilled at navigating insurance issues, which is no small thing in the fertility world. The nursing staff was a mixed bag; about two-thirds were nice, but the remaining third had a cold, very 'Newport Beach' vibe -- like you were an inconvenience rather than a patient going through one of the hardest experiences of your life. That contrast was especially noticeable after switching to Dr. Lin's office, where every single nurse is kind and empathetic without exception. Conclusion: If your FSH is over 15 and he won't start IVF: LEAVE. Get a second opinion now. Time matters enormously in fertility treatment, and I wish someone had told me this sooner.

We can say with complete confidence that we would not have our family without Dr. Anderson and his extraordinary team. What makes SCCRM special is not just the outcome--it's how they operate, which is increasingly rare in modern healthcare. Dr. Anderson is the foundation of this practice. His decades of experience and deep understanding of reproductive medicine set him apart. He does not follow cookie cutter protocols; every decision is individualized and intentional. He is methodical, conservative when appropriate, and determined when it matters--never doing anything unnecessary, but never withholding something that could help, even marginally. That balance made us feel safe, respected, and fully supported throughout an unpredictable journey. I've seen criticisms of Dr. Anderson, but that was not our experience. He listens, explains, and genuinely cares. When things didn't go as planned, he was just as disappointed as we were. When we had wins, he celebrated them sincerely. He is unusually accessible--available seven days a week and responsive when questions or concerns arise. He felt like a true partner, and we trust him completely. He does not sugarcoat difficult information, but he delivers it with honesty and respect. Most importantly, he is relentless in his commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. If you trust Dr. Anderson, follow his guidance, and give the process the time it requires, he will do everything in his power to help you succeed. The nursing staff is exceptional and deeply invested in patient care. * Julia consistently went above and beyond with warmth and clarity. * Crista brought calm confidence and excellent communication. * Daisy offered unwavering empathy and attentiveness. * Doris provided comedic relief while being thoughtful and thorough. * Joyce was incredibly sweet and highly skilled, always making us feel at ease. Molly at the front desk also deserves special recognition. She was consistently kind, welcoming, and a comforting presence at the beginning and end of every visit. We also worked with Dr. Royster, who performed one of my egg retrievals while Dr. Anderson was away for his daughter's wedding. His skill and professionalism ensured seamless continuity of care and reinforced the strength of the entire team. Operationally, SCCRM runs like a well oiled machine. Scheduling, monitoring, communication, and procedures are efficient and intentional. You always know what's happening, why it's happening, and what comes next--something that significantly reduces stress during an emotionally taxing process. Our family exists today because of Dr. Anderson and the team at Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. Their expertise, consistency, and unwavering commitment turned an uncertain and exhausting process into real results. We will continue to recommend them without hesitation to anyone navigating this journey.

Thank you so much to Dr. Elizabeth Dilday and Hannah Kim for taking such great care of me throughout my IVF journey. Today was especially emotional because I graduated from the clinic, and Dr. Dilday gave me a hug before I left. It was such a heartfelt moment that I'll never forget. I also want to thank everyone behind the scenes, the front desk staff, coordinators, phlebotomists, nurses, and every single person who helped along the way. You always made me feel welcomed, cared for, and hopeful. Going through IVF can be overwhelming, but this team made the journey so much easier with their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. I will always be grateful for everything you've done for me and my family. Thank you for helping make our dream come true.

But this review is about my entire experience with egg freezing here -- and the frustrations have buried the highlights. I genuinely wanted to love this place. I just can't. Start with billing, which has been a nightmare. I need my invoices for medical reimbursement -- that's money I'm owed back -- and despite staff promising to "expedite things," it took 2.5 to 3 months to get them, lack of email responses, calls with no number to call back, extensions that only goes to empty voicemails, after they'd sat marked "pending" for nearly two months. And when I finally reviewed the charges, the refund amounts had been added up wrong. So now I'm double-checking their math too. To fix it, I had to chase a separate department on East Coast time, which became an endless game of phone tag. Their billing is somehow both impossible to reach and disorganized once you do. I came on a referral specifically for Dr. Dilday, and everything was fine -- until the morning of my procedure, when I was casually told she wouldn't be performing it. Instead it'd be whoever was on rotation. How is the day-of an acceptable time to learn that the entire reason I chose this clinic isn't the person operating on me? A heads-up days in advance is not a big ask. Dr. Dilday did visit me, which was genuinely sweet -- but one kind gesture can't paper over how poorly this was communicated. Then the anesthesia, which still upsets me. I told the anesthesia team and every doctor that I come out of anesthesia rough -- clearly and repeatedly. Nobody believed me. The anesthesiologist brushed me off, saying that in all his years he'd never had a problem, and any issues before were because I hadn't had him. Well -- I had an adverse reaction. I woke up in traumatic, screaming pain, a 20 out of 10, exactly what I'd warned about. I wish he'd taken me seriously as he weaned me off the medication after the OR. My recovery was far worse than the two similar procedures I've had before -- genuinely concerning -- and I'm left wondering if it was the technique, the anesthesia, or both. When a patient tells you exactly what will happen to their body and you ignore them, this is what you get. Now the pharmacy. CCRM uses an outside pharmacy, and that was its own disaster. The driver "missed the delivery window," and then management couldn't even locate their own driver for hours. When they finally found him, he had to meet me at a dinner venue -- where I walked out in front of all my friends to grab a giant cooling box for medication I did not want to explain to anyone. I was over an hour and a half late to my event, then had to inconvenience someone to store the meds in their fridge, which meant sharing a deeply personal situation I'd have preferred to keep private. I basically lost a whole day on the phone juggling team members over a pickup that should have been a simple delivery. And all that chaos traced back to one decision: the clinic sent only a single day's loaned dose. So of course I then had to call the on-call doctor after hours to report I didn't have what I needed for day two. I still don't understand why they couldn't just loan two days' worth so nobody has to scramble. It got worse. Right before my trigger injection -- the most time-sensitive, do-not-mess-this-up part of the whole process -- the on-call doctor clearly hadn't read the notes from the physician before him. He instructed me to start a medication I was never given and that was never ordered. I was at work, and he sent me into a full panic attack, because I couldn't drop everything to figure out what I supposedly had, literally the second-to-last day before my trigger. The lack of professionalism, the broken handoffs, the total breakdown in communication between departments, physicians, and billing -- it has genuinely let me down. And it's worse because this could be such a great place. The talent is here, the reputation is real, and I drove two hours each way because of it. I could have stayed local, but I took the referral and did my research -- only to find out how much exhausting, unnecessary work this would be. Roughly four months later, I'm still chasing invoices that don't add up or aren't complete enough to even submit. Fertility patients are already carrying enough emotionally, physically, and financially. It should not be this exhausting. The anxiety, the frustration, the helplessness, and the feeling of not being heard at times really don't make this experience with CCRM. I wish it wasn't so, and I am so sorry for leaving this review, but i really don't wish this upon anyone who is coming hoping for a good result.

What makes my experience special is how I first met her. During my first pregnancy (2022), she wasn't my routine doctor... it just so happened that she was the on-call doctor the night I went into labor. Looking back, I truly feel lucky that she was there that day, because it gave me the chance to meet the wonderful, caring person she is. That experience alone made such a lasting impression on me that I knew I had to switch to her practice for my second pregnancy (2026) and I'm so glad I did! From the very beginning of this second journey, she has shown an unmatched level of dedication, compassion, and expertise. What truly sets Dr. Howe apart is how deeply she cares about her patients. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, making sure I felt informed and confident every step of the way. During my second pregnancy, which was unfortunately high-risk, her calm, skilled approach helped guide me through what could have been an overwhelming experience. One moment that really reflects her commitment was when she personally called me on the morning of my delivery while I was already at the hospital. She checked in, reassured me, and walked me through the induction plan for the day. That level of attentiveness and genuine care is rare. Dr. Howe goes above and beyond for her patients, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Granted I am worked up due to frustration and run around with multiple different ER visits and Urgent Cares, but the bedside manner I have experienced in my last few visits here has been incredibly disappointing. I've had issues with insurance billing, wait times, etc. I came in for a visit following what was believed to be a ruptured ovarian cyst after my first ever visit to the Emergency Room. I walked in to the ultrasound with Katie to be greeted with "are we here for pregnancy?" - there was no viewing of my chart to even see what I was in office for the day prior nor to mention if I was struggling with fertility issues. Notes from my visit the day prior were not complete. A full ultrasound was done and I was left covered in gel on the table with no napkins or ways to clean myself off after she was finished. Comments were made by the nurse on my first visit, after losing 13 pounds (I was barely 135 and 5'8") and now am down to 122 pounds due to a severe trauma. For a women's clinic, the lack of sensitivity to very triggering topics was incredibly disappointing. I could hear the PA & ultrasound tech discussing my health and findings in the hallway loud enough for the remainder of the office to hear, including about how I voiced my concerns over Katie's bedside manner. I have a follow up appointment scheduled but after that, I won't be returning. Such a shame. I love Dr. Howe but the remainder of my experience has tainted my desire to return or recommend this office any further.
